I played the first SS game last night. Great laughs, good sportsmanship, the Refs were helpful. For anyone looking for organized pick up or that entry back into the game, highly recommend the SS.

I have had very negative experiences with StinkySocks.

After many years away from the game I got back on the ice after getting out of the military. When it was time to look for a league to play in I discovered StinkySocks Hockey. One of the many drawing points was that there were many different levels available to play in and they are serious about keeping the level of play fair. The league is run by an excellent staff who is very attentive to the needs of the players. I have been playing in this league for the past four and a half years and after every game I find myself itching to get booked into the next game with them. Consistently have two goalies and a ref at each game which is hard to come by in any league no matter where you live. No more than 10 players allowed per bench which allows for a ton of ice time for each player. The list could go on and on about the pros with the league.They also run a few tournaments each year that are a blast. A full weekend of hockey and festivities with a bunch of like minded people who know that tomorrow we all have to go to our full time jobs and know that the Stanley Cup is not in the building nor do we have any chances of winning it and the scouting team for the Bruins are not looking for their next big diamond in the ruff at one of our games. No contact and no fighting which they are beyond serious about. I have played in other games and leagues around the area and constantly find myself enjoying these games more and more.
