I shop here on the regular for my job and my own crafting. If you get a good employee, its a great experience. Theres a lot of turnover, however, and not everyone is knowledgeable or super helpful. My biggest gripe is that they make it a big deal to honour my educator discount. Every time I go in, theres a different hoop to jump through: first it was a paper coupon to show; next it was tied to my phone number/rewards program; just today I was told I have to get the app and re-register. I just need the dang 20% discount, Mike!

I loved it! I love this store every time I go! Last time I went they had super great deals ad I got a really cute binder organizer thing for really cheap, and I love it!!! I would totally recommend!

The deals are always incredible and I love crafts, but the aisles were very narrow and crowded. It was a frustrating maze to walk through.

Got a dope woodburner and leather punch. Kids got very distracted by all the fun toys. Hardest part of the trip was leaving without a thousand impulse buys.

We found their Halloween section.... Lacking. There was nothing better than what you can find at At Home for a third of the pricePlus, they didnt have very many coloring books

The idea of a clerk following a minority myself around to see if Im going to actually get anything or not. Even though I spent $150 on Christmas decorations there this weekend. That is annoying. If a minority cant shop there and peace and the only reason why I bought anything there was because my Caucasian girlfriend wanted the merchandise otherwise I myself would have walked out.

First time ordering online. Went to pick up my paint and they had thrown two bottles of paint that were opened, dried paint all over the bottles. One bottle was half empty and the other was a third empty. When I asked for better bottles they needed two people to figure out what to do. All I asked for were two new bottles but they went through the whole return process. When they asked me to put in my credit card to return the money I asked again for just the paint and they finally just went and got me the two bottles. Should have gone to DickBlick.

Staff more than willing to help

It is a good craft store and location. They keep nice amounts of inventory. Its clean and organized. They do a good job of using digital and paper coupons. I love their decor items. Unfortunately their no receipt return policy is frustrating (even for the employeeswho may not be well trained on it so dont lose or forget yours) and the lines can be long. So dont expect it to be a quick trip.

So disrespectful. They labeled my wife and I and assumed we were going to steal when we were planning on spending quite a bit. Also the manager on duty put her hands on my wife.

Was able to find most of what I wanted easily, with a few things, specifically supplies for bookbinding, and the rest I can order online. Overall a pretty positive experience as the store was clean and organized.

Our local Michaels is very friendly and carries a broad range of crafting supplies. Its also located in an easily accessible shopping center.

They always have any craft supplies that you could need. They dont run out of stock usually and they have good prices and helpful employees. Crafty people, this is heaven!!

I liked it they had most everything, but they stopped selling Bob Ross products..

We have gotten a couple different things framed here at the Bountiful, Utah store and we are very unimpressed. They have done a poor job of communicating with us and the job they did on our painting was horrible. It looked like a 5 year old framed our painting. For the money we paid we are very unhappy. Will not be going back to this store.

Visited yesterday. 2 stars for the products they sell(all are great,) and thats it. There was only what appeared to be two workers. 1 cashier, and 1 running around the store. I was in a rush, with my infant, running around the whole store trying to find someone to ask for help. When I finally found someone, there were many people asking her questions as well. When I got to the line, with only 1 cashier, the line was long. When it was my turn in line, I was not greeted by the cashier, just rung me up and was on her phone the entire time.

I like to get crafts here and other decor.

Well its a craft store... its what you would expect. Its usually a bit of a mess but it is also kind of a busy place. That being said I cant remember the last time I was offered help, or was given much help when I asked. There is usually not enough employees to take care of the daily tasks so they dont want to stop and actually do more than point a finger and say down there... they also dont have much product knowledge. I often have sticker shock when I see their prices, if I dont have a coupon for 40% or better its not worth it...

I shop at this Michaels pretty often and I love their selection and sale prices. I really wish that their checkout process was faster though, because 9 out of 10 times I end up waiting in line forever because they typically only have one cashier and don’t call another until the line is ridiculously long. I have to say though that the employees are always friendly, which helps, but my time is valuable too.

One of many stores in this chain across the Wasatch Front. (and Im sure nation wide) It is one of the cleaner and better organized locations that I have been to. Friendly staff, nice stock of general craft supplies. In the past few years they have really upped their game on home decor items. They also carry a nice collection of decor items for holidays. Their decorative baking isle is also pretty decent. You can usually find a 40% off coupon for a single item online or using their app.

Dragged here by the wife. No places for husbands to sit down and wait while the wife spends my money.

This is the best Michaels! Its the biggest out of all of them in UT and I love their clearances! I just got this 3D printer for 19.97, normally $60!

My wife and I wanted to do some crafting and make a quiet book for our son. We found all the “ingredients” we needed and they were very reasonably priced. They had more than enough items to look through. There was so much to look at I don’t even think I saw it all! We will definitely go back for more projects in the future.

Went in tonight looking to buy some copper tape as a lady in the back if she k ew where it was she paged some one one then told me they dont sell copper tape to check a hardware store so i googled it and found that a good sized roll of it was on isle 8 with the jewelry stuff cant say muvh about the employees but atleast i got what i was looking for

Michaels is really overpriced, even with their 50% off coupons. There is literally nothing here that cant be bought online for cheaper. I wouldnt bother coming here. The employees even look dead.I dont even know how they stay open since there is usually nobody there.

The staff is very helpful. Whenever I cant seem to find what Im looking for they are always ready to jump up and help me search the store even if theyre not totally sure if they carry the item. they really know how to make you feel valued as a customer. I really never had a poor experience here. I also really appreciate how clean and organized they keep the place too. It seems like the type of store that would probably become disorganized easily, but they really stay on top of it.

Didnt find what I was looking for, only 1 employee on the floor stocking shelves too busy to ask customers if they need help. Cashier asked if I found everything ok, I said no, she didnt bother to ask what I was looking for to make an attempt to go above and beyond. Instead she said at least your trip in wasnt a total waste right? I bought 3 items. I would of bought more had the customer service was above and beyond. Terrible customer service, rather embarrassing honestly.

Love Michaels! Clean and has everything you could ever want. I love the bead selection. I make Mala’s and I come here a lot. I love the coupons and sales. I am only giving it four stars due to the fact that overall many items are way overpriced in comparison to other places you can buy comparable items and thus I think it would have a lot more traffic. If you are looking for paint or small items then you are good to go.

The aisles are very small since they pack so much into the store. I love the clearance items. Actually, I love everything you can get there, but I have a obsession with clearance. They have exceptional clearance prices. But, the skinny aisles (even the main aisles) is so suffocating, I dont go in as much as I would like.

Huge selection for nearly every hobby or activity or event, there is a whole section just for weddings which is very helpful. The workers are really easy to talk to and there are great prices for a lot of cute stuff.

This place is clean and always well organized. They have great customer service! Sometimes they even have lower prices than Joanns.
