I took my 14 year old here for his birthday......he didn’t like it. These kids today are only interested in Fortnite and VR lol. I thought he would enjoy a blast from the past with dad. Next time I’ll go with my own friends, we’ll have a much better time. This place is very nostalgic for sure. Now they need to expand while serving good pizza that’ll be the cherry on top no doubt.

Had my sons bday party here. Staff is awesome to work with, very responsive via phone and email. The place is great for all ages! Theres a space in the back for private rental to bring in smaller groups. Kids loved it, had a blast and kept entertained for hours.

They have a bunch of really cool arcade games, its only $15 per person, and you get a free drink! Super awesome, my step son loved it!

I went here on my break home from College with a group of friends. It was G.O.A.T! WE HAD A ABSOLUTE BLAST! What a wonderful place to have a full day of fun. We got their and played for about two hours then were able to leave go do some shopping and went to eat. The admission price was good for the whole day so we were able to go back for another round of fun. Being a college kid I appreciate that kind of great deal. Definitely will be coming back.

Im an arcade fan, it was always a treat to go to the arcade growing up and Ive been to quite a few. Prince Arcade brings that magic back to life with an amazing selection of classics and the quality is outstanding. Some of these games are custom built from a stack of lumber and original parts from games set out to pasture. Prince Arcade brings these games back to life and not to put in a museum but to be PLAYED all for $15 a day. The price is great, these games in 1985 (Go Bears) were $.25 a play now with inflation thats around $.60 in 2020, some of these games in the 90s started to cost $.50 a play or even $1.00. Prince Arcade captures that magical arcade feeling. Bonus features theres a party room for Birthdays and instead of charging people $5 for a drink theyre complimentary? Who does that? My son and I have been to a few other local arcades and I ask him for reviews and which one he likes best and Prince is the King.

I always have a great time at Prince Arcades and so does anyone that goes with me. Their machines have great upkeep, which is no easy task considering they use CRT monitors and no emulation. Everything is as it was from back in the day, all PCB. Its not cheap to maintain these machines.As someone who has been gaming since 1980, the price couldnt be better and those who question the price, you need to remember that compared to a pay to play arcades, $15.00 is quite a bargain. These games were setup to take your money in the 80s and 90s. They are not forgiving in anyway and require you to actually put time into a game to become skilled. Not convinced, try this challenge, beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in under $5.00, if you can, then go onto Turtles in Time and do the same thing. The $15.00 price is looking pretty good then. They also have pinball which at a pay per play arcade could be quite costly. So yeah, Id say $15.00 is quite a deal since going to a movie is a small fortune these days for a family for a 90 minute movie and Prince Arcades is an all day pass and gives you refreshments on the house.The location is great as its located in the Bolingbrook Promenade Mall, the admission fee works out, as it prevents the arcade from being just a hang out. For the adults who are non-players, drop the kids off, go shopping, go to a restaurant or have a few drinks while they are having fun. This is a really great idea and hours of endless fun for the whole family. Where else can you pay only $15 and play unlimited games all day??? Prince arcade that’s where, we love going here with our daughter and playing, it’s great to see the kids today get to play some of the games we grew up playing. Plus if you have little ones you know how fast they want to change games and here with them on free play they can change games as often as they like.. really great place, we have been 4 times already since they opened and will definitely be back..

A great entertaining place for the whole family to enjoy! The adults get to play old school games and if your like us with grandkids it was a blast showing them the games you grew up on and seeing how much they love it. The price is $15 per person for the whole day. You can come and go as you like. Being able to do that was a treat. I could get some shopping in and when the kids started getting bored with me running them around from store to store we could play some games. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. The entire atmosphere at Prince Arcades is priceless. You fill a space with nostalgic and up to date video games, pinballs, and other simulators and an unbelievable magic happens. Everyone becomes family. This is a cozy arcade with 80 or 90 games. All set on free play. The owners purchase drinks so you have complimentary drinks the whole day. When you buy your admission, it is good for the day. WHICH MEANS, you can go explore whatever and come back. Open to close for that day. You cannot beat that pricing! Great work to the owners and staff. They are awesome and prove it every time I visit!

Recently visited this arcade and I was really impressed with the quality of games available for us to play! I can’t imagine the upkeep but you can tell the owners really take care of these awesome machines!! And such a great price to come play! I’ll definitely be visiting again!!

Such an amazing arcade. The game selection is phenomenal, they all were functioning well (One was even being fixed while I was there; no downtime allowed here!), and the owner is simply amazing. This place is A1, best of the best. From the moment you walk through the doors you are welcomed like family. What arcade offers componentry beverages while playing. I have been here many of times people give come in and just said they wanted to check it out and they say feel free to look around. I cant say enough good stuff about prince arcade. Love this arcade. Great staff, great location, great game selection, ripped right out of time from the 90s! Plus free water, free soda, free coffee, killer party room! Also had amazing experience with the woodshop. Had some custom arcade cabinets built for a project, the staff listened and worked with me on a high difficulty design, churned out a great product, and quickly! Very accommodating, highly recommend both!

I changed my response from 2 stars to 5 - I was there about 4+ months ago (see below). Returned a few weeks ago and they fixed all the problems, and it also helped that I went on a day off from work which was also a school day. B/c there were so few people - it was awesome ;o) Games worked great. And the workers were VERY friendly and helpful. I guess the moral of the story - avoid the kids ha-ha.I went there a few months ago, and I am reading the reviews. I sort of had a not-so-good time. The workers were great - VERY kind. But perhaps I went there on an off day? There were so many kids running into me as I was playing different games. Literally, as I was playing games, I got bumped and moved off of my feet, countless times. And some kids were were hitting my flippers as I was actually playing pinball; random kids just walked up to the machine and started hitting the flippers. I thought of going back because there were a few games I liked (dont play Rampage, it stops in the middle of the game and re-sets?!), the workers are so nice, the place is very well maintained, but I have not returned for the reasons I stated.

This place is amazing. Great selection of games that are all well cared for and work perfectly, which can be harder to find in arcades. The owner is really nice and the place is super friendly for children. They even have step-stools for the kids to use to play! I will definitely be going to this arcade regularly.

Incredible place. The staff are very friendly and treat customers as guests rather than customers. The free soda is an excellent selling point for this place as well as the very low entry price of $15 for the whole day. You dont even have to be in the building the whole time as long as you tell them youre leaving and will come back. Although they are smaller than some arcades, they are a lot cleaner and still do have just about as many games, because a lot of the games are on cabinets with a bunch of different games to choose from built in. This place also has a few cabinets that are exclusive to Prince Arcades. On top of all the great arcade games they have, including a good selection of multiplayer games ranging from 2-4 players, they have some incredible pinball machines. Some of which are brand new and even have built in digital screens, like the Guardians of the Galaxy pinball. I came with here with my 7 year olds and delighted at how much fun it was. The staff was excellent with my newbe players.They even showed them some special moves on the pinball machines and the girls were thrilled to get pinball certified! $15.00 for all day play! For the price of 15 dollars, you play as long as you want in a clean arcade filled with classics arcade games and with World Best and House Best scores to give yourself a challenge. Plus I like that you can leave and come back without paying again. I truly enjoyed myself there and probably make it a weekend thing for myself.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always a blast! The owner and all the employees are great to talk to and are very knowledge and helpful with all of the machines on the floor! They just had their one year celebration and put a brand new in the box Guardians of the Galaxy pinball in the arcade!! They also have 6 other pinballs and a bunch of great classic games! They also have a wonderful party room with great seating areas a tv! Definitely going to plan my next party here!

This places admission policy is ridulous. Why would everyone who enters have to pay whether youre playing or not? This entertainment establishment is no different than a haunted trails or a bowling alley. One can simply walk in and not be forced to pay if theyre not playing.. I am an 88 year-old great-great-grandfather would like to take the little guys here to play...I have no interest in playing but still have to pay.....totally wrong and I know other feel the same. ..To be clear I am not complaining about the admission price itself, I think its well worth it for all day play...I am only disagreeing with their ALL HUMANS PAY policy. Its not right and im sure they know it....A 1year old baby should not have to pay to enter.

What a fun place! Brought back lots of memories of playing at the local arcades back in the 80s!

Took my toddler (he is 3) out for dinner and he wanted to play a shooting game like the one they have at enchanted castle. I remembered this place opened up so figured I would check it out. I arrived around 8:30. A gentleman came to the door and I asked how much it was, he said $15. I specifically asked is my son too young to play, he said no. Honestly that price isnt bad considering you can play all games as much as you want.We were in and out within 15 minutes!!HOWEVER my issue was being charged $30 for me and my 3 year old. Now common sense tells you, there is no way in hell this little toddler can play any of the games without assistance he cant reach them without assistance nor would I ever leave them to play alone. So why charge for a toddler? With that being said, NO this is NOT a place for kids under 7, and geared more for an older kid and adults.The place is a bit tight and I can see it getting very uncomfortably crowded as there isnt much space between the games and standing area. Overall is it amazing? No. Its ok for OLDER KIDS AND ADULTS if your bored and want to pass some time.Thanks for the response to the owner. Also, no where did I compare enchanted castle to your establishment. And your response also clearly proves my point, ANY BODY THAT TAKES A SEAT...My toddlers seat was ON MY LAP! Just like an airplane or a train and FYI Movies DO NOT CHARGE FOR 3 AND UNDER that sit on your lap. You should brush up on how that works before responding with such sarcasticness and sounding silly!! And side note I wasnt thinking it would be free but discounted for children below a certain age range.

Jeremy and Jen Fox graciously opened on the coldest day in decades. My husband and I brought our daughters and had a great time. We were welcomed and made to feel at home playing a great selection of games; there is something for everyone. As the non-gamer in the family I was able to sit and relax between games, enjoying a complimentary beverage and recharging my phone. Definitely will be going back, not too many places where everyone in the family can find something to do and have fun for HOURS! Awesome service, great atmosphere, I can’t say enough good things.

The workers know us by name and remember details about your scores. The owner will personally bring you a free beverage or stool to sit on! Their staff will help you order food from nearby Rock Bottom Brewery! It’s so personal -we’ve NEVER seen anything like this! Prince Arcades has made this a fun experience for our whole family!!!! Im a pinball fanatic. Their games all worked great. My husband loved the upkeep of all the games. We stayed 4 hrs. And had tons of fun. I recommend this to anyone who loves arcades.

What an amazing time! For $15, I had the privilege to introduce my 3 year old grandson to the world of arcades! He....had....A BLAST! Of course he doesnt get it all yet, but he couldnt stop talking about it. He even started carrying around the step stools so he could reach the games. Bonus, Gramma got to go back after Dad picked up and play by herself. Its so much MORE fun to play when youre not worried about quarters or tokens! We will definitely be back!!!! And for the moms/dads that dont want to play. They can charge up their devices, have water/coffee/pop on the house and just chill out while their kids play in a warm and safe environment.

This place is amazing!I took my 8 year old son here after his xbox broke and he really just wanted to game out. And it was one of the funnest nights we have had in a while. Soo many games. We spent about 2.5 hours and were not even close to bored.Lots of the popular classic games and even a few I have never heard of. Lots of variety. $15 a person for unlimited time and gameplay is nothing compared to what Ive spent at Dave and busters in 30 minutes! I would have to declare bankruptcy to spend this much time and play this many games at one of the big chain arcades!I met the owner and talked to him for a little while and this guy was super nice and you can just see the passion and happiness he has for this place. He is really doing a great thing here and I hope he is very successful and keeps it going.If you have time to kill or want something fun and different to do, I definitely recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed!Oh and theres free sodas and water. Now thats hospitality!

I would prefer a better selection or lower price, seeing as how galloping ghost is just down the road with a huge selection for just $5 more, and their one pinball machine was down with no real ETA on a fix, but for a small shop I still had nonstop fun for hours, they do have complimentary soda and coffee, and the people that run the place are FAR more pleasant than those at GG!
