This was my third time here at Bristol Riverside Theater on Bristol. Once again a fine show put on by some great singers and musicians doing a variety of traditional, not so seldom heard and religious Christmas songs. The Christmas Songbook was a wonderful afternoon delight to get you in the holiday spirit and share it with a group of friends. Though the theater is smallish there is literally not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are very good too. Prices are reasonable there is beer wine and snacks too. Both plays I have seen here were very entertaining too. A Neil Simon play who is always funny and a one man show about a famous supreme court judge. On nicer days you can sit on the patio balcony outside and enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and views of the Delaware River.

Bristol Riverside Theater presents excellent plays and musicales. It is a small professional theater and ther performances are top notch. All seats are good. The house manager accommodates people with disabilities via a side door and actually seats them and stores their wheelchair. The first nights performance has an after party with free food and wine while the actors, actresses, singers, and the band mingle with the patrons. Behind the theater is the Delaware River, benches, a fishing pier, and a place to relax. Always an enjoyable night!

I was there for the first time and I really like the play Lion King jr. With all young people. The costumes and set were very inventive and clever. The price was great only $10! The only bad thing was that you couldnt park in the lot, you have to park on the street

I attended alot of shows here and they made me feel like i was watching a real broadway play. Its better then watching a tv show and everyone is very believable in thier characters. They have comfortable seating but i prefer sitting on balcony so i can see the whole set and less crowds up there. They have a gift shop inside with some snacks to buy and you can get a season pass to see all the plays. This place is worth going to!

We have been season subscribers here for several years and have always enjoyed the shows. During the summer they have a concert series with their house band and performers for the singing that is extremely well done and great to sing along with. The crowd tends to be on the older side but is extremely nice.

The venue is small which creates an intimate atmosphere. This is particularly nice if the actors use the entire theatre space and not just the stage. The seats arent built for those with larger statures. It is a regional theatre that attracts very good talent, but it doesnt have the big budgets for enhanced set designs or costumes that youd expect on Broadway.

I thought last months musical was great but this last one of the season Broadway Serenade shows that you saved the best for last. Totally Broadway quality. Each singer exeptional.I especially appreciate the talents and skills of Keith Baker who keeps the continuity and pace of he performance moving at the just the right tempo, there is never a dull moment in the entire show, you find yourself not wanting to take an intermission. A most delightful afternoon.Ed Stout.
