Great, wide open park for sprinting with large enough space to separate from the main crowd and toss the ball. Water bows by all the tables - 4 picnic tables. Overhead lights at night provide enough coverage to feel comfortable. May want to bring a collar light for your dog so you can keep track of them if they wander too far!
Nice large fenced in area for small dogs . A separate area for larger dogs. I like to take my dog when no one else is there to practice recall training. Poop bags provided. Porta potty. Bike trails and walking trails. Baseball diamond. Nice park
Love this open field set up so you can see where ever your little friend is
Its one of two dog parks i feel comfortable always bringing my dog to. Good people and the annoying dogs are few and far between!
Nice quite place in the early morning to walk your dog or clear your head.
Might be biased by the gorgeous day today, but have enjoyed each visit to this park. Its got a large grassy area to enjoy some time off leash with your dog and benches to relax in the sun or under the shade of some large trees.
The dog park was awesome! First time there was yesterday and I was anxious. The people were awesome and all the dogs got along. There had to be close to 20 dogs playing together. We will be back often.
Very clean, lots of room for the dogs, and there are a couple different pins according to size
Safe, clean place to let your friend run, play, and socialize!
Similar experience as recent reviews. Great simple park but some make you question going. Group had a dog that was growling and all over my dog. Yelled from across the park for them to please call their dog off of mine and they could not have cared less. A young blonde said since its a dog park I should take my dog elsewhere if I didnt want that to happen. Dogs behavior is a clear reflection of the owner and I wish she couldve helped make the park welcome for all. Met several great owners there since then with variations of the same interaction with that group. Enjoy the park but be courteous with your pup and keep your pet safe by being vigilant of others.
Nice dog park, lots of room for the dogs to run. When I was there, there were maybe eight or ten other dogs that were all very friendly like mine. I plan on going back there tomorrow. They do charge $3 per day and have lots of rules.
The people were welcome to outsiders, my pup had a blast with the others. People were cool, good stuff.
Nice big open area. Only met nice people there so far
Lots of space, ground is clean and well maintained.
Very chill dog park, tons of people from 5-7 on weeknights. Everyone is super nice and all the dogs are pretty well behaved!
What a great park! Its huge, with a good variety of landscapes - open grass as well as trees. Nice bathrooms/ drinking water facilities. Definitely will return.
Nice, clean park
Has very wide open fenced in space for running. Has spiket for water for dogs. Has picnic tables for sitting and visiting with others.
If you dog can jump fences you may want to keep a close eye on your dog. Other than that there are lot of other dog owners who show up with their beautiful beloved dogs. Your dog will have a great time.
Great place to bring your dog and meet up with friends.
Large clean open space with a big hill and a pond outside the fenceLarge clean open space with a big hill and a pond outside the fence
Dog loves to run. No other dogs there today to play or chase.
Large fenced in area for quite a fewdogs to run loose. Its like a big backyard. A few trees and a big hill.
Great environment for dogs, nice friendly regulars visit this, with drinking fountain nearby. But in the winters it gets very cold and ice skating rink like
My lala loved this place, she made alot of new friends.
Great times here at #wigglebutt
Its a fantastic fenced in field, that gives dogs more than enough space to run around. Its also a great way to have dogs interact with each other.
Great place. Can get a little muddy. There is a group of people who think they own the place that come around 4 or 5 daily. I would avoid those hours if you want a good experience. Otherwise my dog loves it
Love this park. Has a fenced in dog park thats big. They have two hockey rinks and a regular rink in the winter. They also have a warm house and its lighted at night. Lots of wildlife in this park like deer, pheasants, fox. Lots of nice walking trails. Shingle creek runs through the park.
Its a really big fenced in dog park. All grass no wood chips. There are no balls laying around so you will needed to bring dog toys. Does cost three dollars per a dog. The city expects you to respect them and honorably pay.
Nice big open fenced in park can almost see the entire park from any where the times ive been there have been a couple dogs or none at all kinda nice sometimes
Love it be erynice dog park!
Areas for large and small dogs
Nice large dog park . bp park and rec workers are top notch
First time visiting the park with dogPros: A large dog park with lots of space and places to exploreCons: A group of people thinking they own the park. Basically what happened to the other reviewers also happened to me. They sit or stand in a group and don’t pay attention to their dog. I left pretty fast when their dog started harassing mines.
Had a good bike ride, clean trails.
I dont have a dog but I would drive my kids here to just sit in the car and watch owners bring their dog to this place. Some days there are up to 10 dogs playing. some days quieter or busier. This park is almost hidden. I was looking for a new playground for my kids and came across this. Great for dog owners and their dogs.
I dont have a dog, but I big area for him to run around, and a nice park for the kids
Always a pleasant place to take a walk.
Great Park. Lots of paved trails that connect to other parks and go for miles. The dog park is fenced in and quite large. New playground equipment on the other side of the park. Small basketball half court and a baseball field, too.
So much fun
Been going to this area for many years before it was a dog park.. I had the same experience as others with the regulars. Last time, I had a friends Pug mix and we didnt even get in the gate a a big dog had her on her back. The bad thing is, no apology and we had to leave as the attack dog owner didnt. I feel as though the city should monitor these people for a while. It is not their park.
Great park with area for dogs to run, 2 great softball/little league ball parks that have lighting.
This park is big, fully fenced in there is a water fountain at the entrance to fill water bottles and poop bags. There are water bowls in the park and the grass is pretty well maintained. There is now also a pond that isnt fenced but is accessible through the dog park for dogs to go swimming. There is also a big hill and a nice trail you can walk your dog on leash if you want to. The only down side to this park are some of the regulars. Their dogs are a little too dominant and will pick on and gang up on more submissive dogs. The owners also just huddle at the benches and tend to miss their dogs poop and misbehavior so they dont correct the bullying.
Great place with nice people!
Nice park, lots of bugs so bring the bug spray!
A wonderful hill to encourage exercise, large enough for great games of chase but not so large youll loose your puppy. Covered in healthy grass. Water fountain on site plus picnic benches.
Love dogs.
I love the sad part
A nice dog park but wish the small dog area was a bit nicer. Its so bad that not many use it ever.
Nice, huge dog park!
Nice dog park, fenced and able to see the entire park. Has a hill for some more interest.
My dog got a puncture wound on his face today from an aggressive dog named Jack. Jack approached my dog and started aggressive behavior. Owners asked if my dog was okay and removed their dog from park. I didnt see the blood or the puncture wound right away. And to piggy back the others who have stated the same, there is a group of regulars that normally come at 4:00pm on a daily or weekly basis. They stood in a small passive aggressive circle talking until someone came and addressed me personally. I was shunned for bringing tennis balls into the park because their dogs will focus on the ball instead of playing with the other dogs. I avoid the park at this time...
There a small group there that try to run the place. Yelling at you if you bring a ball for you own dog to play with. Them yell at you again when their dog attacks yours making it somehow your fault because they stand In a group talking and ignore their dogs
Well maintained, well behaved dogs, responsible owners, various terrain.
Nice fenced off area
Nice place
The park itself was great. Its a good place to let your dog roam around, but I would reccomend it to dogs and owners who like to interact and play fetch with one another, otherwise theres no walking trails. Besides that, the only con is that there are regulars, as in people who seem to go there on a regular basis and for my first time going, someone failed to whisper watch out, theyre new at this. As well as asking me if my dogs were friendly (not welcoming to pitties, I brought my American bullies) and if they werent friendly, I wouldnt have brought them otherwise. So already feeling unwelcomed, I would never go back.
It is the worst dog park around as people let their aggressive dog in and let them attack other dogs its suppose to be a good fun place to go for your pup and its not
Beautiful Park and nice trails
Clean and well maintain
Dog park side is great, picnic area is infiltrated with rude, dis respectful teens and is littered with garbage and gang activity, wouldnt recommend taking your kids there...
Love the place and most dog owners
Good park to workout the dog.
Great for dogsWell kept up
Nice place!
OK
Fun place for dogs
Fenced with a lot of room
Great playground in a quiet, serene setting.
Very difficult to find
