Oakeside is such a beautiful place. Its like walking into a fairy-tale. The staff is always so accommodating and they show such heart felt appreciation for such a treasure. Kim is wonderful and always love dealing with her she is the BEST!

The Oakeside Mansion in Bloomfield is a stunning venue if you love dramatic backdrops, victorian aesthetics, and dream of living in the past. It was the perfect location for my 1920s speakeasy wedding.Pricing was very affordable, especially compared to what a typical North Jersey wedding would cost.With that said, you have to be mindful and vigilant of timelines and plans. Be prepared to stay on top of them in regards to communication, it was a hassle to get answers or finalize things. (It was honestly the most stressful part of planning my wedding - just the lack of timely communication and confirmation) Be sure to keep documentation/copies of everything.Despite the communication hiccups though, it all worked out beautifully in the end.Remember that Its an old mansion, with lots of history and character. Play those details up!

It was pretty nice the upstairs bathroom sink need an upgrade or at list fix it water doesnt drain, everything else fine.

Nice place, I went to the food truck that were there. I got great food from Cousins Maine Lobster truck, their Lobster is excellent.

Such a special place. I take my toddler to walk around the gardens year round as there is so much nature to observe and its so lovely in every season. They have a beautiful historic home on the property that you can rent out for events, which we will definitely look into soon. Also yoga during the summer months thats wonderful.

My brothers wedding was here and it was gorgeous. The main building can be tight if you invite too many people, but if kept 100 or less its very cozy. The reception tent was beautiful. It didnt even feel like you were technically outside. There are heaters inside and the lighting is perfect. The food was tasty, and the staff were helpful.

Go there for taste of Bloomfield every year. Its a great event space. Gorgeous landscaping and grounds.

This is a really beautiful spot. If it was closer to me I would have been a more viable option for my wedding, because I really enjoyed the grounds and the reception area was beautiful! The gardens were impeccable. Perfect for a boho rustic wedding!

I have attended numerous Murder Mystery Dinner Shows at the Oakeside and have always had a blast. The Actors in the Shows are very funny, professional and engaging, and I love how they involve the audience in the Show. The Buffet has a nice selection of food items and is very good. I would definitely recommend attending one of the Murder Mystery Dinner Shows here. Money well spent for a fun entertaining night out.

Lovely venue

What a great wedding venue! We had our wedding there in the beginning of April this year. We were looking for a place that wasnt too cheesy or a lame dance hall. We immediately fell in love with this place the minute we saw pictures online. The mansion has such character! Our initial meeting with Inez was relaxed and informative. She was very open to suggestions, ideas, additions, changes, etc. She couldnt have been more clear that this was OUR wedding. They were happy to assist in any manner that would make us happy.The cocktail hour was in the mansion itself. The passed horderves were all delicious! There was a farm table and we requested a pasta station. Everything was paid out nicely. The liquor is not include but there is a buy rite in Bloomfield that partners with them for about $7 a person. We added upgrades and it came out to about $12 a person. The overall grounds are so cool and if you have a nice day, your guests and you can explore while enjoying each others company and a drink or two. The dinner is set up inside a permanent tent which has hard floors (no sinking in) and glass doors for an entrance. Between the house and the tent is a nice fountain to walk around. Inside there is enough room for tables, dance floor, dj booth, bar, photo booth, and the best of company. Dinner was delicious. We choose a duet which includes two entrees on one plate. Dessert was also yummy. At the end of the night they helped us pack up and load up. It was nicely done overall and Inez along with all the management and servers of Frungillo Caters were great!

The service and professionalism is exceptional at Oakside!I highly recommend having an event there. Epicare Associates, Inc.hosted a healthcare education seminar and it was a great success!From the parking, public transportation location and drop off near facility, cleanliness, flexibility, set up and clean up, etc. We would definitely host another training session there. Kim Reilly has been great to work with!!!!
