Awesome park, I loved the old one better. The park is actually up to standards though so it is safer. A lot of low quality kids and people like to visit the skate park. Theyre usually very loud and can be extremely annoying, loud music, yelling, squealing tires, etc. But if you catch it at the right time it can be peaceful.

Its in a convenient location from where I live, and it alway seems to be a great atmosphere for my daughter and I unless the teenagers are there from the skate park, swearing and carrying on with all of their shenanigans!! Haha then I just tell her we need to go home anyways! Or just to ignore them over there!!!!

Theyve completely remodeled the park, which is a little sad but understandable too, the wood and tires were really not super safe and needed maintenance, though there was character and wonder in the old playground. The new sets are pretty much what you get everywhere, though a huge plus it the open air workout area for adults. They kept the paved walking trails and house shoe pits as well as the skate park and basketball court.

Kids love the variety of activities.

Not too bad nice swing and playground but needs a pavillion or at least a picnic table.

They should change the name to Hanley work out center

Great place for children and adults alike. These have a walking path that loops, a skate park that everyone loves, a free to use out door workout equipment.

To be clear, there are 2 areas to Hanley Park: there is the top area up in the grass, and there is the bottom area, which is a skate park. The top part is a playground made up of tires and contains swings, slides, monkey bars, etc. This area, for the most part, remains to be a fairly family friendly playground to take younger kids. However, the bottom skatepark is quite the opposite, and is where older kids go to do various drug-related things. Best to stay up top.

New and clean. Did a great job renovating the new swings and slides. My 4 year old loves this place

This park is improving with a bike trail through, new outdoor workout equipment, and covered horse shoe playing fields.

To many teens smoking and the mouth they have around little kids.
