So went in to purchase the new UDI club from TaylorMade. Asked an employee to try hitting the club with the specs I wanted and instead he had me hit a different version of the club. He set me up in a hitting bay in the back and then just left. Never came back to see what I thought. I then went to get the club I wanted and stood there for 20 minutes and multiple employees walked past me, not even saying “hello” or “have you been helped?”. Finally asked the cashier about getting someone to help and he said all the workers were busy fitting people for clubs. If that was true there must have only been 2 workers in the whole store. I also told him I would like to trade in my “old” driver (TaylorMade m5) and he said to take it to the tour center which I did. The kid working there looked it up and said they would give me $93! I bought it 3 months ago and looks pretty new. After that I left and decided I don’t think I will be returning to that store ever again. We definitely need some other options in the area to chose from.

Very professional golf staff. Any question you may have oh, they will have the correct answer. Trust them to do a good job of fitting you for irons or a driver! I am never disappointed when I go in that store. Great atmosphere, too! Always a fun experience!

No club inventory to speak of. Some drivers in stock. No selection of fairway woods or hybrids. Came home and ordered my clubs from PGA superstore with free shipping to my home. We need a Superstore in Milwaukee area. Lack of options. Too bad!!

Been going to this place since it opened years ago. Went earlier today to finally get a new driver and Brett (it mightve been Brent?) was super helpful in getting me the right club for what I needed. Super knowledgeable, chill guy. Taught me some things about ball mechanics that I didnt know.My one complaint is that good lord does the demo/range area in the back get hot. I was sweating a ton even though Im in pretty good shape. Theres poor air circulation in there. They really need to have fans pointing somewhere at the tees.

So I like the store and the employees are nice but a little clueless. I was purchasing a push cart and I asked “how do I know which color is which in the box?” I wanted the purple one, specifically. The kid working didn’t know...so I just took the demo one that was already out of the box. I paid for the cart and then I asked another kid working to show me how to close the push cart so I could fit it in my car. He didn’t know. If you don’t know, fine...but ask someone to come over to help me. He clearly saw me struggling...good customer service from his part should have been calling a manager or someone else over to help get this thing collapsed so I could fit it in my car. I was getting irritated so I just left and shoved the “un” collapsed push cart into my small car. Also, if I purchased the demo, is that product usually discounted or no?

Wanted to give a set of US Kids golf clubs to a kid who couldnt afford em. I bought this set with a bag @ Golf Galaxy for my grandson 3 years ago and he had outgrown them. I talked to Tom who ascertained I could give them to First Tee. Mission accomplished. Thanks Tom.

I have shopped at this store many times and have always had a great experience. Ryan, the store manager, has always gone out of his way to help me whether its getting properly fitted for clubs, ordering new equipment, or understanding what I may or may not need in the bag. All of the sales associates are very knowledgeable and friendly. They make shopping fun rather than stressful or annoying. I can tell that they value relationships at this store and arent just looking for a quick sale. The golf shop is great for repairs and equipment fixes. The store always looks clean and tidy. What more can I say. Its my go to store for golf.

Literally just walked out of here after standing there for 20 minutes and not 1 single person asked if I needed help. I was doing some work around the house earlier so I had paint stained shorts and a shirt on. They ignored me as Im guessing they assumed I was poor. Unfortunately for them Im now taking my business elsewhere and I was ready to drop $2k on a new set of clubs. Horrible customer service.

Went in with hopes to demo some irons, get fit and purchase. Asked the clerk in front - who was sitting on the counter with his back to me scrolling on his cell phone - for some help. He let someone know I had inquired about demoing clubs through his headset and pointed me to the club fitting station. After 10 minutes of standing and having multiple employees walk past me without acknowledgement, I asked another employee who directed me to the back of the store where the hitting bays were located. 5 minutes later, same result. There were 3 hitting bays open, multiple employees talking with each other or performing miscellaneous tasks like folding clothes, etc. so it didn’t appear that it was an extremely busy time. Regardless, I left and will be getting fit and purchasing clubs elsewhere. Would recommend others do the same.

Had a set regripped and the results were...okay. A few of them seemed quite off with alignment, like it was a rush job. They hopefully should be playable however.Also didnt seem interested in honoring the contactless curbside portion of the free contactless curbside regripping promo the company is currently offering. After calling the store, I was instructed to drop off the clubs inside and I also had to come inside to pick them up when finished.

I have gone to Golf Galaxy a few times. One was to get some clubs of mine re-gripped and the other was to get a new set. Both times I was there, the staff was super friendly and directed to me where I needed to go. I accidentally bought the left handed clubs and was able to go back and exchange them for the right hand. The staff again was super friendly and helpful when exchanging them. I will only stop at Golf Galaxy for my golfing needs from now on.

I purchased a glove usa it once and it ripped, the store clerk said he can replace it for me because I only use it once and told me to purchase the protection plan next time but the store manager came and said he cant because I didnt purchased the protection plan but I told him I never knew the protection plan for the glove and never was mentioned about it in the first place.

Stopped in to try out a new driver, it took some time to find anyone to assist BUT... when the guy Tom did come around he went above and beyond! We compared cuts with my current driver to the new one with no pressure to buy, then we found what size glove fits my hand perfectly.. Tom was awesome. P.S. I have a shaggy beard and was wearing my factory work clothes, and he still treated me with respect... which is saying something.

Excited to get my son fitted for some clubs and purchase him his first set. Couldnt get any help even after eye contact. Asked an employee if they were available, he asked What do you want? I told him, he said he was with customer and to please wait. Waited 20 minutes. Tried to find other help. Didnt work out so I left. I did measure my son using their guide book and a borrowed tape measure from their Tour Shop. Just purchased him a set on the internet. Oh well.

Pretty decent prices on used clubs that are in good condition. The customer service is very poor. I always feel like Im asking a dumb question when I go to this location. Nobody ever asks if you need help.

Not what it once was.Still able to get basic services done, but the hitting screens are outdated AF.Stock is still ok, clearance rack you can usually find a deal.Wont buy clubs here though.

Selection is awesome, but their service isnt the same story. Took around half an hour before I got help with anything, even with workers walking around the store. Three of their workers were standing in one of the simulators talking to each other, and I walked into the simulator to look around, made eye contact with them, but didnt get a need help finding anything? or anything of the sort. It wasnt until another customer with his son interrupted them to ask a question when I asked another one of their associates about testing a club. He gave a pretty snarky response, saying Well you cant just grab whatever club you want and go hit it. It doesnt work like that. Ive been golfing for a while and know you need demo clubs to test, but I didnt know where they were and was pretty shocked with his response and how short he was with me. I swear you have to be a player on tour in the PGA to get the right treatment in this place. Ill go there to test clubs but Im never gonna buy from this store.

My boyfriend and I went there to get his grip put on his putter and to test out his new driver. A worker told him to come around 1:30 and we got there a couple minutes late and the guy looked down at his watch and made a remark about how we were late. Then the two employees continued to be super rude and short with us. They acted like it was a chore to help us.

I absolutely love the service I get here. Taking the time to show me things rather than just going through the motions. I struggled with putting my putter grip on and Dave took the time to show me what i did wrong so I don’t make the same mistake.

I always have horrible customer service when going to this Golfsmith location. The employees dont seem to care about you unless you fit their opinion of a golfer. I would recommend anyone attending this location to drive 1 mile west to Golf Galaxy for better prices, and MUCH MUCH better customer service. The staff at Golf Galaxy is not only extremely knowledge, but willing to help everyone and anyone that walks in their doors, not just a select few.

If you like rude customer service, long lines, and getting absolutely no help even after asking for some. Then this is the place for you. I have literally walked around or stood in one spot for 15 to 20 minutes before someone asked if I needed help. Then they would go get someone to help me. I cringe if I have to go here. There arent to many other options around the area with their selection. I would rather fall down a flight of stairs then have to deal with the rude and often unprofessional associates that work there. Good luck with this place.

For 30 minutes the world was about me. There was a small line of other people waiting to for the simulator and/or one on one help but it didnt seem that way. The man that helped me pick out my new driver took his time, never rushed me, until we found the perfect club for me. When you are buying a 300 hundred dollar item this is the type of service you want.

Great service and friendly staff! Needed a new driver and was buying a hybrid for the first time; they had me test out several in my budget (great selection of pre-owned drivers for cheap! And also higher end drivers if you are willing to spend more) and I found one that worked very well and was very comfortable. Got a brand new hybrid as well on the simulator, very excited for this golf season!I will be coming back here for any golf equipment purchases, whether Im in Milwaukee or elsewhere.

Needed a replacement golf club for a kids set I purchased here because the shaft was broke (didnt notice initially because the grip was holding the broken pieces together). Thought it would be a hassle because we had the set a few months before we used them, so I no longer had the receipt. Turned out to be no problem; the first person I spoke was able to help (didnt have to wait for a manager) and tried to find a new club. They didnt have one so they ordered a whole new set sent to my home. They overheard me telling my son we couldnt play today because we were returning the set, and they told me to keep the old set until the new one arrived.I could not be happier with the service.

This may be a little long but bare with me.Im a novice golfer and went into the store today to buy my first set of clubs. I was walking around kind of lost only for a few minutes when a very nice employee named cj came and asked me if i needed any help. I bet he might have passed me if he had only know all the questions he was going to get lol.However cj guided me through what seems to a novice as an endless sea of different clubs to some cost effective options that would be good for a beginning golfer and also were more forgiving game improvement irons and also forgiving woods and drivers.Beyond that i was able to test each option and get a feel for them he was very kind and patient with both me and my 11 year old daughter who thought the store wad awesome and probably would have putted for 2 hrs had i let her.Everyone in the store was polite. The store was extremely clean everything is clearly marked and easy to locate throughout the store. This was my first trip today and i plan on going back tomarrow after i verified there prices actually beat anything i could find online with there current sale which i was informed will possibly be ongoing through fathers day.I dont normally write reviews but this was honestly one of the most positive experiences i have ever had at any store period in dealing with employees and how we were treated. Great place highly recommended.

Customer service is terrible. I went in to replace a shaft heres the timeline.1) Friday -Left club with them to get reshafted, they had to order the shaft so it would take around 5 days. 3 for receiving the shaft, 2 days to process. They would call when it was ready to pick up.2) Wednesday (5 days after) - I called them because I did not receive a call. Go to find out (probably because I called) they ordered the wrong the shaft. The guy i spoke with, had no urgency and didnt even apologize for the inconvenience. BTW, i was on hold for 10-15 minutes.3)Saturday (9 days after), I go into the store, assuming they Overnighted the shaft. THEY STILL DIDNT ORDER THE SHAFT!!!!! I spoke with a guy and I quote its not my fault I didnt order the shaft, I have to go help someone else and left away, no questions, no nothing. I Waited for someone else to come back (10-15 minutes) I then asked for the manager and told him my experience, and they gave me 5 free taylormade balls, that makes it all better! Ha4)Tuesday (12 days after), I called them after 4pm and they finally had it done.5) Waited until Wednesday night to hit the club to allow the epoxy to cure, and the head came loose. Said F$#@ it! Bought some epoxy and re shafted the club myself. NO ISSUES6) Went in to try to get fitted for a driver, I waited 30 minutes with no one asking me if I needed help, and I looked like a person who needed help. Stood in the same spot for this entire time and even had employees walk back with no engagement.Its terrible service, terrible prices. Go online.

This location is just a joke. They didnt know the pricing on bags, they brought in a used set and didnt know a thing about them (you think if they are buying and reselling they would get some info from the original owner). Had one employee that had no knowledge of golf. Everyone standoff and not very friendly. Quite sad.
