Love this place! The kids love the pool, theres so much space even when it seems crowded once you in the pool theres so much space. The life guards are great and it seems like everyone does a great job of being respectful of those around them. The snack bar is great for a snack if youve been there a while. Its a membership, but totally worth it. Showers and changing rooms are very clean.

Visited with my granddaughters who are a bit too old for the wading pool but they had a great time. I love the times segments and the low numbers. Very good experience.

This is the place to be for all your Summer Aquatic activities. Blue Ash Rec allows rentals for Birthdays and more. They even offer pool side rentals. We love the new pool play area for the little ones. This pool is so relaxing.The Rec also offers a hot tub, showers, lockers and a sauna. They even have a swim suit extractor. Which is a SUPER PLUS!They also provude an indoor fitness center, gymnasium and a mini arcade area. They offer many activities and classes to sign up for, such as Zumba and Swim lessons.Also, theres a playground on thr opposite side of the building which is also great and ideal.The staff here is super friendly, most of which have worked here for years.

Excellent, always clean and neat and plenty of cardio machines. Would be nice if they could increase the air conditioning on the upstairs fitness center a little bit but still good

We enjoy everything about the rec center except the front desk and cafeteria employees are not very friendly and make you feel like you are bothering them and that they dont enjoy their job. It would be refreshing to have a friendlier staff. The facility is great and the trainers and staff in childcare are also very nice. But the cafe and front desk employees perhaps need incentives or management needs to push better customer service.

Nice gym and good place for workout..

Its worth for the membership. There is a pool board, table tennis and few other indoor games and a paid mountain climbing. Hot water pool is available all through the year for adults and the other open pool during summer.

Love going to the BARC. Great workout facility, love having the cafe, and affordable! Been going for 2 years and no plans to stop. Thanks BARC!

I love this place!!!! It is always so clean and orderly. I would just like to shoutout a front desk person who is so nice and by far the friendliest one, I havent seen her in a little bit but I havent been able to come as much. I cant remember her name but she is there every Thursday, I think her name is Claire but Im not 100% sure... anyway she is so friendly and if you see her make sure to say hi, shes great, along with all the other people that work in that building. I love coming in after work it is soooo relaxing. Thanks for being great Blue Ash!!!

I come here almost every week. It has everything one needs for the price. Its cheper then the YMCA there outdoor pool is huge. Good conditions of the fields and parks. Parks always have events going on so check them out and the ability to book shelters and room for free is awesome. You can have gathering or parties there and ive seen people do it. The basement room for the rec is decent really large, but for a large group an outdoor shelter would be better.

The little kids pool area was incredible and everything we saw was so well maintained! I tell everyone I can about how much fun my little one had while spending time here!

The pool is very seldom clean. Same hairballs on Sat and Sun. Same bandaids floating in pool on Sunday that was there on Saturday. Rule 1. No food permitted on pool deck. I watch people eating on pool deck all the time and report it to pool management and noting is done. Been going on for years. Steps to get in and out of pool blocked by people sitting on them chatting. All posted rules not enforced. I wonder why they just dont abolish them

Great place, nice facilities and staff, the gym itself is pretty well equipped, lots of free weights and machine, and having an indoor running track is always a plus in my book. Only wish is that they had one more squat rack, you can never have enough of those, but theres plenty of equient of all types itll be rare to never I find I cant find the thing Im looking for.

Excellent facility and GYM , availability is high in most hours and the variety and quality of the machines is great.

I love living in the city of Blue Ash and especially love or Recreation Center. If you are a senior, it is only $25 per year to be a member. They always have top-of-the-line equipment that it is either new or an excellent condition because they take care of it. They offer numerous classes as well. Theres also a climbing wall for your kids. The climbing wall is open to anyone. You do not have to live in Blue Ash to use the climbing wall.

Came all the way from Southern California as a visitor, and it was amazing! Great times for all ages. I especially liked the adult swim time.

Too expensive, the guy at the counter did not seem interested in my business.EDIT: In answer to the question below, I walked in off the street asking about membership, was ignored by the young people at the counter and when I finally got their attention they didnt even have a price list or brochure and blew me off. I asked for a tour and was told to just take a look around. The price I was quoted seemed very high and did not include classes which are extra. These kids could not be arsed to help me. The Y is much friendlier, same or better amenities, and lower price, which includes classes. So I joined the Y.

I love the outdoors pool. No indoor pool here. Lots of stuff to do. Rockwall for the kids is awesome and Monday nights it is free.

Not a Blue Ash resident. I just stopped in there to pick someone up and had a look around in the place was amazing. they had new exercise equipment in the gym, a baseball facility downstairs. Definitely the people of blue Ash have a great thing there.

Great Facility. But to story jam is my favorite perion the pool is fabulous in the summer. unfortunately, you have to you live in Blue Ash or at least pay taxes there to use anything other than meeting rooms and the rock climbing wall.

The best recreation center in the Cincinnati area and costs only $100 a year for Blue Ash resident families. They have a world class gym with a running/walking track on 2nd floor, 2 racquetball courts, 2 basketball courts, a hot tub, play room with a TV, ping pong table, snooker, air hockey and gaming consoles, rock climbing inside the building. An adult pool with two slides and a kids pool. The kids pool was recently renovated and it looks great. There are 8 outdoor tennis courts with flood lights. All the facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I am so amazed about your center it was so heartwarming and the staff was polite and pleasant we came up from Dayton for the special Olympics basketball game on Friday March 1st even though we lost we still had a great time. Thank you for allowing us to use your facility and hope to see you in near future

The pool, the gym everything is good.. shelter-rooms for rent are also good, well maintained..

Our group had a large picnic at one of the shelters next door to the rec center. Nice tables and lots of room to party.

We were told we could not use the facility’s because we aren’t paying permanent taxes in Blue Ash. We’re staying in a hotel (long term) 1 mile from it because we just moved to the area. How awful to turn away a family that is paying taxes at a hotel down the street on a long term basis.

If your over 50 youll love this place.

Our family moved to Blue Ash for the rec center and Summit Park. Both are outstanding!

This is just the awesome place to come and enjoy... U can play indoors or outdoors , walk, swim.... Enjoy the Greenery.... Outdoor and Indoors both are awesome.... Love to come here again and again...

This is my local gym & I love going here. Place is well kept & staff is friendly. Bummed the pool isn’t open longer during the year

Nice place to spend time in gym and also todler room facility. They have a big play area outside where kids can play and also cycling track. Swimming pool is operating from memorial day to labour day. Very good recreation place for the people from Blue Ash.

The rec center indoor is 100 dollar a year family membership equipped with a game room huge two floor workout center .racket ball gyms. Two gyms for basket ball. Rock climbing walls and outdoor pools slides diving boards and water park for kids.outside there is a great park area for family recreation. A few trails leading to kazeebos with grills for family picnics with playground areas.also a outdoor theater of some kind as well

I go there to run in the mornings before work and its fantastic! I never have to wait for a treadmill and its not over crowded at all.

The facilities are really nice and really inexpensive. I really wish the gym was open at 5am in order to workout in the morning and make it to work on time (reason for the 4 out of 5 stars)The gym has been updated and has a lot of equipment, free weights, and classes. The swimming pool is awesome and huge. I never have problems finding a chair.The game room is small, but has a lot to offer. There is a Wii and various other games for kids to play on a rainy day.

Has everything you could ask for. Small, but generally can get on any equipment without waiting. Friendly staff, clean locker rooms. Great facility

Awesome facility that is always kept clean. The Blue Ash Rec has a lot to offer both the casual person working out, as well as the gym rat.

It wouldve been better if I was able to go under my uncles ID but since Im out of state they were tripping about me not having an ID. But I enjoyed the pool

Visited the Rec center one night and paid the $5 visitor fee. Coming from Cincinnati, I was super impressed with this facility. If I ever move to Blue Ash, getting a membership here will be one of the first things that I do.

Very good for tennis courts

Very nice facility and extremely friendly staff. Only one downside is that I am not allowed to bring my 11 year old brother into the gym. I know that for most people 11 is too young to be in the gym, but weve both been to other facilities and are both very well versed in this area.However that is the only downside and is more of a personal problem of mine, I just wish thato there were exceptions to people deemed qualified.

Friendly staff and a variety of things to do. Fitness classes are a great workout. The new family pool is a great addition.

Nice, clean facility with a great outdoor pool, indoor track, climbing wall and lots of activities and classes. Theres a decent variety of workout equipment - only downside is time limits/requirement to sign up for time slots for the cardio machines. My biggest gripe is that they limit the number of locker rentals, and the wait list is LOOOONG!

Amazing fitness center, great staff and variety of fitness equipments and trainers. Especially like the $5 1 hour group session with a certified trainer, burns around 1000 calories per session easily on circuit training.

Great place to work out. The rock wall is nice. Only downside is that they do not let you wear sandals.

Great place to relax. The pool can get a bit crowded but 15 minutes every hour is adults only which is nice. The hot tub is also very relaxing.

The second floor has a nice running track with large windows letting in natural light.

Excellent rec & fitness center. The outdoor pool is fantastic in the summer.

Nice range of excercise equipment and good selection of classes as well. Indoor climbing wall is a great perk, and there are pools and a mini-waterpark outside open in the summer. Hot tub and saunas in/near the changing rooms. Super friendly staff.
