10 of us ate there. Service was excellent. Food was good. The steak I had, had a really good flavor, but was somewhat tough. Would eat there again.

We had a business meeting there. It is now owned by the city. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. The room was a little small.

My mom invited me to AKA BALLROOM & BANQUET ITS VERY NICE VIEWS AND PLACE TO HANG OUT CHILL OUT EAT DRINKS

I have been going here to swim since I was a child. I understand the city is purchasing the club. This will make it public I think.

Very nice accommodations. It was a little chilly in the building overall.

Worse experience of my golfing career. Greens are deplorable. 3 hours to play 9. 20 minutes to play par 4 #9. The cheap new rates reflect the quality of the experience. Avoid!

Good course with tiny but fast greens that roll true... best greens in the area but the grounds crew has zero golf etiquette, they just cut in front of golfers and tell at each other in the middle of your swings... if they replaced those guys, Id play at least weekly. .

Really good value for the price. It is not the course it used to be. Greens are still in good shape but the fairways and rough are patchy. I enjoyed the round.

At least my oysters were cold cause everything else was. Not going back. I never knew you could wrap crab legs around your finger without it snapping

So I just had a wedding at Fincastle on the Mountain on May 5th 2018.I never received a quote on the services I’d pay for, I tried to pay them 2 weeks before and still no idea of what needed to be paid for.And when I thought things couldn’t get worse, they did. The night before the wedding A PROM TOOK PLACE DURING MY REHEARSAL !I had thought I would get extended hours to set up for my wedding (since I couldn’t decorate with a prom going on till midnight but was kicked out 10 minutes before they closed.- staff didn’t show up till 10am, my wedding was at 2 and I needed to put centerpieces on tables which family and friends had to do.- the dishes wasn’t washed to be able to have a fully matching dish set for the wedding.- My vendor Jessica Basham didn’t get someone to put up my pink ceiling decor (which I already paid for and was told no one else could touch the walls, ceilings, or doorways)- There wasn’t enough plates for cake for my guest and clear plastic would be the option I only had. She said “it is McDonald’s finest” in front of the bridal party. I reminded her that I actually asked in advance if I needed to supply cake plates and was told it would be taken care of, which it wasn’t a couple hours before the wedding.- As I was getting ready with my bridal party, the staff rushed in and started changing in the room next to us. Stating “when does this wedding even begin?” I answered “2” and they laughed. I then heard them say “my shift ends at 2 so I’m out” and “mine ends at 4 I already got my 40hrs” Everyone’s mouth dropped as I was getting my hair styled.- I had received a call about my main entree, and the chicken wouldn’t be as we discussed. Again a few hours before the wedding as it wasn’t even purchased yet.- There was pasta remains inside my guests salad.- Never seen the green beans we agreed on to be served as a side.- My bridesmaids had to physically move all the tables and chairs before getting ready. Also had to put linens on and iron.- Was exhausted and pouring sweat after moving iron tables. (Which the staff smoked in during my photos and made fun of the prom from the night before)- A guest asked for a cup for a drink and the staff member said “I already washed 140 glasses! Seriously?” And my guest asked for a plastic cup.- My family and friends (during the reception) had to clean up because they didn’t plan for the wedding.Basically if it could go wrong it did. I’m just letting future brides know that fincastle wasn’t my best decision. Maybe try a different location.If it hadn’t been for family and friends the wedding wouldn’t have turned out as beautiful and perfect as we made it. Goodluck future brides!
