Phenomenal collection of military artifacts. You can easily spend over and hour fgoing through each collection of artifacts alone. The artwork is significant and inspiring and could take just as long to peruse. A definite must see while in Boston!

The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company is the oldest military organisation in the United States having received charter in 1638.They have a free museum which occupies the top floor meeting hall and adjacent smaller rooms at Faneuil Market building on Congress Street. Opening Hours are 9am to 3pm (Monday to Friday), closed on weekends. Here you can find quite a few historical member portraits, historical paintings, military arms, badges and other military and war items. I enjoyed seeing cannon balls recovered from Bunker Hill.Overall, a neat place to stop if you intend to visit and spend time at Faneuil Market as part of your sightseeing of the Freedom Trail attractions. Those with a particular interest in military history will enjoy spending some time here.

Very interesting Museum in the top of Faneuil Hall next to Quincy Market. They have tons military memorabilia ranging from what looked to be from the first Gulf War to the Revolutionary War. Theres also tons of history and memorabilia about the artillery company itself. Very interesting museum if you were in the area and they are open.

Wonderful display of ancient artillery! Well worth the climb up to the 4th floor, or take the elevator. Either way, its worth your time to visit. Located inside Faneuil Hall, free to visit. It will take you about 30 minutes to walk around and see this collection. Afterwards, go back down to the second floor of Faneuil Hall, and your that as well.

Did not this existed. It is above Faneuil Hall.Great history dating to before the Revolution. Many historic people are members as well as heads of state from around the world including the Royal Family. Of England and former Presidents.Anyone with Miltary background or a Miltary brat as I am, will appreciate this.
