This place has very fun water slides, not just outdoors, but indoors to! Well trained swimming instructors and and lifeguards that are always on high alert! The only problem was that the slides cut my arms and back from the tubing placement and my son had his swimsuit tear. Overall, I would recommend!

This is a very good pool place if you live around this area and dont want to drive far to Wisconsin Dells. It has stuff for kids of all ages to have fun, so thats very appreciated. Its Lazy river is calming for adults and there is a children pool area as well as fun slides for teenagers. Its not Mount Olympus but It is very good place to go if you want something local. I think I would give 5 stars if they had a food court area! But, I do love to go anyways!

First, i want to note how clean and fresh the building is when you first enter. Then the area and hallways are always smelling like it was recently disinfected. The ladies locker room/showers are always litter free, clean and orderly.Thank you so much for your maintenance staff /crew. I think they are the last sometimes to be commended on what they do.

This was my second time coming here for a kids birthday party. They have the party after hours so the entire indoor pool area is yours! There were 4 lifeguards for about 20 kids in the water, so it was awesome and everyone was well looked after. The staff is young but friendly and assisted the party with their needs. Overall a great experience.

Very clean and well cared for. Good for any age group. Zero depth pool inside and out for little ones. Splash area outside very cute for little kids, but wish it was soft foam instead of concrete. Water is warmed so kids arent shivering but still refreshing outside on hot days. Lazy river outside is nice but needs more tubes when crowded. Ample seating during most times and grassy areas are always available outside. Food available for purchase outdoors and you can bring outside food in. Vending machines indoors during winter. Pricing is good for season passes and individual days, even for non residents of Bolingbrook. Parking always available.

My family and I visited Pelican Harbor for a birthday party. The park itself was fantastic with lots to do for the whole family. They have a splash section with various sprinklers/showers that the children love. They have a few slides, a main pool, plus a lazy river. Additionally, they have an indoor section with another pool, a toddler section, and two slides. I believe admission is $16 which I believe was fair given all that there is to do. Also, there is plenty of shaded areas for you and your family to relax in.

The last visit here was extremely upsetting. My family knew that some attractions would be closed due to it being nonpeak hours, but almost everything was closed. You could only go into the water up to 2 feet and swim in the lap pool, which we only found out after the long drive here. I was yelled at for not swimming laps because I was taking a 5 break, even though there were no other patrons waiting to go in the lanes. The life guard called me sweetie as well, which felt condescending. Not at all worth the long drive and very, very disappointing for a trip we were looking forward to for over a month.Edit; We tried to a spend some more time here since we paid to get in and quickly noticed we all had blue paint on the bottoms of our feet and hands. It wasnt there earlier so it must have come from the blue paint near the pool or locker room. We later had to leave because there was a terrible smell - like a methane burning garage dump or water reclamation center. It may have been the pump house, but it was enough to chase us out!

Yes if there is water Iam up for it. I brought the grand-kids here a couple times during the summer. It is open all year but outside only in summer. Great way to keep cool on a hot muggy night in august. the park has resident and non-resident prices, and a whole list of membership options to choose. for non-swimmers they do offer lessons at certain times. the lifeguards do try to keep kids in line, sometimes they cant control all the running around. this is a good way to dip your tootsies or just relax and watch the grand-kids swim. best time might be the summer as you can go outside. read the web page and enjoy the water park. Have Fun!!! I forgot they they do have food there.

The kids absolutely loved this place. The only thing that was bad, and I mean really bad were the washrooms. When I saw the condition of the washrooms my kids and I did not go back there again. Staff needs to make sure that the bathrooms are clean. I understand that everyone is in the pool but when you have tissue, pee, and other things too disgusting to mention covering the bathroom floor, management should be smart enough to send someone to clean it... If they paid me, I would have definitely cleaned it so my children wouldnt have had to use that disgusting bathroom.

Had my two sons in their swimming classes and would practice with them after their classes for about 15minutes. I have been doing this since last year, then one of the personnel walked up to me last month after their class whiles practicing and asked if I was a member which I answered no. She then said, you can stay if you are a member but if not then get out. I got my kids ready after we were done then asked her what was their policy for after class, she said, you are able to stay till 15 minutes after the swimming class. I called the manager of the place and reported this incidence. Will I take my kids back there? NO!!! Staff should have the respect for people who patronize them and not disrespect them. The staff should have explained their policy because this same staff if there every day I take my kids to this place. She was out right rude and disrespectful! They just lost two customers.

I took my family here for our weekend activity. The staff was great and considerate. My kids had a blast they didnt want to leave. The place was nice and clean which I always appreciate. I believe the water could have been a little bit warmer but once I got use to it I was fine. Also the amount of people there made it feel a little over crowded. Not only did I accidentally bump into a few people I as well was bumped into several times. The type of crowd they had though made it okay people were mindful of others and all seem to be in a great mood. I didnt know that they offered free life jackets to remote till halfway through but that was very helpful as I was trying to teach my youngest son how to swim.

Expensive as ever. Not much too do. No deep end, the only deep part that you could swim in was 5 feet. The slides were small and slow. On weekends it opens at noon and they really wont make any exceptions even when its 11:59 am with 109° weather.

This is a great pool for the Summer time. Four water slides, lazy river, diving board, large walk in pool, and splash pad.My biggest complaint is the sand area. Why they ever decided to put such a large play sand area that close to the pool is baffling. People do not rinse off after being in the sand and go directly into the pool. If you go to the Twilight Swim hours, the bottom of the pool has a lot of sand and its disgusting.

Review №34

We love this pool we used to go here almost every day. We we bought the membership this year which is much more worth it. $14 per person a month, which seriously beats the $16 per person a day entry fee. You can bring your own snacks, coolers wagons pretty much anything, no grills though. The outside pool is nice there is a lazy river with a small waterfall and ripples, a few large slides diving board, a bigger pool with lap lanes, and zero depth entry. There is also a sand pit and a kids splash pad which is just concrete and sprinklers. The inside pool is open year-round which is included in your $14 a month membership it does have some wacky hours though I would call to confirm before you go. The inside pool is a little bit small it does have a larger kids area with two big slides and a zero depth entry and some buckets and on the other side are the lap lanes and a small area that’s 4 feet deep. On about three days a week in the evenings they are booked for swim lessons and swim team so they are closed for those hours. Attached is an indoor locker room. On the other side of the locker room is the Bolingbrook gym which is not included in the $14 a month membership but you can purchase that for an additional fee. No floaty’s or noodles allowed in the pool lifevests are fine as long as they are Coast Guard approved, I think they even supply some but they are usually oversized so I would bring your own. I recommend either bringing your own lock for the locker room, a lockbox to attach to your chair by the pool, or you can purchase a lock for six dollars at the front desk. I had to learn the hard way because I had my snack stolen the first time we went, thankfully it wasn’t something more valuable. Get here early chairs are sparse especially under the umbrella in the shade. The food is OK credit cards are accepted. but the menu is not big.My only huge complaint is that on more than a few occasions the stench of sewage has been overpowering coming from the gutters also I have seen the remnants of an exploded diaper on the side of the pool and no one there to clean it up. Also the outdoor locker rooms are never very clean. The bottom of the pool is always full of sand and the pool walkway is always full of snacks so I was suggest flip-flops or water shoes. Other than that have fun.On another note, The water at this pool seems to be warmer than other pools we have gone to which is pleasing when you live in Chicago and it always seems to be cold.

30+ people with little kids under scorching sun waiting in line to buy passes on memorial day weekend and you only had ONE cashier open??!?I waited a half hour with my 2yr old crying in the sun on a 90° day and a manager came out asking a couple of people if they were paying cash.I had cash and was told Id have to wait at the end of the line for other people with cash. Then he just stood there staring at people in line without asking who had cash. Seriously? You should be better prepared for a busy day. Had 4 lanes but only ONE open. No other business would let this happen. Surely you had some people there cross trained to handle a register. Very disappointed.

Decent place to have a good time.PSA to any customer who “reserves” a space. Please go to the staff and ask where you are being placed before going up to any seating area. Today I witnessed a very rude older woman who approached a family and demanded they get their stuff and move because she “reserved” it for $100. She continuously told them they had to move because they had a reservation at a certain time when in reality she was placed somewhere else. She tried getting staff to move the family, but was unsuccessful. Plus, she did not apologize for the disgusting way she talked to the family. She even tried sitting near the family for whatever reason although her entire party was in the area she “reserved” for $100.If anyone approaches you during your time there and demands you move, unless there is a sign that says “reserved”, do not move and ask for the manager to assist you. This woman was truly horrible and I would hate for someone else to go through a similar experience.

We visited Pelican Harbor for a family birthday party before the out door park was opened for the season, so this is for the indoor experience only. For starters the party space is a bit small, time restricted, and only separated from the public space by a few foot tall bamboo screen/railing. The restrooms/showers were fairly clean for public rooms. No complaints. They had an ample number of life gaurds on duty for the size of the pools. There is a pool for laps, with the ropes separating lanes, and also a pool that starts out shallow and tapers into a deeper end. Theres a small slide for the younger children, self filling/dumping buckets hanging over head in one section, and a larger slide for older kids that lets out in the deeper end of the second pool mentioned. After our time in the party section we were welcome to stay and swim at no cost to us, which was a nice option.Overall, Id recommend checking this place out.
