This place reminds me of every movie theater I went to in the mid-80s I expected to have a bit of a mildewy smell but it does not! A little bit cheaper than the megaplexes in the area this is my first time here I think I will come back to the future

Good movie ticket prices. A bit pricey inside for snacks and drinks they do have some Deals but you won’t get the deal unless you say something they don’t promote them. They rather you pay full price for everything than tell you about the deals they have. Customer service needs work the employees still seems a little unsure of their job and customer service.

Were so happy theyre open again under the Phoenix theater company. Its nice, clean and inexpensive. Its like half off the big chains. Been coming here for over 10 years.

Great people good prices on admission high concession prices and dated facility’s. Theater quality older stadium but overall good. No wait time and quick lines.

My grandsons and I were very sad when this theater closed suddenly. It was always our go to theater. Thanks to the reviews of the previous reviewers we learned today that the theater reopened recently. We were happy to see Jumanji there today. The staff were wonderful and the popcorn yummy. And, of course, the movie was fun.

Opened again under Phoenix, 5 dollars at all times for my wife and me. Cannot beat it. Best place for a movie.

Spent 5 times more on food and snacks than cost of movie, only because I enjoy what they have. Theater is not new. Seats are comfortable, but best part is that there are empty spaces where I can maneuver my wheelchair and enjoy the show. Before my new hearing aids, I made use of their free headphones. Got me it is close, cozy, and cost effective.

Reopended under the name Phoenix Theaters Boynton Cinema 8. Went today to see Frozen 2 with the family & it was great. Cant beat the prices :)

I love this little theater. Its small and kind of has a small-town feel. You wont find the Megaplex deal here but you will find super nice people a good selection of snacks the most current movies an awesome ticket prices! Seriously you will not go broke going to the movies here.

Nothing fancy, but the movie is the same, so who cares???? Cheaper, not crowded, what else do you want? And what I loved the most is that they didnt have a million comercials before the movie, and they didnt spend twenty minutes on previews! One preview, and the movie started on time. Good bye, expensive theaters!

Love the fact that theres actually still a Cinema located in the neighborhood. Love the seats, location and comfort of sitting anywhere and being able to see a movie. Cant believe all the complaints on this site. Sometimes in life, things are not fair, but dont sweat the small stuff and just try to enjoy whatever life we have. Complaining about popcorn, management, etc., will not make life any easier. Thanks for having a wonderful Cinema located around the corner.

It was very nice. The employees in the ticket booth, at the concession stand, and the door greeter were so sweet and professional. It has a very 90s vibe and very family friendly. I loved visiting this theater.

Good basic theater with no frills. It is a Stadium Theater but you can tell its a little bit dated. The cost of the tickets were reasonable and makes it a great place to take a family. They offer reasonable snacks behind the concession stand including roasted nuts nachos hot dogs Etc. Not a bad place to go for a matinee when youre on a tight budget.

Plain but clean and best part no lines. Theater booth staff was a very helpful lady and even made recommendations in the plaza for a quick bite. Liked that alot.

Amazing theater, for nearly 25 years this has been my familys main movie theater. WARNING current reports on fb and nextdoor say this theater is currently closed with no further information. Phone numbers still work, website, and social media pages all current. TICKETS ARE STILL BEING SOLD ONLINE despite being closed. Call ahead to the office number before buying tickets online! It is sad to see this theater closed, despite being a little outdated I loved it. Hopefully it will reopen soon or announce when it will be open again!

The theater smelled moldy and old. Seats were very uncomfortable

I went to watch a movie here on a Thursday. It was quiet. But the theatre was clean, and staff were very cooperative. I liked the sound system and their seating arrangement too. And unlike many other theaters, the trailers, before starting the movie, were not too many. I liked my movie time in here.

Alco is a great movie theater. Early bird movie before 12 noon on a Saturday (5.75+.38). Friendly staff, clean theater, and clean restrooms. No reserved, assigned seating nonsense. The movie played flawlessly and the sound was excellent. My family is waiting for the next great movie release so we can go back. If youre looking for a great little traditional movie theater where you can walk up, buy a ticket and see a movie this is the place!

This is an older theater with exceptional ticket prices. The popcorn is always fresh and you can get White Castle hamburgers. What more could a person want.

This is a great theater and I love it here but I am very disappointed that they are not showing a movie at a scheduled time and nowhere on the internet does it say that they won’t be showing it because of a Indian movie. This is very disappointing because I drove all the way here wasting my gas with 2 kids that were ready to see Small Foot. You guys need to at least warn people by posting something on the website. Alco is a very nice local theater. Their prices are very competitive and they have great specials on Tuesdays.

Decent cinema. Nothing flashy and superb but a decent and as far as I could tell, clean environment. Parking available and pleasant staff. Popcorn was terrible the first time I went there and second time wasnt impressed either. If you want to avoid large crowds that you see in Cinemark then this is most likely a good option for you.

I’ve always gone to this theater because it is not expensive, has good snacks, and they just recently upgraded their sound and screen system.

I like this theater it is small like a Mom & Pop place. It is intimate. I have been to the bigger theaters with D box seating etc. they are fine also but something about this theater brings back childhood sentimentality.The prices are fair, the snacks are good and they have comfy seating, the seats are stadium style so I never have an issue with being short and the parking is easy and free. Really thats all I really need in a theater.So if your into the glitz and glam of the bigger movie chains you wont like this theater, but if you like small and comfortable this is the place youre looking for.

I walked through the doors and was instantly sent back to 1995. Awesome theater. Very clean but hot dogs are very expensive. Bring your own hot dogs.

Dandy little theater showing new release films at a reasonable price. Very old school theater, simple concessions, smaller viewing rooms, no million dolar screen amd sound set-up. It does exactly what it needs to do - show a movie at a fair price. Be aware - the theater is a little bit hidden in the shopping center on the Old Boyton Beach side to the intersection.

My favorite home away from home. Reccomend to any cinephile. Hell, reccomend to anyone! Quiet and never really packed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great prices every day. Catch private screenings by going to off-peak showings.

Nice theater friendly cashiers at the ticket window as well thats the ticket taker inside concession stand can use some improvement I ordered only popcorn but the popcorn was not fresh the mens bathroom has only 3 urinals and 1 toilet which made a line form quickly while waiting to use The Mens room . Ticket prices are reasonable for senior citizens at $6 for that I give it 3 stars***

We got there and ordered tickets for adults and children, only to be informed that all shoes were the same discounted price for matinee performances. We were tgen greeted by the manager and had a lovely conversation while they prepared the theater as her people cleaned up from thecearlier show. (This theater had multiple matinee showings, as opposed to other places that give each title one matinee --first showing each day-- and then squeeze you for every cent.) We had ample time to order snacks at the concession counter, but they were so swift we didnt need it. We were even informed that we get a free refill with our drink.The manager also informed us that there was no cut scene for this movie, so we knew we could leave without sitting through all the credits. Wish every theater had this level of service.Movie sound was perfect, visuals superb, And the seats and environment were comfortable.

Not new or renovated or luxurious, but incredibly affordable and you can walk up and get tickets (ie: no need to order online and get bilked for fees and overpriced seating) for first run movies with no issue. Staff is very nice too.

Current movies, reruns of childrens favorites on weekends over holiday breaks and summer. Reasonable ticket prices. Concession stand prices high. Clean seats and bathrooms. Overall way better value than the AMC chains and, other super theaters around Palm Beach area.

They always have the latest titles but the theater could use some renovations and the AC fixed.

Horrible customer service. My 3 children started to misbehave about an hour into a 2hr 20minute movie plus previews, I tried to leave to avoid ruining other movie goer experiences, and they told me I could only be issued a refund 30 minutes after the starting time. I guess I shouldve marched back into the theater and let dozens complain about whinging, loud, children running around but thought it best to leave. Since I wont be getting rid of my children, I have learned I will never return to this theater with them, and with the reason to not help a customer issue I wont be returning myself. First and last time!

This place only cares about making a buck. No customer service. Management don’t care and lack morals. We purchased two movie tickets and were unable to make it due to a family emergency. They refuse to give us a credit or anything for that matter. The tickets were brought and paid for - not free. At minimum we should have received a credit. Poor customer service.

Its the only movie theater my friend and I go to when Im in the Delray/Boynton area. No computer seating or paying! Simple old time theater, great movies, clean and comfy..

Its not the cleanest or the most state of the art but its comfy and its great for a quick flick. Reminds me of the theaters I went to as a kid. Dont change!

The worst customer experience Ive had in a while. I showed up to see a film 20 minutes after the start time to avoid commercials and walked up to the ghost town of what was once a movie theater. Upon walking into the theater past the empty ticket booths, one employee greeted me by asking if I was trying to buy a ticket. I said yes and she explained she could not sell me a ticket because the movie had already started. As I asked if there was any way to still see the film another couple walked into the theatre and was also turned away by the solo employee. Management needs help if employees are told to turn away paying customers. If you want to see a film, make sure you arrive on time.
