Wonderful theater, nice picnic grounds, great performance. Its a fantastic night out for the family or a date. The Elizabethan style outdoor theater is a perfect setting for a night of picnicking and a Shakespeare play. The actors are a mix of equity, near-equity, and college age performers who give their all to make for good theater.

The improv guys are always clever and funny.

Love this place (Ewing Manor) and the Shakespeare Fest. Weve been coming here for 20+ years.Picnic beforehand on the lawn, listen to some jazz, or watch the improv etc, then enjoy Shakespeare as good as anywhere.Bloomington/Normal at its best.

If you love Shakespeare then you will love this theater. I just saw Hamlet there. The venue is super cool and the performance was awesome. This is a jewel of Bloomington-Normal that you must experience.
