The museum artifacts are interesting and great, however, what makes this museum out of this world are the Veterans that man it and share their stories, conduct tours, and share stories of their favorite pieces. They dont rush you thru or hurry you along there is a passion that is felt. I will be going back for the flight simulator. All wars are represented from the Revolutionary to the Afghan war. Local heroes and sheroes are honored and there is a special exhibit for the Native Americans contributions. The knowledge in the Veterans is more than a learning experience. It is sad, happy, heartfelt, honest and they are men of patience with much integrity. A MUST SEE.

This is an awesome place to visit! Plan to spend at least 1 1/2 hrs here. Mr. Mike, our guide, was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He and all the men that work or volunteer here are veterans themselves and take pride in showing you around the museum. My 10 y/o son had a wonderful time looking at all the model planes and ships. Visit this enthusiastic group of guys... You will not regret it!

I brought here my 10 years old son which he has a very important passion for History and in particular WWII and Military history in general. The museum was his perfect place! They have great collections, lovely disposal and mostly we got the opportunity to talk with the Veterans that were at the museum. This part was the best!!!! We will definitely go back! They have a beautiful library too. Go bring your family there to meet people who made the History!!!!!

Lot of historical memorabilia. The staff are all veterans. Was really cool hearing their stories. Hand made historically correct flint lock rifles. They had memorabilia from wars going back to the revolutionary war. The family and I really enjoyed the history of Americas wars.

One of the greatest dangers to History is the absence of recognition. Today most children growing up have no idea what the price was and still is for our freedom. At this museum we have a wonderful reminder of the cost and pride of both victory and loss; loss of life.A child who enters into this museum will come to understand both the tears and the respect these men and women shed and earned. That child will see physical evidence of our past; a past often denied by today scholarly textbooks.Show your respect to our Veterans by visiting the Military History Museum and discover how and why freedom is never free.
