Great comedy club, with top acts. Ive been here 3 times (the last time was yesterday with Mark Normand-great show)and will definitely go again. Ive always had good experiences, barring a heckler at each show, but that is somewhat expected at a comedy show. Parking is easy and right beside the venue.The food was decent; what one would expect from a comedy club, and the service has always been good and warm. As a comedy nerd Im so glad that this place is nearby, and contributing to a somewhat depressed area. I also really hope it helps Bridgeport improve, and develop as well.

Always love going to the Stress Factory for some great laughs.I have seen some great comedians & really enjoy the comedians & their warm up acts. Some of the greats Ive seen Vic DiBitteto 3x ,Jim Breuer, Andrew Dice Clay, The Hodge Twins,Eric Tartaglione, Buddy Fitzpatrick, Alyssa Goggi and several others.The servers are very attentive & friendly. They work hard and earn their tips!!Vinnie Brand is Making Comedy Great Again right in the safe downtown area of Bridgeport.Thankyou everyone.

The Stress Factory is open for business. Easily accessible, clean, and the tables are spaced out well. The staff are know what theyre doing. Food and drinks came out quick after ordering. Theyre doing a a great job of following all of the guidelines for this crazy life were all living in right now. Masks have to be worn every where except for when youre at your table. No one is stopping you from wearing it while youre there if you want to.

My First Visit.. Had all The Home Team Flavor I would expect. Ambience, Style and good taste. The Kitchen Prepared The Best Hawaiian Pizza on The Planet. My compliments to The Chef.

Had a good time. Tables were decently spaced out and you only sit with your party, waiters wore their masks whole time made you comfortable. Had two obnoxious guys in the crowd that were clearly drunk but they were spoken too which I appreciated otherwise Ida likely left if they kept interrupting. Food was not bad, what youd expect for a comedy show. Main comedian could have been a little funnier in my opinion, decent laughs here and there but needed more variety on his material, no fault to the venue. Overall had a great night and will be back.

First time visiting this comedy club in Bridgeport as were faithful to the Funny Bone which is closer to home, thank goodness for the best waiter MIYRA who helped fixed an error with our drinks I have to shout her out for going above and beyond, good buffalo wings and amaretto sour #1 MICHAEL BLACKSON made the tears fall!! Social distancing was followed i really enjoyed the show

The place is easy to get to from Danbury. Parking is not a problem. The facility is neat, clean.. people are nice. The comedians were good, 3 comedians. Attended 7:30pm show on Sat., 1/4/2020...buffet dinner had been canceled without prior notice... so we arrived expecting dinner, but offered to either eat at a local restaurant or wait til we are seated and order off menu... which is considerably more $ than the buffet we prepaid. We did receive a credit which was applied towards our dinner (fair at best) but still spent more out of pocket than expected. I will go back... but not to eat. MORAL: Go, great shows...Just dont buy the buffet dinner option as there is no forewarning it has been canceled! Eat before you go.

Having read so many reviews about this comedy club and frequenting ones in NYC often, we were looking forward to attending a show at this establishment. We purchased 2 tickets to attend “Superstar Kevin Nealon’s” show for May 9th, 2020 to celebrate a birthday with a group of friends. Sadly, given COVID-19, everyone was quarantined and businesses were closed including this one; therefore, it didn’t happen. Once restrictions were lifted, we were hoping to either get a refund or to use our already paid for tickets to a different show.I have made several attempts (via emails and numerous voicemail messages) to find out whether we would be refunded our tickets to the show, or if we would be allowed to use them for a future show. Still, to date, NO RESPONSES. With this level of customer service, doubting the preview customer reviews were legitimate. Will definitely NOT be recommending this establishment to any of our family, friends or colleagues.

Such an amazing venue. The staff is great and the intimacy of the shows is fabulous. Highly recommend!

So we went tonight! Absolute worst experience! First off, one waitress said she would be right with us, 20 min later no one! Then when I had made a comment to my friends about it would be nice to have a drink. Another waitress said she will help us. Well all of a sudden the two waitress were fighting at our table about who is taking care of us. Then we are having a good time and laughs and apparently our laughing was to loud. Im sorry but the point in coming to a comedy club was to have a good time. I didnt know you were suppose to have a volume on your laugh. Well needless to say $80 worth of tickets then a $100 drinking tab was unbelievable to get kicked out. We came out to have a good time! I would have to say the only person in that place was worth to come back to see was Door Girl . If you are looking to having a good time and some serious laughs DO NOT COME HERE! THERE IS PROBABLY BETTER PLACES OUT THERE!

This place is great! Great ambiance, entertainment, and food! The owner, Vinnie, is a great, funny guy and really wants the place to succeed. He brings in first rate talent from around the country to perform and even gets on stage himself from time to time. The food and drinks taste great, but can get a little expensive. Nothing out of the ordinary for a comedy club or bar, though. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you like to laugh and want to have a great time. Ive been here multiple times and have always had a blast.

Great comedy venue. The seating and service was excellent. You can catch some high profile acts here and also some smaller shows. For the smaller no names you really do t need to worry about getting there early to get a good seat (not the front row). You can park in the fenced lot next to Ralph and Rich s and its safe. Being in Bridgeport can turn people off but this area is safe.

I saw Sinbad tonight and he was absolutely amazing!!! Hes as funny as ever! And the location and set up was great. Cant wait to go to another show here! Food was pretty good but I wasnt here for fine dining. They could do better with the drinks though, kinda cheap with the alcohol.

Just went to see Damon Wayne’s Jr last night and had a great time. Owner and staff do a great job trying to get everyone through as quick as possible while putting on two shows back to back. Awesome venue as I been to quite a few I love stand up and what they do. Damon Wayans Jr was dope as well as the entire line up. Hopefully I’m still in town for Bill Bellamy in a couple weeks...so I could go back.

Set in a picturesque part of the city this comedy club was Majestic with its interior and friendly with its staff! We were met with charming and funny faces. Our seating was in front of the stage and we had the pleasure of interacting with the comedians during their set. The turkey and swiss sandwich that I ate was absolutely delicious! The wine selection and desserts were vest. My husband and I enjoyed two deserts and boy were they warm, gooey and satisfying! I am definitely going to be looking to come here again.

Great seating setup and location: Vinnie the host was perfect and the wait staff wonderful and friendly!The show was hilarious with John Crist and Mike Goodwin. VIP seating service and drinks are the way-to-go!Harlan Haus next door is also a perfect addition to your night at the comedy club.This place is the new destination must-see for Bridgeport and surrounding area.

Great comedy venue with great seating all around. The owner strives to make it an awesome time and we enjoyed ourselves the last time we were there. Reasonably priced drinks and food as well. They are bringing good talent into the club, which makes it an enjoyable time overall. Comedy is a great way to bring people together and Vinnie lets everyone know that its all about having a good time and not getting offended. Please remember that when going to this type of venue: you are there to laugh and have a good time! This place is a real gem and I cant wait to go back!

I want so much to give a higher rating..... The show was great. Unfortunately, we had to ask the manager, or the guy who seemed to be running the operations, to get a waitress to serve us. Not once, but probably more like 5 or 6 times. Same response - he was working on it. Tables around us that were empty, got service quickly. Not sure what the problem was, other than not enough help. We finally flagged down a waitress and she apologized and took our order even though she was not assigned to our table/area. I am willing to give this venue another shot because I think it is a great addition to our area. But.........I am sorry to have to say that they need to get their act together. The potential for this place is tremendous.

Great venue. Every seat has a nice vantage point. Staff is very friendly and funny! Its a new space, but they get good acts. We saw Carlos Mencia there! Okay drinks and food.

The only real place left, honest place left. Social dialogue that warms the soul. Hot dog, beer, and a comedy show for $50. Ten minutes from home. Comedy is hard work and both comedians were funny and unafraid. Great classical space and stage where you could hear every word.

This is a really great Comedy Venue.They do a really great job. The staff is all very friendly.And the food! This is not your typical Bar Food Fare. Some of the best Empanadas around.This was our third visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves every time.

Guest should not have to stand so long before the show. Need an improved reception area. Food could be served much hotter and in timely manner. Management needs to increase environmental expectations. Nice venue to watch a show.

This is a fairly small venue which offers a nice intimate vibe. If youre reluctant to venture into Bridgeport at night, no need to worry. The club is located in a nice area with a secure parking garage just down the street. My only complaint might be the clubs sound system. Depending on how close the talent held the mic to their mouth, sometimes it was difficult to understand what they were saying. Kinda muddy/boomy. Despite that we had a great time.

I was there last night for Vic Dibitetto and it was also our first time at the club. The venue is very nice and the whole show including the owner were all very good. The server was very nice, but service was very slow. Our burgers were good but we had to wait over an hour. I bought these tickets back in August and they were VIP tickets for $50 each. Other than a table right in front of the stage, I am not sure what VIP did for us? We will go back but will eat first and buy the regular priced tickets.

I would probably be nicer and give the Bpt Stress Factory a 4.5 stars but. . . I enjoyed the show - Craig Robinson and Todd Rexx, specifically. The atmosphere was lovely and the crowd was alright. BIG shout-out to Vinnie Brand for taking a chance on our poor city. Yes, sorry Craig but there isnt anything to do in the Port. One more thing, the wings were fiyah and the staff was great too! Overall great experience.

This is a great addition to a city that gets it.

Obviously depends on the lineup but otherwise the room is nice. My issue is drink service (slow to put it midly), and their existing policy (you wait to close tabs until the end, and get a ticket to hand to a doorman to show that youve paid) it makes leaving extra longer and behind annoying. I understand to an extent this is to make sure everyone stays to respect the performer but youre telling me I cant leave if I want to? Get a gripe its ment to be a comedy show not a hostage situation.

Great talent.... Went for Marlon Wayans... HYSTERICAL. Food was good, at best (we had the burger). Waiter service was okay. They forgot about our food until I flagged him down. Never checked to see if we needed anything else (when we did!), & messed up drink order. Had a Vickis coffee, which was delicious, other drinks I had were good. The other ladies we sat with mentioned theirs were watered down.Their ordering service is done through wrist-tablets... which is great for them to be up on the times but the lights from them are SO BRIGHT that it was distracting during the show.Wed go back but would probably be better to eat elsewhere beforehand.

Reasonable prices for tickets and food/drink items. Solid lineup of comedians. Have to go to Manhattan if you eant better.

Great club with top notch names. Food was okay, and service was good. The comedy was excellent, the venue was outstanding, with great views and good sound system which made the evening really great. Parking is a bit tricky if youre not familiar with the area, so be advised. Otherwise, expect a perfect evening with your date or a large group!

Was a really good time but I recommend eating beforehand... everything looked great but my burger was an absolute salt bomb. Maybe I just caught the chef on a bad night though.

Went here for a John Crist show and had such a great night! The owner, Vinnie, is so likeable and funny himself, and he has such a sweet staff. No complaints.

Owner seems to truly want to bring a great experience to this area in Bridgeport which I greatly appreciate. He is also very concerned with happy customers and that is great to see. We will be back.

Great show, but staff wasnt friendly, and we had the largest party there and half the table got their food, the other half waited an hour and a half and their food was cold. The table assigned was for a party of 6 we had 10 so some people didnt have a table to eat from. Brad Williams Rocks though, third time seeing him and always funny!

Been here a few times for some great shows (Rich Vos - twice, Damon Wayans etc... Decently priced. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Was in the crowd for the show where the comedian unprofessionally walked off before taking the stage ( will refrain from naming the comic). The owner was beyond apologetic and did everything he possibly could to salvage the evening by even taking the stage himself putting on a great show last minute. The lack of 5 stars would probably be the fact that any food you order can not be altered at all (seeing as it comes from the restaurant next door) however I believe Harlan Haus was just purchased by the owners wife so I can’t wait to see what changes are made. I often check to see what comics are coming and take any chance I get to return. Also- not a bad seat in the house!

We took my brother here for his birthday. We enjoyed ourselves very much!! Even though the place was packed, the wait staff was working hard to serve everyone quickly and were very attentive. Great prices on the food and drinks. Overall nice experience. We will definitely come back for more shows. It was nice not to have to travel to NYC for a great show!!!!

Good experience tonight at the new local comedy club. Had a fun time laughing along to Eleanor and Dice.! My party had a fair share of food and drinks. Everything was punctual and perfect. Shout out to Miles, our server, he was polite, courteous and friendly. Will look forward to seeing Vinnie and other comedians in the future.

What a great venue! Just a short drive from any surrounding town. Located in an old bank, theyve done a wonderful job renovating this and turning it into a first-class comedy club. Ive been to over a dozen shows here in recent months and have never been disappointed. At just a fraction of the cost of going into New York, I would definitely recommend The Stress Factory for a fun and funny date night or night out with friends. Safe well lit, free parking and up-and-coming or well-known comics at a fraction of the cost of many other comedy clubs. What are you waiting for? Check this out and have a few laughs. Laughter IS the best medicine!

Great show, staff was wonderful, establishment was clean. Biggest issue was the food. I spent $12 for the worst veggie burger of my entire life, it was the consistency of baby vomit. Seating was extremely tight, no leg space and I was elbow to elbow with the person sitting at the table next to me.

This was my third time at the stress factory. Top notch comics. The last time was Marlon Wayans, this time Eddie Griffin. Prices are also decent for top notch performance. As per my wife the drinks were watered down.

Responding to the owners comment: you could earn that 5th star by eliminating that weird round-up before the show, waiting like cattle and holding a numbered ticket, not knowing what is going on and staff not explaining anything to the people coming in under the marquis just why we had to go 2 doors down to be gathered to go back in again. In random groups.

I saw the new billboards, and found out a Bob & Tom show regular (Greg Hahn) was going to be in town. Went to a 7:30 show, it was not packed like sardines. I loved that. I had a Giant Bavarian Pretzel, pretty sure they get them from the nice German restaurant next door. All in All, it was a great show. Nice staff. Greg Hahn was awesome.

Ive been here about 8 times. Its my favorite place to go because I always have a good time. Its a small place so you always have a good view of the comic and they have some awesome people. I 110% recommend this place. They have food and drinks and its really the best for date night, nothing beats this.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. Greeted by a sweet hostess and escorted to a seat. Prices of food were great and the food was surprisingly good from our expectation!There were a few reasons I did not give 5 stars. First was that beware, you may have to sit at a table with strangers! Not that this is bad, but not everyone gets their own table. Also, when we came in, they seated us at a table, but we wanted the one next to it. They said either way, wed have to sit with someone, fine, but for the awkward turning of my necks sake, let me sit at the one next to it. Plus, as a first-come, first-serve establishment, I shouldve been able to choose my seat, no questions asked. We did end up moving ourselves. Secondly, the kitchen was utterly slow. I had to ask for a water THREE times and it came... an hour later. Our app also came out with our food... an hour later after ordering. 2 fried empanadas that take a few seconds to drop in the deep fryer, should not be coming out at the same time as our main course burgers. Lastly, at the end of the night, the show finished, lights came on and then we had to wait... and wait... and wait... for the server to make her way table by table for each group to pay their bills. There has got to be a better solution to this! I wouldve much rather been tapped on the shoulder during the performance to swipe my card then to wait 30 minutes, post-show on a week day to get out of there.I would definitely return but now I am more aware of what Im getting myself into.

Great place to see stand up , service is always really good and I havent seen a bad act. The taplist could use an improvement but I am also kinda picky with my beer selections.

Had a very good time at the Stress Factory-Again! Wonderful staff, attentive waiters. Very well organized in getting people seated and comfortable before the show. Getting there early is key to best seats. Great beer selection from local area breweries! Food is simple and moderatly priced. Overall very accommodating, loved the show! Hilarious performance (Michele Wolf). Will always recommend this place to everyone visiting the city!

The act was great except that the two folks before the main actor was not even on the ticket . We paid to see he main actor and not these other two that where not even said to be on the ticket.1st act, 2nd act then back to the 1st again and then the final act that we came to see. He was up there for maybe 30 mins. 2nd best part was free photos with him.The biggest reason for the 3 stars is also that you have to have a 2 item minimum to buy there and well everything here is quite pricey.Tickets have a weird 8 dollar surcharge on them and then you are forced to buy something at this place. I found out about this after I bot the tickets as it did not state it during the sale .

Its a comfortable setting. The staff is really nice and the place is clean. I had a great time when I went.

Great venue, you can get a great seat no matter where they seat you. But buyer beware on the “VIP”. You won’t get the champagne and strawberries (not like I wanted them anyways) but two shows, same results. You’ll wait forever to see a waiter, and then you’ll get your food when the shows about 1.5hr in, while everyone else in another section got there’s during the opening act. Such a shame. They have a great venue, get great acts, but you cant get food to save your life, or any drinks. Btw, don’t bother standing in line if you are VIP, you can go right to the door. They fail to tell you that too. Take an Uber there. Don’t try to find parking.

We love this place. Food is decent - what you would expect. Comics are almost always outstanding. Never a dull evening at the Stress Factory. Just leave your cranky, uptight self at home and have some fun!

My husband and I had a great time and lots of laughs. I really liked the stage and table setup. It was easy to see the comics without being cramped. The staff were great as well.

Started off with the jerk chicken empanadas and then the Park City sandwich. Everything was perfectly tasty. Finished it off with a Titos with a splash of Sprite with a spot-on mix, everything was just great!

Best place to see live comics! The food is terrific, drinks are average & always a great vibe. I like that they bring top notch A-list comics. Great place to go for a night out of entertainment with friends and family !

Enjoyable comedy show. Only wish I asked the price before ordering a a double Patron on ice. I could have bought an entire bottle of Skyy vodka for the same price.

Good comedians in rotation, but drinks are absurdly expensive, they have a 2 drink minimum, and they will threaten to throw you out for taking your phone out to respond to a simple text from a friend, even if youre against the back wall and very clearly not taking photos or recording a video. While I understand these restrictions, it would be nice of them to relax a little. My phone was out for all of about 20 seconds and the guy got across the club to chastise me in that time...

Eddie Griffin was hilarious tonight. Only thing I didnt like was the two item minimum. Funny Bone doesnt do that.
