My review dates back to 1985. I was 11 years old. Good times, good music. Looking at the pictures, I see a lot of happy faces. Enjoy your youth.

Very friendly, clean, good music, and reasonable prices

We went Friday and my daughter had a medical emergency as to where I thought she was dying. Majority of the staff were nice and helping as were other skaters. However the big, linebacker lady thats at the door taking temps had made several smart remarks and shes lucky I didnt hear them. They had to call the ambulance and I was leaving in my car behind the ambulance. She had a full blown attitude about my oldest daughter and friends being left there on the parking lot. My cousin was on the way already and the police officers told me that my kid and friends would be fine because theyd watch them until my cousin got there. Nobody asked her to come outside to be nosey nor to be rude and ignorant in front of my kid and her friends. Karma will handle that though. I cant stand rude people and may she never find herself or a loved in the midst of a medical problem and have someone being rude to her or her family.

I really enjoyed a gospel skate session they had a couple years back. I wonder if they can consider bringing it back. I went skating a couple weeks ago on a Friday night and it was cool. The music was pretty vulgar for kids I thought though. It could have been toned down a bit. Some music is just not appropriate for kids. If its going to be a family night it should be family friendly music. Music containing sex and violence for kids isnt appropriate. Please consider reinstating your gospel night.

My first time visiting this rink. The staff was nice and the food was good. The first time slot went well (3:00pm). Our kids had a great time. Seemed like an awesome family venue. They had so much fun we decided to stay and wait for the rink to reopen at 7:00ish. Big mistake. At this point, more people arrived along with two Police Officers who were supposed to be “security”. I was actually happy to see the officers, thinking that the lovely family atmosphere would continue with their presence but I was wrong. Unfortunately, the officers that the Owner of the rink chose were two smug individuals with a confrontational demeanor. I spoke to the Officers, they didn’t speak back. My toddler is obsessed with firemen & cops and wanted a high five. Again, they wouldn’t even speak. Let me remind you this is just a small skating rink with only a few individuals. It’s not like they’re busy patrolling a big sporting event. Besides walking behind the counters, they also walked in the kitchen area multiple times. Never bothered to wash their hands, just began making themselves food and drinks. This is now unsanitary for the customers. In addition they literally harassed every kid who skated passed them.The final straw was when they kicked a MINOR out of the skating rink for repeatedly holding on to the wall while he skated. AND THE OWNER ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN. The minor child was learning how to skate and obviously, the wall was a safety mechanism for him. Then a screaming match broke out between the minor’s family and the Officers.Unfortunately, I didn’t get their name and badge numbers but one was short, bald with grey eyes. The other was tall and basically followed the short one around like a lost puppy. The Owner of the rink didn’t seem to mind the Officer’s behavior or attitude. I highly doubt this would happen in any other neighborhood. I personally say do not patronize Coachlite Skating Rink until the Owner can find suitable Officers who’ve had cultural sensitivity and de-escalation training.

Had my daughters 12th birthday here 11/16/19 and music was total garbage nothing anyone knew! We requested different music that everyone else knew but he kept playing stuff he liked!We’ve been here during the school skate night and the music is always really good and the kids know it and sing along which is why I booked the party! Huge disappointment! Won’t ever book a party here again!

I didnt like how the owner handled his establishment losing power and music. He is very rude even to those who try to use intelligent instead of attitude. I do like that security enforced rule but the cop was too aggressive to kids. Some kids are just being kids. Not all trying to start trouble. I understand if they are starting fights or causing trouble but why is the cop on the skating rink. Too much and over the top. I will stick with skating king.

Great skate music!

...I went to purchase some skates and the person who sold them to me was very unfriendly! I’m a very friendly person and noticed that while I’m being friendly I was being met with dry and sarcastic behavior! I went ahead and purchased the overpriced skates but once I left the establishment and replayed the interaction back in my mind the more I felt I didn’t want to give 200$ of my hard earned money to someone who had a very SMUG disposition! So I returned the skates and was met with the same rudeness! This person super inspected these skates as if I did something to them! I could not get out of there fast enough! If you read this MR. SIR please be a little more gracious to people especially ones spending money at your establishment!

We had our daughters birthday party here and we chose this place because it was a halfway point for all of our guests. Very nice friendly staff, the place was clean and organized. Our only complaint is the lack of diversity in music which made it less enjoyable for us.

Nice location but the place (bathrooms, seats and tables) is very dirty and nasty. The rink itself is cool but they should really consider upgrading.

The first time I went here was great and I felt like I was in heaven!the rolling never stop the fun doesn’t ether it’s is awesome I went more than 60 times and I’m planing on going this summer if We won’t be in quarantine tilll then.But I highly recommend going it is something that you will be addicted too.

Skating was jut fine on tuesday night and most of all the music was great. Ten dollar admission is a little too high.

Absolutely love adult skate on Tuesday nights! Its just nice to skate without kids. However they could have a little bit more variety in the music and play more old school R&B very little of that is played at least on Tuesdays

Brings back a nostalgic feeling for me literally because the place hasnt changed since when I was a kid. With that said it has kept up really well. Good place for a kids birthday party and they do have lessons. Pretty killer sound system also.

I like to say this place is great for birthday party. Just had my 8 year old sons party. The service and the people working there was so helpful. The food was great some of the best pizza and wings I have had anywhere. Again thanks for all your help for my sons party. If Cam wants to have his 9th party there we will be back.Ron

The staff at Coachlite skating center is, and always has been very kind, friendly and accommodating of our family and friends. Reasonable price points as well. We plan to continue patronizing this fine establishment.

This is a nice family skating rink. Kids love it and the rink is maintained well. I wouldnt recommend the food unless youre keeping it simple and buying a soda with popcorn. Also the DJs dont play a variety of music genres which would make the experience morning pleasant. Overall, this is a good place for a kids event.

My 7yr old son loves it. I am taking lessons so I can skate with him.

Old white man holding on to the business for dear life and charging an arm! Its NOT clean, majority of their clients are black, the parking lot is overdue on a makeover. Tear it down and rebuild...

I just love skating! The staff there is awesome, so friendly, helpful and enjoy what they are doing ️ I love the atmosphere, the music but sometimes it need to fit the age group that is taken up the most space ️ When there’s a lot of kids, the music should fit them️ All that rap and cursing is not appropriate for the little ones ️ Other than that, it’s all good ️

Fun & exciting but man it was extremely crowded! They had like 5-6 birthdays at once. Little kids everywhere & barely a place to sit or stand.

This is place is a jem in the county! Friendly people, staff and a great place for a girls night. I and a few friends went to the Tuesday adult skate. It is a relaxed and non-judgmental environment. It is fun to go and skate a little and then sit and watch all the talented people that Grace the skating floor. They also have family days and lessons on Saturday. It was fabulous!

9 dollars is just ridiculous, but my baby really wanted to skate so I took her anyway. Plus I love that they have those rolling things to help the beginners. They should have a discount for parents who are only putting on skates to skate with the kid

I recently went back to one of my old childhood favorite places. My daughter is learning how to skate and she loves going there on the family skate days.

Rude Staff....Over priced EVERYTHING...WAAAYYYYY too crowded....No AC....Nasty Concessions...A complete and total RIP OFF!If you want to have an enjoyable time out with your family or friends....I would not recommend this place....you will leave broke from the high prices.......injured from the old skates and over use of the skate assistant things they allow the kids to have on the rink.....HOT because they have only ONE big fan blowing with the AC OFF........and upset because the staff moves slow...talks to you any kind of way and threatens to blow trash on your 3 year olds Birthday cake because you dont move as fast as they want you too....Worst experience I have ever had!!!

Everyone knows Coachlite has only one real problem, and its the cost to skate. Kinda high like the highest in the region. Other than the price its all cool

We had my 6 yr olds bday party today. It was a BLAST. We got almost all adults to join. Our hostess was very nice and was so helpful and available. The price was reasonable also. What a fun time..

I went to a private session and the tickets were $10 for 2 hours then they turned around and charged another $2 for skates rental. I spent $56 for skating that is ridiculous. I understand if it was state of the art but its ladies room is nasty and out of date like usual and the skating rink had blowers on the floor drying water which almost caused me to fall.

Great lessons arebheld here. Very friendly atmosphere. Great teachers. Family oriented. We always have a great time there Saturday mornings. Just remember to dress comfortably. Dress for warmth in the winter months. Be ready to peel off a few layers as thebplace warms up.

This place is rundown, dingy and dark and the music sucks. There was no good variety and they played very inappropriate songs while children were there skating. No thanks.

You have an no drop off policy USE IT. Not cool For you to take their $$$But then call police Get rid of the Police. Hire more real staff.

The employees are nice, however, the food & admission is expensive. When you order a drink you can not have a straw or top for your beverage. Its just open & exposed. I dont think Ill be back there unless they participate in Groupon.

Not a bad place to skate. Music selection is old. Best to play updated music to keep the crowd coming back instead of replaying the same old played out music every session.

Went twice in over 4 months. I only went to the latest Sat night session. It gets very crowded; I guess thats when all the pro skaters come out. I ordered food once and was told that it was going to take 10 min. Well it took almost an hour. I wasnt too bothered by it, just starving. But the restrooms could use more work though. There wasnt any soap but hand sanitizers were present. The good things about this place are the not bad looking skates and the small arcade.

They were under staffed. My daughters party time was 4pm-630pm and I was told that our food would be served between 430-5. The guy didnt bring my pizzas out until about 5:45. Then he had my pizzas stacked on top of each other, placed the stack on the table and said Dont touch the trays, theyre hot and walked away as if I had another option to pull the pizzas apart. No one came to pick up trash. The pitchers of soda are overpriced, $8 with no refill. I will NEVER have a party or recommend anyone to do their childs party at this business. The worst $205 Ive ever spent.

Purchased the Party Package for my duaghters bday party. Other than getting to bring in cake and icecream to serve it was not worth the money. A few plates and napkins were dropped off for my large group and that was it. Had to ask for more supplies and when food would be served...no one was taking care of us...was not a hassle free experience which is what you pay for. Plus in the middle of opening gifts we were interruped to pay our bill... not cool. Music was not really kid friendly, no variety either. Had a bday shout out by the DJ but not even a happly birthday song. Could have been a super experience but instead it was a 2 star day.

Family Night! The manager Gene told me I was too young to escort my niece into family night. Im 25 and he had my I.D..she is 12. He said Family Night is only for parents and children, he then said guardians dont count in his opinion. Aunt and niece is family!
