Such a great place to have fun with friends/family.

We went to Blue Ox Axe Throwing as a small group for something different. The staff were helpful and friendly, the place was very clean and has a fun atmosphere. We had a great time and I highly recommend it to others who are looking to get out and do something different during the pandemic.

This place is awesome! The guys were very personable, they changed our board as soon as we asked and they played great music! We will be back!

A good large venue and well maintained, but Im not sure if it was the night we went or the staff on duty but there were definite concerns with the operation of the place in my opinion.The instruction was almost nonexistent for first timers and I saw a ton of safety issues from other groups due to safety briefings not being thorough. Examples of this would be customers throwing far back and almost outside of the cage, people walking up to grab axes off the block while others are getting ready to throw, and not enough clearance between the thrower and bystanders. Being that Ive thrown before, I was able to show my group the basics. A couple of our members didnt get any instruction until someone called staff over and asked him specifically. We were kind of left to our own devices.The axes could have used some TLC as well. One of our axes definitely needed to be rewrapped or the facility could use a new one.Compared to other places I have been previously, Blue Ox did not hit that same level of customer experience. The facility is great, but staff wasnt too attentive. All in all, it was a fun time - I definitely cannot knock that as throwing axes is always an enjoyable experience. In hindsight I just saw some of the issues that I thought I should voice in case you are thinking about going.My verdict: GO because its a fun place, just be aware that you are signing a waiver for a reason and keep your eyes open at all times for your own safety.

Awesome experience! We were a big group of 16 and we had a blast! Staff was great & really friendly . Definitely worth the money especially if youre going with a fun group pf people. They have other games you can play if youre not throwing. Love that its BYOB and you can bring your own food.

Such a great venue. The staff were helpful in teaching us how to not kill ourselves and it was BYOB which was lovely can’t wait to return!

Went with my son. Was less intimidating for him than darts. He is planning on returning with his friends. Now to convince my wife.
