My daughter began gymnastics with CATS about 10 years ago attending their rec classes and camps. The classes were always super fun and the coaches inspired her! She loved their summer camps, birthday parties and Saturday open gym sessions. About 8 years ago, she switched into their competitive program (USAG J.O.). My daughter has grown up hearing herself being called an athlete by CATS. What a positive and powerful word. The coaches and staff have done an amazing job of coaching, mentoring, and teaching these athletes in a safe and supportive environment.

A great experience! Id done gymnastics as a kid and found this place offered adult classes. I felt very welcomed in the relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was nice and inviting. Although I was a bit nervous for my first class, I realized there wasnt too much to be nervous about. There were other first timers and the class was just the right size - small enough to get personal training attention, but big enough to not stand out! Definitely going back!

I have four daughters that have all been through CATS gym in some capacity over the last 6 years...one has stayed on as a competitive gymnast. Wendy, the owner and coach is absolutely fantastic. I have never once heard my daughter say do I HAVE to go to gymnastics today? The emphasis always remains on having fun and being safe...not producing Olympians with body image disorders! While the gym is open to both boys and girls, there really seems to be a focus on GIRL POWER!

CATS Gymnastics is an amazing community environment for students of all walks and likes to explore the incredible sport of gymnastics. Those who choose to compete in this sport have opportunities to learn incredible life skills as well as be apart of a wonderful, kind, and supportive community of athletes and coaches. Being a competitive gymnast gave me the opportunities to learn incredibly important life skills and lessons. CATS is much more than a gymnastics program, it is a gym that coaches and mentors the whole athlete; incorporating physical, social and emotional learning into the most wonderful sport.

I was a competitive gymnast at CATS for over 10 years, and I highly recommend it. The environment is great, and the coaches are highly dedicated to their gymnasts and guests.

CATS has a great facility and coaches that truly care about the development and safety of every athlete. Super fun environment for birthday parties, summer camps, and classes. Very accommodating for all levels for kids and adults! The coaches are in shape too.

Thank you to our wonderful community for voting CATS Best of Boulder County for gymnastics schools 2012, 2013. Since 1988 we have loved providing our neighbors with a healthy, safe place to play and learn. Nearly all of our dedicated and knowledgeable staff are USA Gymnastics professional members, safety CPR/first aid certified, have professional back ground checks, were competitive in the sport and are committed to continuing education. CATS has the largest gymnastics summer camp program in the state and we are grateful to our families for their support.

Cats Gym is woefully mismanaged and unapologetic about it. I don’t know if management changed or they lost a key employee, but our experience over the last 6 months has been a series of disappointments. Some coaches are good for young kids, others are not, but it doesn’t matter because the kids have different coaches almost every week which prevents them from developing a relationship with a coach and learning their leadership style. My daughter stopped following instructions halfway through today and when I asked why she said, “I’m scared.” She’s not scared of anything. I asked of what. “...my coach.” Of course, this was a different coach than 2 weeks ago, who was different from 3 weeks ago. Probably would have been different last week, too, but Cats canceled Saturday classes on short notice. I wish they’d have cancelled today, because kids were left holding their ears while construction with power tools went on raining dust and debris on kids and parents, and my daughter stubbed her toe on junk they left out on the mats.Coaches and staff frequently apprear frustrated with students and each other and seem to have resorted to attitudes of “that’s somebody else’s fault. Not my job.”We have sessions left and we’re abandoning them.

I love CATS gym. It has the best open gym for adults in this area, and the Sunday adult classes are very fun.

Very unkind people answering the phone and running this place. If they treat adults bad, not going to do any better with children.

If I knew then what I know now, I would not have let my daughter become a competitive athlete.
