I played both the Olympic and Cascade courses recently. Both courses are in phenomenal shape. The greens are deceptively fast and tough to read. The Olympic course is a little tougher, but both courses are very enjoyable to play and give you more than your fair share of challenges. Speed of play is good, as we finished our last round in a little over 4hrs. Probably one of the best values for your money.

6.5 hours to play on Olympic! No marshal, no help at all from pro-shop staff, and no response from any management staff. I never have seen 4 groups on a par 4 backed up with not a care from the pro-shop. I have worked in the golf industry, so this made things even more frustrating. I have waited 3 weeks to post this review. I have several emails and a couple phone calls into the golf operations manager to date. Our golf group has lost all respect for this place. They could care less about you or the golf experience, they just want your money.

Gold Mountain Golf Course is one of the best golf courses in all of Washington. Ive played the Olympic course (two courses, Cascade and Olympic) and the fairways are very well kept, the greens are cut short and are firm, and each hole provides a different challenge with a beautiful view. Pro shop is well stocked and employees are very respectful and courteous. Pace of play is kept pretty well on average, and overall I highly reccomend this course. You will have a great time.

Its rated appropriately, worth the drive and a good challenge outside of town - a 36-hole golf oasis in the northwoods. Olympic is the better course, but both are tough and certainly more fun than your local courses, plenty of elevation and different hole layouts. If you play early in the morning the rough will be wet and nasty, so pick your shots off the tee. I prefer to play Cascade in the morning as a warm-up and then test my skills on Olympic once the course dries out, so call ahead and try to schedule accordingly! Either way, the staff is great, the merch is plentiful, and the courses are great. Cascade is about $40 cheaper so those tee times go faster. Lastly, saw 11 deer during my morning round, one fox. The deer only slightly outnumbered the amount of trees I messed with

The course is very nice..green rolling true but for some reason the pace of play was very slow (Wednesday). At times 4 groups on a hole, 1 on the grean, 1 in the fairway and 2 waiting to tee off. Marshalls needs to do more to move slow groups along.

One of the prettiest well cared for courses that I have ever played. Greens are immaculate. Rolling hills, great shotmaking course yet surprisingly forgiving. Fees are cheap too, easily a $200+ fee course in SoCal. A definite must play!! Oh, and the carts got some zoom zoom juice. I wouldnt recommend walking unless you have strong legs and good stamina.

Amazing course, what a showcase for the Pacific Northwest! Every detail is meticulously maintained. Take your pick of the 2 courses, the setting feels as if it were carved directly from the wilderness.Beautiful tree-lined foothills carpet the backdrop and peek-a-boo views of the snow-capped Olympic Mountain Range can be found in various locations throughout the course. Not a house in sight. The fairways are long and wide with a variety of dramatic elevation changes. All tapering to hidden green locations well protected with deep bunkers and occasional water hazards. This is a must play for visitors and locals alike.

Booked a Friday morning tee time. Played the Olympic course and it was in great shape. Here was the issue...When we pulled up to the course and went to the bag drop, I got out of the car and opened the back of the SUV. The cart boys were just sitting there and watched me wrangle the three bags out of the car...ok fine. Went and parked and came back to check in which was fine. Get my cart slip for two carts and return to the cart boy. He says “take number 16 and 17” and proceeds to sit there and watch me and my wife carry the bags from the drop to the carts. I tip well, there would be no tip given today. There were no scorecards in the carts. Just lacking a basic spirit of service that you get at nice courses. Another issue was the fact that there were two fivesomes in front of us that were not keeping pace. Many in those groups were walking. I love Gold Mountain and I play it whenever I come home, this last experience would make me consider maybe skipping it next time.

Gold Mountain Golf Club was our wedding venue for our 4/14 wedding. It was amazing, I couldnt have asked for a better day. Jesse did a great job of walking us through the process, and answering all of our questions. On our wedding day everything was already set up when I arrived with my maid of honor and parents. The day of event coordinator was SO helpful. She even loaned me her jacket so I didnt get cold/wet traveling to the woods ceremony (we kept our ceremony outside, and bought tents). Gold Mountain also worked my vendors on set up, etc. so I could just focus on getting ready and spending time with my friends and family. They even have napkins with a fold and color of your choice at every seat at the reception. I could not recommend this venue more for being reasonably priced, incredibly helpful, and going above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

Course was great. We played Salish Cliffs the day before and while I would prefer Salish to Gold, I would gladly play Gold again. Although that opinion is probably impacted by the below. Clubhouse staff was also very good.So why a two? The Course Marshall refused to Marshall group directly ahead of us. He out right said that everyone is hear to have a good time. So he let one group slow up everyone else. At the first hole we were told the expect pace was 2:05 for the front nine, we ended up at 2:40. There was a hole gap after three holes. The group ahead of us was the last of three golfing together. The first two groups had actually all ordered and finished their lunches by the time they showed up at the end of the round.Played morning of July 18th.
