Nice woods for hiking, a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights due to the folks having fun in Party Cove but that adds to the outing so enjoy!

Beautiful place and not very busy so normally you have it all to yourself. However it was pretty tick infected so be prepared for that.

Park near restrooms and take a 45 min hike up from parking lot along ridge line to rocky fossil beach. Bring water shoes if youre going to swim. Nice quiet less-traveled area. Be aware that half the hike is thru calf-high overgrown grasses--- I used pyrethrin on pants and backpack and still found 2 ticks on me.

Very fun. Great place to go fishing and take the kids and or pets well. While having privacy and quiet as well. You can also have a picnic and enjoy the view of the lake and boats that pass.

Nice peaceful cove to paddle around in with my kayak. There is no entrance fee and there is a nicer outhouse on site.

Pretty state park area. This is where you can rent double decker boats and chill on the trails. Really unique and cook spots if you know the trails and look for them!

Allens Creek just updated their restroom... poop at your own risk. Fishing is nasty right now and there is a sinkhole dip on the road into the area... steap ramp and no dock...

Easy ramp to use. With the water being at winter pool, you can use the secondary road to get on the ramp. Restrooms close by.

Great place for kayaking and fishing. Easy to use ramp, and its a no wake zone. Does tend to turn into a party spot on the weekends though.

Its just so rustic and beautiful, water was up 14 ft and many areas are under water bit it was worth the drive.

Cool large hill scaling mountain trails but some areas do require a vehicle with higher ground clearance

Great place to get away for a day and enjoy nature! Would have been 5 stars but they dont allow you to camp there anymore so dropped it to 4. Decent fishing!!
