The park was clean as always. There was additional personnel cleaning and patroling which is comforting these days. Signs were in place reminding people to be respectful of social distancing guidelines.The people there were courteous and polite. It was busy and the parking lot was full. Despite this fact, we were easily able to remain socially distant from others. Most people we walked by during our walk were polite and respectful of social distancing guudelines. This was also the case where we sat.There was plenty of places to sit and relax. Shade was easily attainable as well. I recommend heding down anytime for a bike ride, walk or maybe to go fishing. Even just sitting and watching the boats go by, having a conversation with someone can also be fun and relaxing.

This place has a lot of great history Its a Wonderful Herring run and its a part of the original river system that made the building of the Cape Cod Canal seem possible. Such a simple feature has been functioning for thousands of years as a breeding ground 4 Herring and eel.

Excellent for fishing

Weve been coming here for decades. We bring our lunch, reading material, chairs and have a great time. The shade trees are a delight, the breezes are wonderful. The area is kept up very clean. Thankyou!! You need to put back the trash receptacle and recycle bins at east end of lot. It would be a big help. The views are incredible. Keep up the good work Army Corps Of Engineers.

Caught some big bass there

Great for biking, jogging and walking. Went with the family. Path is flat great with a stroller. Beautiful views. Went to fly the drone got some great shots. Definitely going back.

Clean well maintained

Great bike trail, great views, and no real hills. There are restrooms and concessions. The trail is paved and people fish all along the route.

I love the Herring Run

Great place to take pictures of the canal and Sagamore Bridge. Plus the bathrooms are usually pretty clean.

Liver gong for walks here on our way to and from the cape.

It amazing to see thousands of small fish make it here without a map.

A wicked pretty rest stop with an accessible outdoor outlet I was able to get away with plugging my desktop vaporizer in on a rainy Labor Day weekend Sunday.

Its a great place to relax, take a long walk or bike ride by the canal, or do some fishing.

Just fantastic....always clean and supplied with toilet necessities....we walk the canal almost every other day ...its comforting to know there is wonderfully clean place to change and use bathrooms...thank you

This was a lot of fun. There is the bike trail along the canal, but there is also a pathetic through the woods with lots of little signs that tel you about the plant life you encounter.
