This bar is a little taste of heaven. The owner is so charming and good looking you forget your at a bar but drift away to a sexy night club!! You have to go in on the weekend shift to meet one of the most charming little person I have ever met. She will melt your heart with her courage and kindness.

Forget all the other reviews bitching about bar staff being drunk, not paying attention to customers not-being-local or dive bar audience. Just not true. Does not picture the actual experience. Backstop is a main reason why I keep coming back to Boulder City when staying in Vegas. Third year in a row. Being from Austria, Europe, it reminds me of my fav hangout in Vienna. Total home from home. Yes, its smoky (Nevada, hello?!?), beer is 3$, bar staff is way beyond great service (especially Audra, who happens to be hot, I might add), locals are totally open to meet a foreign guy from Europe with blond hair and glasses (so no Redneck alert in the desert) and though its a true dive bar, no bar fight has been witnessed yet :-) I know Boulder City pretty well – and the Backstop is a perfect gem after sunset (if youd like to avoid the usual sports bar modeled after every single same-looking chain pub around those 50 states). Cheap beer, a cigarette, great live bands, awesome staff. Thats what you wanna have in the most beautiful scenery in the Vegas suburb!

Weve been coming into Boulder City and the Back Stop for many years with my service dog. Whomever is on duty today, Saturday 11 August kicked us out (even with us providing the service dog papers). Perhaps theyre unaware of the laws.

I moved to Boulder City in 2016 and finally had a chance to go to the Back Stop. I had a rough day and needed a beer.Bartender was friendly and was quick to help us. They have billiards, foosball and other games that dont charge much. Tie that in with a full bar and great beer selection and its a great local hangout.As for people complaining on here. Its a bar in nevada, people are going to smoke. Its not even half as bad as the casinos all around Henderson and Vegas.

Brad is awesome. Dude always takes care of us. The prices are reasonable and the comedy show they had when I went there on a Monday was fun times. Dont find many places like this is Vegas.

Every one was cool AF. II also meet a beautiful young lady and we had a blast. Place is cool in my book.

Very very disappointed with our experience at the Back Stop this past weekend! Myself and 16 friends planned on spending the afternoon at your establishment after we went skydiving. We all came in and the bartender was the worst bartender I have come across in a long time! She was rude and very unfriendly to all of us. I am a bartender in Las Vegas. My bar owner was with us as well and was disgusted with how we all were treated. We all left and went to Jacks where we spent the rest of the afternoon and spent a lot of money. I come in there every time I come to Boulder City and loved the bartenders in the past. Always had a great time. The bartender on duty on Sat Feb 4th lost your bar ALOT of money. Very disappointed!

Prices were good,drinks made perfectly & they had a variety of games and activities to do while drinking & hanging out with friends.

I enjoy my time when I come to the backstop.I been coming here for over 20years...
