We did a few days of tent camping. It was really nice, and we pretty much had our pick of shady sites, of which there were many. The kids had a blast, and you could tell the campground was investing in the activities. They jumped on the big air pillow, played miniature golf, did tie dye, rode pedal cars, went to the pool, and a bunch of other things. The pool was well taken care of and had a zero entry ramp which is nice for the littles and parents who only need a little dip.One recommendation would be to maintain the pedal cars better. Some seats were very loose, and many protective fenders were gone revealing sharp metal edges which could scrape people.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We tented and this was our first stop of a few on a camping road trip. It was great to see the pool, mini golf, and jumping pillow open. The pool was not super clean, which was a bit concerning and the noise from the electrical lines overhead was pretty loud. But overall, that is our only dislikes. The staff was great, they were kind and helpful! Even with a bike issue we had! Good for families, tenting, cabins, or RVs!

The staff were super friendly. The grounds were clean and well kept. Love the pool and snack bar. Ordered multiple orders of nachos and cheese curds. The little shop has nearly everything one would need including coffee, hot cocoa/cappuccinos and slushies. So many activities to keep the kids entertained. Hoping to make this an annual stop.

I love visiting here. Im a local but they have a great selection of stuff to do, pool bikes, playground, golf cats, cabins of you dont Have a tent. Across the street from fireworks stand providing right time of the year. You will love it. And right off the interstate. As soon as the bridge gets done it will be a straight shot south for shopping in sioux falls 5 mins away.

The spots are too narrow. We had to move over because our slide out was too close to the neighbors fire pit. Then our awning was over our fire pit. Fire hazard in my opinion. Also, our other neighbors sewer hose was really close to us.The pool was nice. No lifeguards. But there were plenty of people to walk around and make sure you had your wrist band on. Overall, its expensive, lots of fees, I felt like theyre trying to squeeze as many people in there as possible. Our kids loved it though. I guess thats whats important.

We arrived late in the afternoon to stay one night. The young lady at the desk could not find our reservation so I pulled it up on my phone. Come to find out it was for the month prior. Another lady, i assume it was the manager, came over and changed the date in the system to get us in that night. She even helped us find the nearest Walmart! Great customer service and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay there. Highly recommend this campground!

Very good camping overral. Quiet at that time of the year, I went there at the beginning of May and I was almost alone. Restrooms are very clean and also included in the price so you don’t have to pay an extra. There is also a pool. Reasonable price. I recommand this camping if you’re traveling around there.

This place was our saving grace. We had plans to stay at a nearby KOA but it was too crowded to maneuver so we had to make an online reservation for Yogis at 1120pm. Obviously, at that time there was nobody in the office to help with check in, but the map at the registration office door was sufficient. We found our spot immediately and could pull right through with no issues. Lot was very level, no issues. Largest lot/grass area out of the three different parks we stayed at over the last week. With it being late at night, we didnt see any of the fun stuff until morning. Wow! Lots of character and fun stuff for the kids! My only regret is us not planning to spend more time there. We did get to do the jumpy pillow. Bummed we missed the flag rising in the morning, we slept in after the late check in. Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

We reserved a spot at a Yogi Bear Campground. Be aware you can reserve and pay for your site but upon arrival you can show up and be told your spot is no longer available because you weren’t told about an additional $10.00 fee that would assure you had your spot. Without knowing this they reserve the right to put you in the worst spot on the lot. They state it is the computers however the person in our spot had arrived maybe moments before us. We spent our gas to show up personally to confirm our spot and then we show up with our camper and they want us to camp by all the commotion and activities. One star for Yogi.

We were expecting Wow, we got Meh. Sites are very narrow. We parked as far over as we could and the fire ring was still only a few feet away from the RV so not useable. Very busy campground, lots of golf carts coming and going. Loose gravel sites. Bathroom/shower house was closed so we had to use the pool bathroom. Hot tub was shut down. Bouncy pad thing had a hole in it. We tried to get pizza at the little take-out but they had basically nothing left unless you wanted a hamburger pizza. (!?)Also, its right next to the interstate so theres a considerable amount of highway noise/lights.Overall wasnt impressed, definitely not worth the $75 a night.

Nice campground. But there is not only just a construction zone on I-90, there must be also one directly in the campground, because actually they drive through the campground. And they did not offer discounts on golf carts which they def should of with every thing besides the germ infested playground closed

This Jellystone location was excellent. I have come to love all of the Jellystone/Yogi Bear parks, and this one did not disappoint. Stayed 2 nights in August. Lots of activities for the kids. Every staff member I had contact with was great. Pretty expensive for camping but, like I said there are a lot of activities.Pool was pretty cold. Normally in August this is pretty welcome but I have a small little girl who gets quite chilled quick. This is typical and our respite is to just jump in the hot tub for a few minutes. We learned young kids arent allowed in the hot tub. Even with an adult. At a kids themed place. That was quite disappointing. That made the pool a no-go for us as well. Our spot was on the far north side. We didnt have much noise from close interstate though the spots are so close to each ither it was easy to have a conversation with your neighbor.Like I mentioned previously I have a young daughter and we made numerous trips to the bathroom. It was a long way. An additional bathhouse on the east side of the campground would be nice. Bathroom always seemed clean.

Review №46

Nice campground and clean bathrooms. That’s about the only two good things to say about this at this time.I called around 6:45 for a reservation and was told I didn’t need a reservation, just come in and pick a spot. That’s no problem. However, when I arrived a little after 8pm there was no map to direct me where I could go, which spots were 30 amp or what roads were one way to be able to pull in the pull thru properly and it was dark enough to not be able to see very clearly. Secondly, I went to the bathhouse closest to me and it was closed for the season. And lastly, there was not any mention on the phone of the road to the campground being closed and having to take detours. Or the fact that the hill going down towards the campground immediately turns into dirt. All of these would be fine, if there would have been communication about these things.I didn’t leave this review last night until after I spoke to the front and mentioned these things. The man stayed we leave you a map of you have a reservation, and when I suggested that they leave a map out regardless for those who show up after hours he seemed not to care. Really frustrating after driving all day and being exhausted.Hopefully they will have finished the construction before they reopen for the season.

Great campground, great staff, great pancakes! We stayed here on our way west and just needed a place to stay for the night. They have a smooth check-in process and show you to the site to get you settled in. There is enough space between sites but not a huge expanse. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Very family friendly (e.g. lots of kids) but they were well behaved. In the evening it was quiet and pleasant, no rowdiness. In the morning the pancakes were great and staff was attentive. If you have young kids, this place is great! A nice pool and hottub, a giant ground air trampoline that they (and adults) can jump on, mini golf and etc. The campsites are too close together for us. We like at least a little privacy if we are going to leave our home to go camping. The cabins are very nice and have some privacy. The little general store up front is helpful and offers a few things if you forgot them or want a treat. Staff is very kind. As previously mentioned, there is construction right outside of the campground. I understand it isnt the campgrounds control, so this isnt why I gave it a lower rating. When we arrived, the desk staff were not as friendly as I hoped. I was told to go out to my vehicle and wait for an escort. However, I wasnt asked what type of vehicle I was driving, so I offered that information to the desk attendant. To be honest, it looked like a tired version of a Jellystone Park. Some of the signage was cracking and there wasnt anything Ive experienced at other Jellystone Parks such as a kid hayride with the characters. The sites are VERY narrow and it is definitely designed to get in as many people as possible.

Be advised: this place is swarming with young kids. They dominate the pool at all times. And it is outrageously overpriced. $60.00 per night and I have to pay extra for wifi with a password? What a joke! The free wifi was inadequate. Customers also have to pay 100% up front when making a reservation instead of when they check-in. Incredibly tiny showers and the bathroom floor was always wet due to pool occupants. I will admit that the service was decent. Staff let me borrow a ladder and was generally responsive. They pick up your garbage if it is bagged and left at the end of your site. Grounds were well maintained and trees provided some shade. Too expensive for our blood so we will not return.

We had a great time here and the staff are amazing. Also cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a campground. I would have given 4 or 5 stars but the tent sites next to us had people up past midnight and were being loud and slamming doors. Both nights people were loud and up late. It was my sons 11th birthday and I hate to see a family friendly place have loud obnoxious people at night. They should enforce a quiet rule. Currently it is 11:15 and the tent next to us is slamming car doors and grilling. It is loud as well because of the interstate. I didn’t realize how loud until yesterday but that is understandable. I think i would visit here but not stay here due to the loud noise of the campers next to us. Overall though staff here can’t be beat. They were very nice the whole time.

As full time RVs we typically like Jellystone Parks, especially for our 9 year old. For the most part this is a pretty nice park. Being next to the highway it is definitely a little on the loud side, which is to be expected. However it is close to Sioux Falls which is very convenient.I was originally disappointed by the pricing (especially with most things closed) but after talking to the owner i understand that we received a discounted pre-session price. And that they were under a ton of snow just 14 days prior. Its to be expected that the pool was not open. He also was more than willing to turn on the bounce pad for our 9 year old, if only I had asked. Also when I booked the reservation, I called back to book an extra week, and was told that someone else had book our slot after us, and the other end site was taken. (Edit: after talking to the owner I want to make it clear that I did not give him a chance to help me find a solution to our site issues. He was more than willing to work out any site issues I had.)Edit: Up my review to 4 stars after talking to the owner. Looking forward to coming back when the park is in full swing and getting the full 5 star experience.
