Great park across from the high school, large open space great for ball games, picnics, socially distanced gathering... nice sky when the sunset as well.

My grandson had his high school graduation ceremony at that field so of course he was very nice and showed everything and the weather was absolutely great

This field is a disgrace to the town of Brookline. Basically weeds, dirt, and divots, but perhaps a good dog walking poop park. There were plans to turf part of this field which a few loud individuals were able to squash. Over 2300 kids at th High School, countless youth programs and the community would have benefited from a turf field to play sports and activities. It is a beautiful fall day, my daughters soccer game was cancelled because field was closed by the town due to rain yesterday.If this field was turf, we would have had the game. Twenty five young girls would have got some exercise and parents would have been able to chat and enjoy this fall morning. Where is the since of community? It is a me town. For those of who squashed this field, how about stepping back for a moment and thinking about the greater community. I consider this action being very selfish by a few and inconsiderate to the greater good.Does anyone else feel this way?
