I really want to love this place. The drinks are good, the decor is rad and its in the chill part of North Hollywood where I can park and walk. The service has never been good for me here. Its always a bummer to feel like youre bothering people when you order. Ive come here three times and had the same thing happen each time.

This place seems cool as a sports bar and had - HAD - decent food. For some reason they changed the menu to be consistent with the establishment next door .

Scott Damgaard fills this place every Sunday with great originals and requests barked out from the crowd. Beer prices are beyond reasonable and Jess behind the bar serves them with a smile that could light up Fenway Park!

One of the best Boston bars around! I worked there for a bit and am so happy I can now enjoy as a regular customer. Amazing staff and cheap drinks. Great spot for some karaoke! They have contests with cash prizes sometimes as well so you should ask about it to see what’s going on that month! Three floors with bumping dance floors in the basement and on the third floor. The DJs know what they’re doing. 2 for 1 appetizers til 7pm (perfect for after work drinks). $2 drafts. Just can’t beat it. Gets rowdy for sure and is not always for the faint of heart, but it’s a wicked fun time and I can’t recommend this place enough

Cool spot with 3 rooms. Mix Wild Rover and R&B.. They also close at 4am which is a plus. My only complaints are that its usually very crowded, line is usually long and drinks are pricey!

Friday night $10 dollar cover charge was fine until we realized draft beers were $1.50. Their alcoholic slushees are also have great bang for their buck. Will be returning!

More like 3-1/2 stars.Plus: very nice waitress, decent lighting, prices very reasonable for downtown Boston with a nice menu.Minus: service was very slow, even when quiet, entirely too much ice in my tonic, making it go flat, although I suspect that the CO2 cartridge was running low, too. Far too loud for space. Restaurants and bars, as a rule, need to learn how to scale their sound systems to their space better.

We had a birthday party in the lower quarters. They provided the food and everything! Very nice. Great atmosphere, clean and excellent place to have fun.

Karaoke nights are good. It is the kind of place where you can definitely have fun if you bring your own crowed. Not the kind of place I would go to meet people though. There are a couple of amazing singers that gather on Thursdays. The place decir is not amazing and the staff is average.

Horrible experience. They have a rule that everyone should be aware of, no entrance with a state issued ID. One must have a passport or drivers license only. My family and friends wont be returning after the continued disrespect.

Im from Miami, we visited Boston for work and checked out Wild Rover, staff was friendly, patrons were high energy and a lot of fun, and I can definitely say these arent Miami prices for sure, very affordable and prompt service. Loved it. Pretty sure my bartender was Michelle, she was awesome.

One of the only places in Boston you can find cheap drafts. Plus karaoke, and darts on the first floor provide for a good time

Used to frequent this place, never again. The staff was vaping behind the bar (a health code violation) and as that was going on wet glasses were placed in an overhead rack dripping on the garnish station (ready to eat food, another health code violation). I asked to speak to a manager, surprise! He’s drinking! (Another violation). Needless to say, this establishment has been reported to the Boston public health commission. Don’t eat or drink here.

Went for 1st time this past weekend and must say that its definitely a popular place. All 3 floors were full. This place just needs to either get more space or limit capacity lower because was just so cramped & upper floors were way too hot, so we mainly stayed on bottom floor even though top floor had best music. We enjoyed ourselves, just think some things could be changed

Great place to have some down time with friends. One of my favorites in the city. A number of us go here after work on Fridays for a great-laid back atmosphere to unwind, karaoke, trivia and well priced beers.

Cool spot but music was weird. It also had some creepy guys that were trying to hit on our girls. Good place to dance and have a fun night.

This place is a good size & had several tvs if you wanted to watch a game. The karaoke was fun & handled through an app which kept things fair. The upstairs had a dance floor with its own music, but I couldnt really tell you the vibe up there since we kept it downstairs. The crowd is pretty mixed but can definitely attract a lot of college kids.

Ive eaten food here once and it was pretty good. Mainly go out with friends on Saturday night and hang upstairs. One of the few places that I feel like DJ always plays good music. And drinks are fairly priced also.

College bar! $5 cover on Thursdays, I forget what it is on Fridays and Saturdays. Karaoke on the main floor, and club on the top and basement levels. Always a good mix of women and men. Cheap drinks, beer is like $3.50 for light beers. Good place to rely on in Faneuil Hall.

Came here with a group of friends after having a disappointing experience at another bar. We loved it so much at Wild Rover that we spent the rest of the night here. The $5 slushies were great and Karaoke was a total blast. Ill definitely be back here soon!

The food was decent (I ordered the 12oz rib-eye). The trivia was entertaining and karaoke okay (the lyrics programming had a syncing issue but the host was real nice). The service however left a little to be desired. We kept trying to get our waitress attention and after 15 minutes had to get up and find her to order our food. We also at the end had to track her down to pay our bill. All in all it was a cute local little place, but not the best place Ive been. The regulars seemed to really enjoy the spot though.

Old bar with a dive feel. They offer Karaoke many nights. The upstairs is a little more varied music. Recommend for a cheap start to the night.

Fun and silly place to get drunk and throw darts or sing karaoke.

So they do this karaoke thing on the main floor and heres where it gets interesting. So everyone is singing and drinking having a good time. when they call up the next act I notice a shift in the air. This guy comes on stage, the guy was a black man, and starts singing a song. Part of the song has rap lyrics, but nothing vulgar. I noticed a drunk man turn to the DJ make eye contact and motion to cut the song. 30 seconds later the song was cut and the DJ claimed it was a problem with the computer. First and last time at this place

Happy hour from 4-7 with free food and $1.5 bud light draft, cant beat the great deal. Good place to grab a cheap drink after work. Good bar to watch the game, watch old music videos, and sing karaoke!

Make sure you check your credit card statement. I was charged twice for my meal. The man working the door was nice but the bartender was not friendly. The burger cost $5 and a pitcher of beer is $9. The prices are not bad.

The worst experience I ever had.I went here to have a few drinks and overall have a good time celebrating the brief return of my cousin who is an active army veteran. It was suppose to be a boys night out celebrating his return.The bouncer at the door did not want to let a member in our party through the doors because he only had a state issued ID and not a liquor license. Keep in mind we have been here before and never ran in to this before. I asked to speak with a manager to try our luck if not it was okay because there are other bars in the area to choose from.I explained to the manager the situation about how we have never had this issue before. The manager responded by saying the reason why one cant get a liquor license is because of either of the following reasons, 1, you either OWE CHILD SUPPORT, 2, DONT PAY YOUR TAXES, 3, YOU ARE A CONVICTED FELON, or 4, an ILLEGAL ALIEN. We felt as if we were being discriminated because of the pigment in our skins and the accents in our words.To the Wild Rover owner this is a shame that you would let your staff discriminate against minorities, not accept a state issued ID, and not honor our Nations veterans. I would suggest you take necessary measure to ensure that others do not have to endure the same treatment.FYI. The member in our party who did not have a liquor license was the brother of the veteran in group, what a blow to tell him you cant celebrate with your brother here.Before you jump to conclusions. We are not masochist and do not appreciate this type of treatment therefore we will never visit this establishment ever again.All statements on this review are solely based on my personal recollection of the events that transpired. It is my opinion that the staff here should either be replaced to re-educated on the topic of respect.

This is definitely a dive bar.there is some street parking around the area and all, but we took cabs.they have some pre made frozen drinks and they were ok, not very strong but also not too weak.they have darts and karaoke there, I am not sure what is the karaoke schedule but we laugh it when we came by and that was kind of cool.the staff is ok, not the friendliest but they do serve fast cause the place is so empty.for a quiet night with a group of friends the is a ok place to go.I did not dare to eat here but I did have one of the frozen drinks.TOOTY FRUITY- it was ok. not something I would get drunk on for sure.not impressive at all but ok for a quiet night.

Pretty close to Haymarket if you that public transportation about 7 minute walk from the train to Wild Rover. They have good Karkoke almost every night.
