We love this place, they have everything including cooking itemsand jello molds. They have all the crafts. They are not crowded, have nice selections, and are well stocked. They also have polite, and knowledgeable staff.Lots of parking + handicap parking and front access.Wear a mask because no matteryour skill level, you must wear amask if you want to shop for thegoodies.

The store was not very busy. Many of the shelves were bare with boxes of inventory sitting in the isles, making it difficult to navigate some of them. I was able to check in and out quickly as the store was unusually quiet. They did not have everything I was looking for in stock. The staff I encountered was friendly and cheerful.

Michaels is like going to church for me. I am amazed at all the cool stuff they have to create with. I also think it helps me budget my SSDI benefits better because some things there that I want I need to save for.

My husband and I had planned to meet at Brooklyn center Michaels, as we had a return to make, but we both had return items, from the same reciept in our respective vehicles, but I had the reciept with me. We also had a birthday gift that we were then, going to purchase, at Michaels, with the refund.He got there first, and after waiting awhile and not hearing from me, he went in and returned the items he had without a reciept. He gave them his i.d. which they scanned and put through their fraud prevention database, and gave him the refund on a merchandise credit card. This is exactly how their return policy states it will work when returning without a reciept.When I arrived minutes later, and I realized I also didnt have the reciept with me, I went inside to do the same with the rest of the return items.Instead, without running my i.d. or really looking at what I was returning, the cashier informed me that they didnt do recieptless returns, and that I would have to have my credit card (which wouldnt be happening, being I had made the original purchase in cash), or be a rewards member and my purchase would have had to be made using that rewards membership (a member, I am not.) Knowing this information to be false as of 7 minutes prior to that, I asked to see the manager, whom arrived shortly and told me the same thing. She doubled down by saying they havent done recieptless returns using only an I.d in years at this location.Dont expect to be treated fairly at Michaels, or have them honor their own return policy.

The Brooklyn Center Michaels was a pleasant surprise. I only visited because my neighborhood Michaels (Coon Rapids/Fridley) is closing. However, I was happy to see the upgrades at the BC location! The only thing that could have made this experience better would be if the store associates on the floor acknowledged my existence. Ill be back :)

Things are pricey compared to some places, that said the selection is really good and the staff are friendly enough. Only thing I have trouble with is finding staff, a lot of times you have to track them down.

Very upset. This place is not transgender friendly. My friend had a person who worked here followed her through store and after being told she didnt need help. The women continued to follow her til she was done shopping and went to the register. The women made her so uncomfortable that she didnt purchase the paint she wanted. Very disappointed in their customer service. To treat someone different because of their appearance is despicable.

They are stocked with what they have its just that they dont have a whole bunch. Also, this one doesnt appear to have Montana spray paint. I look for this low-pressure spray paint wherever I can find it. Great for precision aresol artsy stuff. The Michaels in Rosedale has it do whats the deal? The staff is a little thin here but are generally a decent group.

Very helpful staff and are able to point you where you need to go. Also, I was approached several times to make sure if I had any questions I needed answered. So that was definitely a plus!

It appears to be a pretty good place for crafts and small items for your home.

Order 2 half gallon mason jar, they only do curb side pick up now. Place order at 12pm and still not confirmation to pick up items at 4:30pm. Call store, no one picks up. Must be very hard to fill an order of 2 mason jars.

The custom framing area does great work. Id give it a higher rating, but lately it seems that the overall store is quite under staffed. Finding assistance can be quite difficult.

Stop by picked some new micron pen and few other items and found the perfect bag for my pens. The cashier mad sure I got 30% off my total bill.

So here’s what happened when I tried to get to this michaels that doesn’t actually exist. I was gonna take the 22 bus but there was a train so the bus didn’t go to my stop. I decided to walk. It took me an hour. I get to where it SAID this michaels was. IT WASNT THERE!!!!!! I walked for an hour for nothing

Please please please correct your address on google maps. Driving all the way here only to be led to a residential neighborhood and to find out you’re ten minutes away is not fun.

Havent been to a store before as a Rewards Member before, and the app in my phone. So, I was still getting used to the way I was to read the app and the coupons applicable toward my purchase. The cashier Roberta was very cool about my confusion, and pretty much said she would take care of me. She made sure my rewards account was open and that I got the discounts! Such AWESOME customer service! This will be my designated store for crafty stuff.

Address is wrong and took me to a residential area, called and talked to a cashier who told me theyre at 1300 Shingle Creek Crossway, right next to the Walmart.

Id give a zero if at all possible, you can never get any help and then today I had one of their associates just follow me around and double back after every few minutes just another store that isnt transgender friendly

Cashiers are distracted and lazy. One younger gal likes to initiate inappropriate or off topic conversation and has no sense of when the customer is done talking. So awkward. Extremely slow too!Another one expected me to lift every item up so she could scan them. Then handed them back to me rather than put them in a bag like I had already requested. Twice. Very frustrating. Not too mention she was talking on her phone to her husband during the transaction so I couldnt tell what she was directing towards me or not. (Had a Bluetooth bud in her ear)One by one the stores in that shopping area are driving me out by incompetent employees.

Some of the products seem to be made cheaply. I bought a trendy fanny pack from here and it broke after first use. However, this is a great place for your creativity to flow! Theres a knowledgeable staff always willing to help you find the right product to make your artistic visions come to life. This store relocated from Crystal in the past couple years. The Brooklyn Center location is very clean and organized.

A good place to get craft supplies and kits of all kinds

Always ALWAYS check for coupons before you set foot in this store. Digital coupons or print coupons... Never purchase anything without doing that first. Oftentimes they have 40% off. And.... If you dont have a coupon, You could even buy a cheap y priced item and get receipt with coupon on bottom for 40%off.Staff has always been excellent at this location, asking if I need help. Parking is shared with the other strip mall stores, Five Below, etc.

I rushed in last minute within a half hour of closing and Anne (I think her name was) greeted me at the door and immediately offered friendly service. She quickly was able to look up the items, walked me to the aisle and found extra for me. Michaels has always had friendly staff but this location really stood out. It seemed to be one of the larger ones in the area too. Five stars for sure!
