Really cool tour. Everything was well organized and super up close too. They also took good precautions with covid-19. They feature animals that I have never seen in any zoos before and they show them to you in your window. Amazing experience. We will definitely come back after the virus to enjoy the rest.

Such a cool experience! Went with no expectations since my 1 1/2 did not seem overly engaged with Lion Country Safari. This place was amazing. My toddler was able to see everything up close and was so excited with the animals (as was my 8 year old). The staff made sure she was able to see them through the window before moving on. You can tell they truly love and care for these animals. So well worth the money and very organized operation. Will definitely be back!

This park is beyond both respectable and knowledgeable. After getting to know the family and the facility, it is very clear that they take great pride in rescuing, the cleanliness, and the overall well-being of their animals. In addition, they are taking COVID measures very seriously for all of their visitors and for the animals themselves. In the past I have felt guilty contributing to businesses that handle animals (zoos, sea aquariums, etc), but not with this gem - my family plans on happily returning for any unique events that they host in the future. Thank you again for a very special birthday!

I have to say it is not all it’s cracked up to be. We thought that because we had to get a reserved time, and all the secrecy with the address, it would be semi-private. You pull up bumper to bumper with 20 other cars on their tiny property. It is a lot of pulling ahead 10 feet; stopping for a while and pulling up a little more and stopping. They bring half a dozen or so animals past your closed windows (if you open or crack a window they will not come close to your car) for you to see briefly as they pass by. Honestly, I suggest you put that money towards Lion Country Safari. You get a lot more bang for the buck. 100’s of more animals, a lot less hassle, and a better experience.

Its good but not great. We booked because of all the reviews on FB, but now I notice that they only allow the great reviews, and you cant see the whole perspective. ( they removed the one I did on their page). I know due to COVID, things have changed, but at least, you should be able to see the animals more detailed (if your windows are closed). The animals pass by so fast, that the kids barely see them. My daughters were disappointed, it was too short for the ride (we live in Miami). The Pumpkin patch was cute.

The farm owner pivoted and invited small groups to tour without getting out of the car, not far from the original farm, you cant just show up without a pre order, they will approach the car with the animals, if you keep the window closed they will bring them much closer. We loved the tour, the animals and the owners. We were 3 minutes late so the owner gave us the part weve missed in private...Amazing experience.

The prices of feed and interactions are worth it since it helps care for the animals!

I’d rate this a 10 out of 5! This was one of the best experiences of my life! I was looking for an animal encounter for my wife and I (2 adults, no kids) because we love animals. When reading the description on the website, it describes the encounter well but the price was so low that it was hard to believe. In most cases, you get what you pay for but in this case, I feel that we got much more than we paid for. We spend at least 2 hours there. I sat down in a group of goats that I was petting. We did the included kangaroo and sloth encounters where we got to pet and learn about each animal. We bought the respective food and got to feed camels, lemurs, and other sheep and goats. We learned that the encounter is family owned and operated. Sean (father) and Alex (older daughter) were kind enough to talk to us, answer all of our questions about their story and history, etc. They seem like such down to earth, kind people who genuinely care about their animals. Everything was super clean, too! I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone!

This family owned and operated business is the reason America is great. They have a wonderful petting zoo loacated at Bedners Farm Market. This family truly cares about the animals. They had just went to Ocala to rescue a baby Kangaroo. (see pic) The whole family helps and they all have tons of knowledge about the animals. The animals are well taken care of and they put the welfare of the animals before profits. The true willingness to rescue and care for these animals is selfless. Please support them in any way you can. They deserve every dollar they make. The cost to feed and care for the animals has to be very expensive. Again this is more than a petting zoo its a great family rescuing animals at there own expense.

We decided to come here because all of the great reviews. The place itself is very small with your typical goats and sheep to pet in a small area. The exotic animals are in cages and every encounter is an add on of about $40 dollars per person which I find a little too much . Even the parakeet is an add on of $5 per person and this is on top of the admission fee of $10! For the amount you pay after add one you would have a nicer time at the Paml Beach Zoo or if you make it a day you can go to Safari Edventure in Miami where they have exotic animal encounters included in admission when they do their animal show.

I went here as a surprise for my daughter because she has a huge love for animals, especially sloths. I came with my husband and her and we all had a great time. This was also probably one of the most noble family businesses. They are a non-profit organization and they’re all incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell the pasión they have for animals and it’s truly heartwarming. The only “problem” was that one of their sloths that we paid to hold and take pictures with, was acting up and they had to cancel the full interaction. However, my daughter and I were able to reschedule for another day to come by the house free of charge, in order to get the original experience. Anyways, we got double the amount of time with the adorable sloth and my daughter already in love with the sloth so she was thrilled to see him again. Overall the price was reasonable when considering it goes towards rescues and benefits for the animals.

Don’t get Duped! Classic Bait & Switch!Even though their website clearly states “children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult” for an animal encounter, my children ages 9 & 7 were turned down at the gate to participate. The cashier said patrons for animal encounters must be 18 years or older. Surprised, I tried to explain what I read on the website, and the employee interrupted me with an exasperated sigh (as if this happens regularly) stating “no, no, no, this information is all over our Instagram and Twitter.” (I don’t have either; only regular internet.) As we drove close to an hour to get there, I reluctantly paid for what I thought would still be a fun experience to see kangaroos up close and personal along with the usual farm animals. Unfortunately, the website’s videos and description greatly differ from reality. There was only 1 kangaroo in the pen that approx 20 people waited in line to pet & only for a few strokes, rather than the multiple kangaroos shown online. Further, the best pics and videos online are of the owner and his family interacting with the animals, not patrons. It’s completely misleading. While there, I could see and hear the presentation about Sloths. The owner held the sloth, spoke a few minutes about the animal, walked to each duped patron & allowed them to softly pet it and returned the sloth to its pen. Not exactly an encounter and not nearly the same experience as advertised. Also the otter encounter was below expectations. A few people stood around a pen while the animal fiddled around the owners feet. There was no holding, playing, or snuggling with it.Aside from the reasonable cost to enter the gates ($10 pp), the feed and Avery entrance fees add up quickly. The best part of the day was getting 10 beautiful red bell peppers for $1.00 from Bedner Farms. At least, now you know and can make a better informed decision.

Terrible customer service! I tried to book an otter encounter as a surprise Christmas present for my mother. I texted the number, they told me to book a week ahead. So 8 days before, I tried to book again. They texted back and told me the week OF to text . I said ok but I need to make sure I get a spot because its a Chriatmas gift. So 3 days later on Monday, the Monday before Christmas mind you, I tried again. They never responded so I called, the woman said she had to check her schedule to put me down for a time slot but didnt have the schedule with her?? Like cant they just offer me one and confirm later? I said ok. Hours later at the end of the day, I texted and asked if they checked the schedule. I received a no, sorry and never heard from them! I was sick of chasing them to give them business so on Christmas Eve I had to scramble to find another gift for my mother. Im never bothering to attempt to give them my business again.

Had an incredible & educational visit with 2 of my coworkers. Did not know what to fully expect other than having my hopes set way too high upon knowing they had sloth interactions...Not only did the family that runs/operates this sanctuary accommodate a flexible schedule to our last minute work delays, they were more than welcoming upon our arrival. Before I get into detail about the animal interactions I want to make it known that this family has the utmost respect, love, care & devotion for their animals...the paid for interactions with these animals are not abusive, harmful, or stressful to the animals well being and they truly put their animals needs FIRST before the customers. We did both the sloth & the lemur interactions and were blown away. Beyond being in the same environment as these beautiful creatures, the presentation was more than educational. All of their animals have been rescued from various bad environments & rehabilitated to stronger, healthier lifestyles. Their entire staff was knowledgeable & passionate about each of their animals and we were in awe the majority of the 3hrs we spent there.Highly recommend for those that appreciate and respect the love for animals - cant thank this family enough for what they do and allowing us to share of piece of their home with us. - Exceeded my high hopes
