This place is so awesome, so much fun and they followed all the covid safety precautions, even down to sanitizing the age handles between throwers. Such a good atmosphere.

Great customer service and such a blast to get out of the house, social distance, and learn something new! Shannon was a delight from the moment we walked in, to teaching us proper axe throwing skills, to our exit. Check this place out!

Ellewoods Hatchet House wow! They have such a great atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time there with my girlfriends. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful on teaching us how to throw the axes. Its a great place to go and hang out with your family/friends during this strange and stressful covid time. Who knew throwing axes was such a great stress relief. Theres plenty of room to spread out, they even have a garage door which they kept open for fresh air flow. I would definitely recommend checking out if you havent!

Neat Place with an awesome vibe. Nicely decorated & super clean. Plenty of room to social distance & feel safe. Other games to play & mingle with your group. We went on a warm day & huddled around the fans to stay cool. No A/C that we could tell, but being in Boone that may not be a big problem for the few hot days they are. Only downfall we had was our group was charged differently & all played the same amount of time. The girl at the register seemed a little lost & almost over charged us $10 before I spoke up. Would return for group fun & hopefully they will get the pricing issue fixed.

Super cool vibe in here! We spent an hour here during a rainy vacation day and had a great time. The owners were very accommodating but not overbearing at all. So much fun!

If you are anywhere near Boone, go out of your way to visit Elwoods Hatchet House! My wife and I spent the best evening of our week in Blowing Rock at Elwoods. The price is beyond fair, the service is excellent, and the facility is brand new and big with lots of room to social distance. Shannon, the owner, quickly taught two beginners how to throw and stick the variety of available hatchets. This would be a cool place for a birthday, a business team-building, family gathering, or a bachelor / bachelorette party.

This is a fun place to do something different! Theres a pool table, cornhole, air hockey and axe throwing, as well as food and beer. The owners, Shannon and Lauren, are super friendly and even take music requests . Me and my partner really enjoyed it and definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Amazing place to destress and enjoy company of others. If you want a fun activity, go and the owners will walk you through the basics. After you get it down you can play a match or just throw to have fun. Either way it is a blast.

Great experience. Went with two of my adult kids and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m sure this will go on our list of things we need to do next time we’re up in the Boone area.

My friends and I went this past Sunday, and we all had a fantastic time! The owners are super sweet, the food is delicious, and its overall a great way to spend time with your friends and/or blow off some steam. We definitely plan on coming back in the future.
