Meh.. typical low level public course. Good for the once a year hack.

For the price this is a 5 star course. Good greens, tightish fairways and real rough. Really liked it.

Decent course, good for beginners like myself, serve beer bright and early.

Great putting greens, a nice looking golf course overall. Good food at the clubhouse. My golf group are frequent players here. We affectionately refer to the Meadows as our Country Club !

The place stinks. Horrible grass care, no knowledge on how to start and pace golfers. They are a greedy “slam as many people on the course” type of facility that had you waiting 20 minutes at every tee box and won’t refund your money. I’ll never play there again.

Nice place for a birthday party for kids. Employees were pleasant.

Its not the best place to golf nor the worst either! it does live up to his reputation of a dump and thats because of the sand traps is terrible as always you think they would have it together after so many years of being open they would fix them by now but they havent! The good thing I can say about this course is its laid out nicely a few holes give you some tough play.

Not the best conditioned course but there are a few challenging holes. It is very reasonable and you get to swing a club. Rounds could be a bit slow.

Staff is incredibly friendly, but needs to be more authoritative with pace of play as we didnt tee off until 30 min after schedule and the round still took 5 hours after that. Course condition is pretty good except for tee boxes that could use a ton of re-sanding. Overall great value, the course is challenging and enjoyable.

Good value course. They keep the greens in great condition and at 6500 yards, it’s not a walk in the park.

Golf-wise , good value, no complaints.BUT the day after I played here for first time, was notified my credit card info was counterfeited/stolen and used at a gas station, restaurant, and bar all within few miles of course. Now I cannot be certain, but seeing as I havent used card in awhile and NEVER been to blue island/midlothian before it seems very circumstantial. If I ever come back will be using Cash.

I like playing here regularly on weekdays and pace is always great. Staff is really friendly most of the time. Overall, I enjoy coming here and Ive seen the course hold up longer than usual this season than in past years. Good practice course with some reachable par 4s.Some cons:Hate seeing them spray paint the greens while play is happening. Its the first time Ive experienced a course doing this and especially while people are hitting into it just made it unusual.If youre not in the fairway, youll probably spend more money in lost balls than the round itself. The rough gets pretty bad and when it gets mowed, there are clumps everywhere. With the blind shots that you think cleared and are in the fairway, they are usually never found which can be pretty frustrating at times.I will continue to come back if the cost remains in-line with the course. I go out there with buddies from work a few times a month and always end up having a good time.

You get what you pay for $25 for 18 holes not the best of course but the service was very good extremely friendly food was good

Probably one of the worst golfing experiences I have had. I drove over an hour to golf here with high hopes of a good day, but left this place with no intention of ever coming back. By the 3rd or 4th hole, the course ranger started harassing us. He kept telling us to golf faster almost every whole. We were already golfing at a quick pace as it was.He was very rude and disrespectful by saying the one of the golfers in our group wasn’t very good. By the 10th hole we wanted to throw in the towel. What a tremendous disappointment. If I. If I could give this place a half star instead of a whole one I would. If you want to have a ranger breath down your back the whole round then go ahead and book a tee time.

Im in highschool at Eisenhower and I like the price and the way the ground and feild works with everything its a nice place

Nice course. Got out there after a overnight rain and most of the water was drained off except a few areas that really messed up great approach shots. Also, the sand traps are a joke. They are more like dirt traps than anything

Great 18 hole course just outside Chicago. Very well maintained, better than any park district course. Ive played over 30 rounds in Chicago this season and this course ranks in the top 3.

Good course, affordable, has some interesting holes

Very average course that can be dangerous as it gets crowded. It has what we call a suicide design; where as the holes often hit into each other. When there is a heavy rain, forget about it because the drainage system is sub par (pun intended).

Not bad. Wide open for the most part but challenging.

There a reason why the call this the dump. Course conditions are marginal at best.
