I love AMC Boston Common! Even during the Pandemic, they are open, really clean, have a good assortment of movies, new as are available, but a good selection of previously released films to give us a bit of a choice. Only complaint is the lack of refreshments, but its state mandated, not AMC decision. Thank you for safely reopening!

I love AMC theaters, but havent been to this location before, only suburban locations to the north. It was pretty trashed. There was food and other stuff all over the floor. The seats where we sat were not recliner-style. They could lean back, but then they would crush the knees of the person behind you. As a taller person, I also found my own knees getting smashed. There is no connected parking. Boston Common parking is very convenient to this location.

AMC Loews arent peppered across the concrete jungle I call New York City but there are enough that I have been to more than my fair share. Most of the time I feel that this specific franchise love to make a Heather that is overly dramatic design. This Loews is no different. This theatre is several floors tall, has several 3d theatre screens.

The AMC is a great place to catch a movie as it always has been. However, with Covid-19, there were little to no customers. Went to go see The New Mutants and there were only four in the theater. It will take sometime for the movie goers to comeback. As for The New Mutants?...

Convenient location to both red and green lines, great food options nearby. Often shows cool smaller run films. Main complaint is that the downstairs concessions is usually closed, so if youre in Theatre 1 or 2, you have to go up 2 escalators to the main level to get a drink, then come back down to your theatre.

This is a very nice movie theater. The chairs are very comfortable and the food is good, but its absurdly expensive. We got two movie tickets, popcorn, pretzel bites, and one drink and paid $80. The movie also played for a few minutes with no sound, but it was fixed and restarted for us, which was nice.

My go-to theater in Boston area. The seats are comfortable (unlike Assembly Row that makes my back hurt after an hour) and the spacing is ideal for viewing (better than Fenway). The unique, glamorous ceiling decor always makes it feel special to go to this theater. I’ve had issues from time to time, like overhead lights not going off when the movie starts, but the manager has made up for mistakes and it is still my preferred venue.

Great location, easily accessible by the T (local metro bus or train transportation). It has a sit down bar to enjoy becore or after a show depending on time you attend a show. Its very easy to see from the street (in front of the building only). It is large with plenty viewing time option. It is one of my favorite Boston theatre locations. However, it is disappointing the the cost of admission is reflective of its location; significantly higher than other theatre locations.

This is our second time coming here. Last time we watched the chipmonks movie (many years ago!) and last week we came here to watch Ip Man 4. This is a huge movie threatre that has many screen rooms, and they show indie movies and foreign movies that are showing at limited theatres, such as Ip Man 4 which is a Hong Kong movie. My one criticism is the attendants arent very helpful when it comes to military discount. They claim military discount applies for movies after 4:00pm and you can use the touch screen to get the discount, but thats not true! You must go to the second floor and line up to see an attendant face to face to get the military discount.

This is a cool movie theater - its huge and has a bar and its right off the common. I found their ticketing really confusing, though. Pretty nice and large movie theater. The only odd part is that they have no movie ticket attendants. They use machine kiosks and touch screens to facilitate purchases. It’s a bit unnerving thinking that that AMC has found a way for machines to do this and it’s only a matter of time before they use machines to replace the people pouring your drinks and popcorn. Regardless, it’s a pretty large movie theater with great views of the Commons.

The theater is its a convenient location by the Boston Commons. They always seem to run out of coke in the soda fountains (as well as any other common sodas youd enjoy, but it does inspire trying the less popular flavors). The theater seats are a bit dated, and the spacing between rows is a little cramped. Its not dirty, but its not really a theater where youd want to bring your close friends for a new release.

This place is very nice and the structure of it beautiful. I would have given it 4 stars but it was really dirty the day we went. I thought maybe it was just the theater but it was more than that. Lots of theaters, with all of the new movie premieres, You can be a Stubs Premiere and it wont really matter, youll wait in line. The theaters can be dirty during peak weekend times. Parking is bad and expensive, so take the train or ride share. Lots of good pre or post dinner/drink spots close by, like Fins Sushi or drinks at the Ritz Carlton. Theres also a Starbucks on the corner. Train station immediately across the street.

I was not impressed at all! The location is convenient, the actual building and theater is beautiful. However, there is very little parking and the staff is not friendly! While buying tickets my son had to use the restroom, he was told he could not use the bathroom until he had a ticket. Really??? Then, when we got upstairs to order food, the young man behind the counter did not hear my order the first or the second time and turned to me to say, What? So, when I corrected him and asked would it be so hard to say, Would you please repeat that? He got mad, rolled his eyes and say, How can I help you?...With an attitude! If this was not enough when I went to end of the counter to pick up my food, the young lady gave me the wrong order. I told her it was wrong. She said Will this is what they charged you for, so... I waited. Thinking she would go and verify that the order was correct, but she stood there looking at me like I did something wrong. So, I said to her, Instead of telling me what I ordered, how about you apologize and correct it. Then she got mad walked off then came back with the right order. I didnt even want to stay to see the movie after all that. But I had already paid for two tickets, food, drinks and $20 parking. Never again!!! I could have watched a movie at home and saved $100!!! Oh and did I mention the lobby and bathroom was dirty??? Ok, Im done!

The movie was wonderful! And I saw another amazing movie there awhile back. That is the best part of this, and the fact that they treat you like adults, and leave you alone! to watch the movie! It is a grand place, too. And there is a sitting area to have a meal 1st (better to bring your own! pricey and none of my food. Popcorn is ridiculous- $$$). A nice place to enjoy a movie, and they have a good selection. Easy to get to by public transportation. I felt safe coming and going there, since its a busy, well-lit area.
