A friend of mine gave me their information because she said that she has used them several times and they have been very, very helpful and did a good job appraising. I Emailed a bunch of pictures to Richard and even though I decided not to get any of the paintings appraised at this time he was so helpful on the telephone and he did some investigative work for me on the phone and gave me some information that I needed completely free of charge. INSURANCE & IRS APPRAISALS Require Appraisers To Be USPAP Compliant & Mandated. Most Recently The RBL Appraisal Firm Overvalued And Mislead A Client On An Over Inflated $4.8 Million Dollar Insurance Appraisal. The Appraisal Was Not Accepted By The Insurance Company, The Client Paid $350. For An Appraisal That Was Unethical And The Proper Comparable And Venues Not Utilized. The Valuation And Appraisal Fee Merit less. The Appraisal Violated The USPAP Standards And The Appraisal Board Foundation Acceptable Methodology And Standards.

When we arrived, he meticulously analyzed the painting and provided us a detailed explanation of exactly what had been done to create what ultimately was a good copy. I had an oil painting that needed an appraisal The painting appeared to be an original Carlo Mancini I sent Richard a couple of pictures including picture of the signature Richard did a quick review and informed me the signature did not match his signature reference bluebook. He said he could appraise it if I brought the painting in but could not authenticate it since the signature did not match the blue book. He did all this over the phone. Came upon this gallery as part of an art walk that we read about in the local paper. This was our last stop on the walk and by far the best. It is a large gallery with a diverse collection of artwork. The owner, Richard was welcoming and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. He was able to offer lots of insight when we had questions without being intrusive, as we took our time looking around.On a return trip to Florida we decided to visit the gallery again. Richard suggested we look at a few items he had on consignment and we fell in love with a series of three paintings by an artist we had not heard of. We left more knowledgable about the artist and interested in the possibility of purchasing the art which was part of an estate.We decided to make an offer on the artworks some weeks later and Richard could not be more helpful assisting in communicating our offer and counter offer to the estate. In the end, we were incredibly pleased with how smoothly the process went.
