I am rather upset about the fish house I own and the support I have received from distinct builders. I bought a brand new 2015 Lodge Extreme off the RV lot.I have owned 3 ice castle fish houses before this. Upon my reasearch and reading, Lodge has said most rugged multi season trailer. I have had nothing but problems. I have had simple things as in LED trailer lights burn out (4 at this time), switches for winches are not sealed and failed due to winter conditons which the trailer I meant to be used in, table has failed, benches have failed, broken both leaf springs on both axels and now I bring it into a local RV place to have bearings repacked for the upcoming year.They stated I have a bent/broken axle. I use my fish house all winter long and have had less issues with ice castle and they cost $10,000 less. I have called Distinct 3 times and left 2 voicemails about the axle and 2 emails off their website. No response at all. For the price you pay you dont get anything better then an ice castle that cost A LOT less. The other crazy part is all the issues I have had they have upgraded in the 2018 model. So they know hey have issues are not willing to not help fix the fish house you own.Save your money and look at a different fish house company. Even the RV dealership I bought my fish house has gone away from Lodge and have switched to Ice Castle. Wish I would have never got ride of my ice castle.
