Clean, great staff, great Gym well managed they truly have a plan to keep members safe during Covid-19 and implement that plan daily

A good gym! I was a member a few years ago and now visit when Im home for the holidays. The staff are very helpful and personable, and have set me up with temporary passes during those times. Theres a good selection of machines and my membership also came with access to the classes.

We love the J. It’s a 3-minute drive from our house, it’s clean and well maintained. The equipment is modern, the classes are fun and effective, and the pool is top notch.

I have such mixed feelings about this place. I was here a few months ago to try the place out with my friend who is a member.... It was extremely clean. The front desk staff and fitness trainers were amazing! The gym is pretty private, I loved that about it. However, I overheard a few things in the ladies sauna room about the management, specifically Raleigh and Kim. I just brushed it off, despite even my friend saying the same things about them, I just loved the gym. Fast forward, I now see what everyone meant. The front desk staff are still extremely nice, the gym is still nice and clean thanks to them. The trainers are wonderful and I love their classes. However, Raleigh, the membership guy, is very unpleasant. I thought the membership guy would be the complete opposite! I think I have seen him smile once, He walks around with such an attitude. I came in to sign up and I asked the person at the desk to please not pass me on to him because he is so cranky and unpleasant. My friend and I have also heard him talking very harsh to the front desk staff people. As for this Kim Fox person, she is just a nightmare. What I have heard from literally everyone, and experienced myself, is that she is HORRIBLE at her communication. SO many unanswered voicemails, emails, and calls from SO many people. I am NOT the only one who has said something like this. I am so happy I am not locked in with them for a whole year, I would much rather cut my sofa open and eat all of whats inside. The 2 stars are ONLY for the front desk staff and class instructors. And the nice clean, private facility. - Thank you

I am a very serious bodybuilder and The J has everything I need to stay in tip-top condition. Sometimes I wish the weights were heavier but thats one of the many prices I pay for pushing my body to the absolute extreme limit. Sometimes I wish the sauna was hotter but, again, another price I pay. Sometimes I wish the pool was deeper and Im not even sure why. I could go on listing the limitations I encounter in a world not designed for a world-class sculpted physique like mine but I wont. Ill spend the rest of this review detailing the aspects of the J that are pleasing to me. The staff is always welcoming and are polite not to gawk openly. The facility is always clean and never too crowded. I wish they were open later on weekends but I usually use that time to apply copious amounts of bronzer. Welp, time carbo load. Today is traps day.

Looks nice but the fee is a little to much. 100 to register and 62 cash monthly fee. It cheaper at planet fitness

Clean, friendly, helpful staff, nice amenities. Trainers know their stuff.

Management is super-helpful, the people are friendly and the equipment is obviously well maintained. Its the perfect spot to workout, grab a shower and head back to work for me. A friendly atmosphere but when you put your head down to do the work, no one bothers you. I love it.

I bought a Groupon for 40% off for a one month membership, and I got to tell you I’m soo happy i did! I love this place!! It’s never packed, it’s peaceful, clean and the staff there are very nice. I can be at The J Fitness for hours, it almost feels like you are working out at home It’s such a comfortable facility. Facing the fact I can’t afford the monthly membership, It deeply saddens me when my 1 month is up I won’t be able to go back. I finally found a gym I feel comfortable in and finally not being so hung up on anyone judging me. I almost wish I can at least have one more month for the Groupon price. But Needless to say I will be enjoying the 3 weeks I have left.
