This is a fun exhibit. It is tailored for social media content. It’s cute and playful but not much in terms of real substance. They have made it very entertaining and it’s great to take your mind off the world and just be immersed in a play land. There are many offerings of candy so keep that in mind if you’re bringing children. The staff is excellent and know their roles very well.

Fun, but not worth the money. You do get candy in each room and leave with quite a bit. This would be fun with a big group.

Loved it. Was way over priced to get in and I dont understand how a family can afford to go, but I throughly enjoyed it. Was several rooms filled with sculptures and pictures made of different kinds of candy. They had a description of each piece and the number of hours it took to make it. Had fun and would go back if it came to town again.

A bit on the pricier side for what all it entails, but definitely a unique thing to experience. Only four stars because of the confetti. The final room makes up for it & then some, though. Really fun. Be prepared to take lots of pictures. Great selfie opportunities throughout.

Based on the descriptions and reviews, I was expecting more of an art installation. Instead, Candytopia is a mildly grubby candy-themed playground with an overpopulation problem. A few of the sculptures were interesting and some of the activities might have been fun, but thats assuming you can get to them amidst the throngs. There were definitely too many people on my tour to experience much of anything other than bumping into strangers. In addition, the flow of the event could use some work. Youre held hostage in certain rooms long past the time it takes an adult visitor to experience whats there. Other rooms feel rushed. And children, children everywhere. I get it... its an event about candy, but either dont market to adults or make some time slots adult only. Bottom line: Candytopia is probably fun for young children, but the rest of us are better spending our $28 elsewhere.

Honestly, not worth the money. The workers rushed you through it and wouldn’t let you do it at your leisure. It was hard to get nice pictures with everyone in the way because some of it is like a “tour” where there’s a host talking. This is not like other modern fun museums. The worst part was the marshmallow pit. They only gave you about 3 minutes to go in. It was what my nieces and nephews were looking forward to the most. They got in late and told us we only had a minute and a half. There was no one else in line and they wouldn’t let us stay in there for another 3 minutes. The staff members even asked a manager and they said no. Well if you’re that stingy, then I don’t think you should charge $20-$28 a ticket. Absolutely ridiculous. A lot of people told me to let me know what I think of it before they get their tickets and I’m definitely telling them to just wait until another cool museum comes around this area.

This place was fun, the kids had a great time, but I felt rushed at some points and the experience was shorter than I expected for the price. The employees were all very cheerful and helpful but werent too in your face which made the experience more enjoyable.

What a cool and different exhibit. Everything was unique and there are plenty of hands on exhibits that you can really have fun with. I have never seen an immersive exhibit quite like this, well worth checking it out while it lasts

We recently visited Candytopia this past weekend. I was very skeptical because of the reviews I read. Man where those reviews wrong. It was AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and we did not feel rushed what so ever. The staff were so willing to take pictures and make sure our experience was great. It literally felt like you were at Willy Wonka’s candy factory!! I was not disappointed at all. I would 100% recommend going. Do not listen to the bad reviews. Well done Mall of America.

Imagine walking through a very poorly stocked candy store. Now, add the ability to take selfies. I just saved your family of 4 over 100 dollars. No joke. This was the stupidest way I have ever spent my money.

Great artworks. Most Staffs are nice . It was crowed . Our tour was rushed to the next point so fast ! Didn’t not have a chance to explored much . The marshmallow pit should be age limited instead for all ages . It’s risky when The adults in the marshmallow pit didn’t care about the younger ones .

It was fun to go once because you dont know what to expect but we probably wont go again because of the price. Kids 3 and under and are free. Theyre really disorganized at the front door. You dont know which line is for what. From what I saw you can just pay when you get there but it is on an iPad and you swipe on the square. The staff except for the girl who was by the 100 sign seemed really bored like that hated being there. For a candy place you would think they would be more energetic and hype you up. The marshmallow pit is great for pictures but its absolutely disgusting. They have glade plug ins to try to mask the smell but its all feet. The foam smells like feet. If you have smaller children you have to keep a close eye because ppl are constantly jumping in. Overall its a great photo opportunity but thats it.

Not worth the money! Long lines and over crowded! I was in the marshmallow pit for 2 minutes and my phone disappeared, and I couldn’t stay and look for it. Staff told me to fill out a lost and found slip and they’ll contact me when they find it. It’s been a week and a half and I know I won’t be getting my phone back.
