Black Swamp has been fantastic! My son takes private piano lessons while I take adult hip hop. It has been life changing for my son. He discovered a love for music that my husband and I dont even understand. His love is being nurtured by an AMAZING instructor who encourages him and challenges him at the same time. And my class.... I feel free to be me, to be silly and have fun while learning some awesome choreography! Black Swamp is where its at!!! :)

For over two years, I have been taking the adult orchestra class as a new adult learner. Nothing but goodness from this class! A very patient teacher (seeing as I had NO experience!), fun music and she is very understanding that this is a hobby for me as an adult.I have two children taking lessons at this school also. They both love their classes and their teacher. The musical growth is obvious, as is the attention to meeting students where they are at. Keep up the fabulous job of helping my kids to love playing their instruments!

I highly recommend this dance studio! The instructors are wonderful and they are very thorough. The music and choreography is all age appropriate and that is something I found very difficult to come across in a dance studio. My daughter also takes private violin lessons and her instructor is so patient and speaks so kindly. This truly is a quality fine arts school. I am so glad we have this school in Bowling Green and I am so glad we joined the BSFAS family.

Our family has been with Sophia and Black Swamp Fine Arts School from early on, and it’s been a match made in heaven for us. From the very first “princess camp” that my preschooler twins attended, through early ballet and now tap classes and violin lessons, my kids have fallen in love with the stage.

Great place for dance and music lessons. Googles got the directions wrong for getting here, Gould Street doesnt connect and you have to turn down Railroad Road to navigate to the blue roof white mini mall building. Trust yer eyes!

All of the faculty are wonderful and really care about their students. I took the ballet class for adults and loved it. The teacher made it accessible for complete beginners and at the same time challenged people who have danced since they were children.

Great faculty who care about the students development as artists and people. Very qualified faculty. Love the variety of classes.
