It was really fun while it lasted. Comfy seats and great prices (plus, no one went there, so the place was always empty!) Sadly, as of Martin Luther King Day (Jan 20, 2020), the Showcase Cinema is now closed for business. Had fun and made memories.

This is my go to place for Indian movies from Stamford -not a fancy place with lot of food options. There is nothing much around apart from the building complex but parking has never been a problem. tickets are also cheaper when compared to other places around Stamford towards NYC.

Gonna miss this place I know there is a theater down the street in the next town over but I like this one much better

I like that theatre! Its pretty quiet over that end if town theres plenty of parking ( lot across the street and on side of the building) the bathrooms were spotless and all seemed to be in working order- the one I used was so Im sure the others were also. People seem to forget that location exists Im gonna go to that one more often

Been there 1 time and will be going again. The seats recline and it has a tray attached to it. More food options they even have liquor. I also saw they have movie and mimosa days throughout the week. Big parking lot. Big theater in general.

Finally came back to try these theaters after usually going to Trumbull for many years and it was a waste and dissatisfaction. The seats were still old and dusty while having no elbow room at all. The food prices were OUTRAGEOUS!! Paid 16$ for a REGULAR size popcorn and REGULAR size drink. Definitely will never go here again!! So so so never recommend this place to ANYONE!! again 16$ for regular size popcorn and drink!!!! Close and demolish this place!! Only reason I didnt give them 1 star is because they have alot of parking.

Nice staff. Left my purse in the theater was able to get back after I got home and realized I couldnt find it. The staff was very helpful

Ive been going to this theatre for years, and its one of my favorites!!!!Always a pleasant experience and there are always great movies showing there. Its a beautiful theatre with plenty of parking located in the Black Rock area. Safe neighborhood and conveniently located makes it a favorite.

Its pretty much like walking into my childhood, Ive been coming here for years and its got everything a movie theater needs and it still has the old fashioned carpet and seats.

We went here because we were in the area. I would say its just about okay. The people were nice and friendly but the place wasnt great. There was a funky smell maybe because of old rug or not proper cleaning, I dont know.

I love the movie theater for being clean, nearby, and its customer service. If you go early in the day the concession stand prices are better than later but still in the all, always Pleasant. The only criticism that I have is that I am super picky when it comes to details. Some screens and audio needs to be updated. Projectors are 4K, would be nice to have the whole package. Still in all, the experience is always 5 stars.

Reasonable prices, try day showtimes which are cheaper than night shows. If you but pop corn tub, you may refill without paying extra money. If you buy pop corn cups you have to pay for each cup. This cinema also play indian movies.

They need a big big upgrade... Need new chairs, food and ppl. Add an IMAX or something, live up....

Within walking distance of Fairfield Metro station, very short distance from the highway, very quiet and nice neighborhood and there is entertainment around the area. Yes! They do have plenty of parking safe a secure. I was able to purchase my tickets in less than five minutes, and no anti social disturbing the atmosphere.

I went to watch a Bollywood movie and the tickets were expensive for the kind of inferior service they provide. The seats were uncomfortable and the theatre smelled of piss.

Theater very clean, staff courteous, movie excellent, prices at concession ..... Outrageous!!!!!

Sound quality was bad. There was this electric noise from the speaker throughout the movie. It was very annoying. And there was no proper air conditioning. Go here only if you have no other choice.

I post reviews just in worst cases.I was there for a Movie. I felt like I was seating on plain ground. Sound system was extremely bad. Also, screen brightness was sucks. And now the worst part- very congested seats

The theatre is the older type, but the seats were not uncomfortable. The theatre was reasonably clean and the staff were friendly. The hearing assistive headsets worked.

Today we had one of our granddaughters who is approaching her 5th birthday. We took her to see Incredibles 2, as we have her today for 12+ hours. I recommend all children to see it, and must confess that my wife and I both enjoyed it as well. The theater is comfortable without being overwhelming, and although there were many children there, they were quiet and well behaved. An enjoyable outing.

A simple theatre but there are always seats and quiet. The way a movie theatre is supposed to be.

My wife and I went to see Black Panther in 3D and mid way thru the movie froze!! They didnt have it playing anymore that day in 3D so now we have to go back. Really hoping this next experience is better or its Bow tie from now on.

Be prepared to go back in time and not in a good way. While the projectors and sound are good the seating is not. Tough going anywhere without stadium seating. Not just for people sitting in front of you but also comfort. Im used to concessions being overpriced but their candy is just ridiculous. About half the size of other theaters.

Old school theater with classic seats and a smallish screen. Matinee prices were much higher than I expected given the overall environment.

Great theater with great people, the food is still quite expensive as movie theaters are but not super bad, the environment is just as you would like a movie theater to be and I have visited quite a few times

Staff are really friendly, but the theater is outdated. Seats are uncomfortable and sound quality is the worst of all. I would not recommend this theater for any movie with even slightest of visual effects. Good for documentaries as you will be the only one watching.

Small town theatre. Most convenient to our location for the weekend. Due to the automated ticket machine; we were able to avoid the line and get our tickets quickly. We stopped for snacks before going into our movie, (Mountain btwn us). The young man who took our order was friendly. Small theatre rooms were cozy enough. With the exception of the loud air condition that came on in the middle of the film(it was freezing!), we had a fair experience.

The employees said me any my friends looked shady because we used the bathroom and they claimed they were trying to switch theatres they also wouldn’t let my two friends who were watching a different movie leave the theatre because they “looked shady” and they thought they were up to something

Owner is a great guy and is responsive to issues. The theater is a bit dated but has all the amenities and a great lineup for movies.

I could hear the movie next to me through the wall over my movie, drug addicts came into my movie (at 4 pm) shouting and flashing their phone flashlights, the entrance out of the parking garage literally smells like a zoo because of the puddles of uncleared piss.This place is horrible, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. This place has clearly gotten worse. The people who work here are nice but the environment/neighborhood are horrible.

I love this theater so much. One of the best theaters around here but too bad its so underrated. The speaker system in here is top notch and the projector to screen quality is good. Auditorium 12 where I have a problem with because I went in there both time for showings. I saw Jumanji and Black Panther, the right side of the screen is dirty. You can see it in the bright background, and speakers are low as well. Other than that I love this theater, and the employees are great!Update: Im going to miss this place. It was fun while lasted. Go see the movies before the door closes for good. Jan 20th is the last day.

Drove 45 minutes with 6 people to watch a movie produced in my hometown, and bc they closed their register 15 minutes early they did not allow us to purchase tickets....however, said we could buy concessions.I am a very understanding individual, however, the guy that broke the bad news didnt even go to a manager to ask what could be done. Bad customer service. Never again. Avoid this movie theater.

Ive been to this Cinema several times. It is a decently sized theatre with about 10 screens. It airs both English and Indian movies. Seating is good except for the last row. Never bother ordering anything other than popcorn over here, especially Fries. We faced this twice, wherein we were adviced to wait for 8 minutes for the fries, and after 8 mins, when we reminded them, they went in and took the fries out of the freezer, and told us that we needed to wait for 8 more minutes. This happened not once, but Twice!!! There is no first come first serve concept over here as I saw people ordering after me getting their order. If the management is reading this, please bring in some numbering system to handle orders, especially Fries.

The staff is polite and helpful. Seats are comfortable (be advised that Im not tall so it may be a different experience for a tall person).

I nice clean theater on the Bridgeport/ Fairfield line. The snacks are expensive so you may want to pack your own. BJs is next door so you can buy snacks in bulk for the same price as the theater charges. There is a covered parking garage so its great in the snow and rain.
