Such a neat place. This bar has been around since the dinosaurs, and I wouldnt change a thing. Its so dark in there, so who knows if its night or day. They do have a lovely patio area, so snag a seat there in warm weather. If you are inside, get one of the seats by the big front windows. You can bring food in. Pro tip: Pizza King will deliver!!

It has been 20 years since Ive been in Skinners pub. And while it is not the same as when I remember, and really nothing is, it is still a great place to grab a beverage and hang out with some friends. It still has that same warm welcoming environment. It still has that same awesome bar. It still has that same chill, relaxed vibe. If I lived in Brookings, it would be my go-to place to hang out.

Always friendly, always fun. Great service, great drinks, knowledgeable bartenders and customer-focus! Historical charm and the best outdoor patio in TOWN! You want Skinners for happy hour, live music, game days, and pool!

Remodel has greatly improved skinnners. Also the beers on tap dont have that skunky dirty tap line taste anymore

It was a busy evening. Tough to find a spot to sit down. One of the bartenders was friendly other seemed kinda annoyed.

I think this is a great place to grab a few drinks and hang out. They have decent prices and great specials. The bartenders are always friendly and helpful. The only downside is its usually pretty packed and the service can be backed up on busy days. The crowd also creates a lot of volume. If you like the full bae atmosphere, which a lot of people do, the weekends are great here. Otherwise, Wednesday and Tuesday nights are my favorite.
