Visited this shop on a day trip to Bratt at Christmas time. They had lots of great Christmas ornaments as well as a collection of other neat items--my favorite being their collection of Wire Fox Terrier goodies (keychains, mugs, even bookends); lots of other dog breeds available too but WFTs are dear to my heart. Well worth a look if youre in downtown Brattleboro.

My favorite store in downtown Brattleboro! Penelope is an absolute delight, and her products span from beautiful jewelry, shawls, and hats to home goods like pillows and blankets to miscellaneous fun things like cute cards and gifts. I especially love her soaps, English candy, coloring books, and posters. Great place to stop in for gifts and a chat!

This store is therapy. I just go to this store to be surrounded by beautiful quirky, happy things. Penelopes curation of this yummy collection of affordable, classy, unusual gifts and treasures makes me look forward to holiday shopping. I always just end up buying stuff for me! Seriously if youre going to shop Main Street Bratt make sure this is at the top of your list. Penny always makes it fun too.

I love Penelope Wurr! A true example of what makes Brattleboro wonderful. I am always greeted kindly when I go in by the gracious staff and Im always so enchanted by the beautiful gifts, antiques and unique nic nacs.

I absolutely love Penelopes shop and Im embarrassed to share how much time I spend there. But how can I not?! Its incredible and its a must-visit if you are in Brattleboro!Her family-run shop is exquisitely curated, has an incredible range of wonderful British & European gifts, food items, home goods, extraordinary jewelry, and Penelopes own fine contemporary glasswares. Her staff are gracious, very helpful (they are so generous with their time!), and I am always cordially welcomed into Penelopes shop. Every time I visit her store, I discover some new British food item, find a beautiful unique antique, or just find that perfect gift card I was looking for. Also, this store has wonderful gifts for men which is so rare to find nowadays - I own far too many of the dress ties she sells.Penelope, the shop owner, clearly has poured time, energy and love into this one-of-a-kind boutique shop that has become a mainstay of Brattleboro, VT.
