We have nothing but great things to say about this place. Over the last three years or so, they have done spectacular work. Topsides, rigging, regular maintenance, you name it. A great crew.

We purchased an old Marine Trader Trawler through a private sale at the Branford location...Brewer, Bruce and Johnson in early 2017. We worked with the office manager, Bruce Kruyla and his assistant, Brian Dombowski in order to commission the boat for her trip to her home port in Eliot, Maine. We were charged for several thousands of dollars for work that was not performed and for parts that were not installed. I thought that by working with a large marina that the honesty, integrity, and transparency would be evident but it was not. I have compiled all of the charges from June of 2017 through July 2018 and reviewed them with our boat mechanic, IRS enrolled agent, lawyer, and accountant in order to reach out to James Phyfe to ask for a meeting to discuss my request for a refund for all of the work that was not performed. We are a hard working couple who has been married for over 32 years, been in business for over 31 years, raised four adult children and are currently paying to put our last child through college and to pay college loans. To be charged like this for work that was not done is at the very least outrageous...Please contact me if you would like to discuss this as I have all of the documents to support these statements. I am hoping I will be able to update this initial posting with a favorable outcome that is fair, equitable, and honest.
