My husband planned this as a fun weeknight date. It was especially meaningful to us, as it was a Harry Potter inspired theme. It was held at Crazy Horse, which was a great venue choice. We were able to order some apps and fun drinks while we painted. The instructor was very clear and easy to follow. The class was a lot of fun and we can’t wait to do more. Fingers crossed for more fun, nerdy themed nights!

My daughter and mother-in-law did a virtual class! The whole experience was great. Someone hand delivered our supplies to our house. We did have a small problem getting the link to the class, but that was solved easily and quickly! We plan on doing another class as soon as our schedule allows! Highly recommend this to anyone!!!!

I attended this event with a group of ladies just before the holidays in 2019. We were able to visit, take direction, paint and have a drink too! It was a fun way to connect and create art too!

I invited my friend to join me for an evening of fun and it was! It had been an extremely long time since I painted anything and the first time at such an event. My artwork is now hanging over my sink so I can remember to Live, Laugh, and Love! Thank you for this memory!

Horrible place! I paid for four people to go and the day before event I get an email saying it’s been rescheduled for the same day as graduation ceremonies oh and they charged me a processing fee to get my money back. I will not be going to wine and canvas ever!

They move locations a lot apparently so we went to the wrong place. Make sure you dont go to the address on Google, there isnt a location there. They also dont pick up phone calls before an evening class. The location we went to was crowded and felt under prepared. The teacher was good though. Very nice girl. Would have been great if we could have seen what was going on though.

Every time Ive had the awesome experience of attending an event its been so much fun because you can choose any of their paintings or follow along with the one theyve chosen for the event. They provide all the paint and you can even pick up your painting the next day so it has time to dry. Its a lot more fun with friends! Its such a great way to spend an evening!

I most recently enjoyed a session at the Owen Valley Winery. It was a bit crowded, but everyone had a great time. It was hard to see the sample of the photo because of where the sun was coming through the window, but that wasnt under their control. I prefer the events when there are no children.

Every time I have a wine and canvas experience with my girlfriends it ends up being some of the best times weve ever had. You dont have to be a pro to paint and thats what I like about this, plus the drinks!

Have never been to the Bloomington location, but have painted both in Brazil and Terre Haute. Good experiences at both places!

My wife, daughter, and I spent Fathers Day afternoon enjoying time together painting and drinking some wine. I would definitely do this again! The staff is friendly and helpful.

It was great experience, instructor was nice, answered everyones questions, she made conversation before it started, made people comfortable, explained how to paint, made it fun. She explained it nicely on where to start lines and picture placement. She didnt rush anyone, stayed positive if someone didnt think they could do it, and overall was a good host. She even took pictures for people while they painted. Went on date night with a friend and instead of drawing half the picture to combine with partner, she gave the option to turn the canvas horizontal and paint the whole picture. It went well. Love the pictures we made. I would recommend and do it again.

I love attending these as often as I can. For the most part they are fun and a very good learning experience. Recently though a friend of mine informed me that the instructor was not friendly and rushed through the 3 hour time slot in 2 hours. I also had a bit of a problem with the technical end of reservations, contacted the main office both via email and phone. Email was not valid and the phone call was never responded to. Just an FYI so that you dont lose business, some people might not be so diligent in trying to make reservations. I just think because youre in the business of service that should be the most important things to concentrate on.....SERVICE.....Thanks

I love Wine and Canvas! I had never really painted before and because of the classes, Ive painted many times. Ive even ventured out and painted my own creations. My family has claimed some of my paintings, which is very flattering. Thank you for opening my eyes and my creativity!

I have been to the wine and canvas several times and my face is used as the advertisements used on Groupon and other places. I enjoyed my times there. My wife and I have done it probably 5 times. Always makes for a good date night.

I go to the Bloomington studio a lot. The instructor have always been great and fun to be around. Its definitely relaxing atmosphere for me and a fun time.

Ive been here twice now. Both experiences were great. I went once with my daughter on Mothers Day for a mother/daughter event and another time for a birthday party. We both enjoyed it both times. My only complaint would be the price but other than that it was great.

Ive been going here since they opened several years ago and love going for the paintings and the fun environment that surrounds the classes. The instructors are great to help and give one-on-one assistance if needed. They make the paintings enjoyable and try to help with the learning curve. I also go to the Open Studio where I am free to paint what I want and I enjoy playing with techniques and colors to create either my own or a painting when I could not attend the class.

We had so much fun doing a girl scout cookies and canvas event here. Weve been twice and loved it both time. Instruction for kids is very clear and they make it understandable. My daughter really enjoyed it.

Very fun night out with my sister! I was worried because I can barely draw a stick person, but I made it through the class and had a blast, while surprising myself with a piece of art that somewhat resembled the original. The instructor was helpful, accommodating, and created a comfortable laid back atmosphere. Definitely a great experience; made all the better by sipping wine throughout!

We held my daughters 7th birthday at Wine and Canvas in Bloomington and it was such a great time for all of the kids that came. The staff was extremely helpful and patient with the kids! With 15 kids a mix of boys and girls ranging from ages 3-12 it allowed all of them to create a great painting to take home and the older kids loved having the freedom to do their own painting instead of just following along with the project the instructor was teaching (which my 7 year old was able to pick out). The break halfway through was a perfect opportunity for snacks and gifts. My daughter still talks about how much fun her party was.

It pains me to write this review.I purchased two gift certificates for my boyfriend and I to take a class together. The online registration, though, does not accept the promo codes listed on the certificates. There were several classes I really wanted to go to specifically because of the selected canvas painting. I reached out to the store on four different occasions. Left three messages and wrote two emails. I have never received a response.All I want is to utilize these gift certificates! However it’s almost like there are no employees working the store!?Extremely poor customer service.

Have only been to cookies and canvas with grandkids. We all love it. Very fun creative 2 hours plus you have something to show for it. Think we have been going for three maybe four years and plan on continuing for many more.

Have come with my great-granddaughter 4 times and with friends several times, as well. Love the organization and easy directions. Also, the freedom to ignore directions. I just discovered the option of sitting in a folding chair. It was much more comfy for me, but there are only a few. Diet Cola? More folding chairs? Love the picture taking after,

I always have a good time here. Instructions are easy to follow and the result is usually pretty good and spot on. They have paintings for all ages. Great for friends who want to hang out.

Went with my daughter and some friends. We had a really good time, but the artist seemed to be in a hurry and the parking is horrible. There were only a few spots designated for Wine & Canvas and signs on the rest saying you couldnt park there. We had a fairly large group and all drove separately so this was a pretty big problem. The artist leading the painting session wanted to take a group picture of the finished paintings before most of us were even done.

Our Wine & Canvas experience was terrific. The hosts/instructors were super helpful and communicated in easy-to-understand terms. Our classmates seemed to all enjoy themselves, each others company, and the beverages (the selection of which all looked--and one confirmed to be--delicious).

I am not an artist by any means. But, the instructors break everything down into little doable sections, that when you are finished you have a Masterpiece (well close to it at least)

I discovered this place while traveling frequently to Bloomington for work. I absolutely loved it! It would be a good idea to advertise this at the hotels. Also, I would love to see a way to view the classes online while at home so I could paint more. Maybe create a monthly membership of $20 for viewing & yall just set up a video camera to record during your regular sessions in the studio. I figured this low amount since you wouldnt be providing any materials. I would definitely join!

The staff is always friendly and patient as they demonstrate the techniques needed to “master” the chosen piece of artwork for the class.

Instructor was super late to a Cookies and Canvas session that many people paid for in advance. They get 4 stars since my previous experiences were very unlike the most recent. I like going there. Its clean and the instructors are nice and helpful. Great place to bring kids and have a date or a night out with friends.

I have not been there for some time, however, when I was it was lots of fun.

It was a girls day out with the kids , cookies and canvas . With an instructor , we step by step , painted fairies while munching on cookies . I will recommend this activity to anyone . It was a great time !

Fun concept and executed well. Staff are helpful and usually upbeat. The kids birthday parties are a favorite among our kids and their friends.

I love that Wine and Canvas Bloomington travels to Terre Haute to have classes. The instructors are knowledgeable about their paintings and they make the class fun. I hope they continue to offer these classes for us.
