Fun for the whole family (even if I cant skate good). Also its fun watching their hockey league games! Decent admission price, skate rentals and concession stand.

I go to practice here regularly and i love the type of ice they have. Highly recommend for anyones skating and hockey needs.

A gem for the Brewer Bangor area. Watching hockey never gets old. The place is cold so dress warm! The also have a skating schedule for community skating.

As a Texan boi skating was awesome and I skate fast and eat ice.

Old ice rink that is freezing inside, bring your hat and mittens. The warming room is not very warm and the snack area doesn’t have a lot to chose from (the coffee was terrible). There is plenty of parking so that is a plus.

Public address system needs attention.

Good place to go skate, they have great customer service, and can sharpen skates fast and cheap. However dont expect other parents to tell there kids to slowdown on the ice. Was almost crashed into multiple times. No discipline from the parents. If you bring your children stay towards the middle and keep a close eye. Would be more stars if people could control there kids!!

Since the new owners took over in October of 2013, a world of difference! The place is clean, new tiles (in the bathrooms and on the ceilings) and more changes on the way...with heat! What a difference a few months make and from what I hear, it is only going to get better. Check out all the changes on the Penobscot Ice Arena facebook page. By the time the renovations are complete, going to be one of the nicer rinks around.

The ice is some of the best around. The locker rooms are the cleanest and most comfortable, plus the showers are even tiled.
