I am a current member, and have seen major improvements under new management. New clubhouse is a welcome addition, increasing the food selection. The golf pro there has helped me ( a relative beginner) play a decent round, and I highly recommend him for lessons. The course is quite challenging, and never boring, bring your A game.

My husband and I came to Brighton for our Honeymoon (May 2015). We have come back several times to continue vacationing here (what we call our Honeymoon House). We always try to make it a point each time to play a round here. Beautiful, love the design. Will be back!

Club house is very clean, staff is professional, friendly and offered great advice. Course is in fantastic condition (lots of trees taken down to open up play) . A few of the greens are incredibly difficult but most were fast and true. Highly recommend playing a round or two.

Very interesting golf course with the very old design similar to a Donald Ross Course with the Cornish Silva beautifully designed holes this is a hidden gem. You cant just bomb it out there, you have to think your way through this course and do the math if you want to score low! I am a 13.2 HDCP 1st time player at this course and shot an 84 but it was a fun and I will definitely return here on my next vacation.️

This is a handsome and challenging course with two distinct personalities, with the older holes nearest the clubhouse open and straight, and the newer ones that dive into the woods below the clubhouse ridge bedeviled by twists and turns and tiny, well-guarded greens. It adds up to a course that plays, in my opinion, much harder than its slope and rating. Yesterday neither my son (9 hcp) nor I (18) brought our A game and we suffered as a result. The lower two-thirds of the holes provide little forgiveness for an errant shot. There is almost no rough between fairway and woods or wetlands, and when the course is dried out, balls can carom into danger off the many knobs and rock heaves. Course familiarity and conservative shot selection can help a lot at Bridgton Highlands.
