Our family has been visiting metro for the past 3-4 years. It is a wonderful place with an amazing staff of people. They are always incredibly professional, kind, and helpful !

It’s my kind of place where the people are super cool and just a little relaxed without compromising anyone’s safety even in the slightest. I considered Jay my friend right from the start and every time he see’s me he will take time to come over and say hi no matter how busy they are. That’s what I’m talking about! -Jeff-

Good memories of shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays here. The club house and grounds are well kept. Staff are helpful. Havent used the indoor range much.

Had an amazing time shooting trap at metro gun club. The place is nice and clean. The folks are extremely helpful. I want to specially give a shout to the gal at the front desk who was amazing and did a great job helping us and explaining everything despite juggling a bunch of things. Also Carter is amazing! He helped us with the basics and was extremely patient as it was our first time as we shot. They make a great team and we will surely be back! This place is much better than a bunch of over places advertised on groupon.

Metro Gun Club offers a great trap/skeet experience, with fair prices, and good customer service. I have been coming here for years, and have always left a satisfied customer (although sometimes very humble from my shooting scores...). Plenty of trap and skeet stations, and an indoor range as well.

I have been going to metro gun club for about 2 months now ever since I got my firearm safety from Metro Gun Club. I have done all my shooting there, I have since joined the spring Lake Park trap league. Overall I have loved all my experiences at Metro Gun Club.

Fun place

I shoot often but not shotguns. My first time at Metro and had no idea how things worked there for shooting clays. They were great to us.Explained things well got us in place and were first class to deal with.Plan on going back and often. Had a great time. Price was good as well.

Excellent youth firearm safety class

It would be nice if there was no shooting outdoors after 5pm so we could enjoy a dinner with my family. Every other gun club in the Twin Cities is only open on one weekend day and closed most days during the week. It sounds like WWII outside! My kids are not able to sleep because of the shots...Please change your hours!

Absolutely love shooting here. The rounds are fast and the place is clean. Plenty of traps houses to keep everyone flowing through. If they notice things getting backed up around one house, theyll open another one.I love shooting here. And theyre open every single day, so i can shoot when its convenient for my schedule. Favorite place ever. Shoot here. You will enjoy it.

Me and my dad are certified with gun safety and are experienced. I brought my inexperienced friend along because i want him to get into the sport and maybe get his license through them like i did...WRONG, he cant shoot at all. We also cant sight in our shotguns because you cant use slugs on there range or handguns. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this place at all costs and going up to the siren gun range to shoot.

I always get a big bang coming here. The ladies at the register are very friendly and there are professionals around that will share shooting tips if you are willing to listen.

Great place, Rick works hard to make this place safe and accommodating even to daughters as they learn to shoot. Love the Duck tower and the trap and skeet fields are numerous.

Great place, very welcoming staff, and reasonable prices. The best thing about Metro Gun Club is the staff attitude, very friendly, joking with visitors here and there, and most importantly very patient with new shooters. All you need is to get to the range, and you will be set to enjoy in no time.Highly recommended for professional shooters, occasionally shooters, and absolutely new shooters.

One of the best venues for shooting in the Twin Cities. Great clubhouse to relax and have refreshments after a good day shooting. No food service. The owners are very involved in local charities & raising awareness for hunting and shooting sports.

While theres some truth in the comments about the indoor range being somewhat crowded when its really busy, the good news is that its rarely full. They have great facilities for trap, skeet, etc., reasonable rates, plenty of room for you to sit back and relax after shooting, and a very friendly and helpful staff. If you want to take the dive and purchase a very reasonably priced membership, rates on both the indoor and outdoor ranges are discounted even further.Another thing Ive found to be true of Metro is that their clientelle is as friendly as the staff, and are especially welcoming and helpful with newbies.

I am the team event coordinator for my development team and we decided to go to Metro Gun Club to go shooting. I have been to many ranges in Minnesota, and by far, Metro Gun Club is one of the best. I live south of the cities, but the drive is very worth it. Love the location, the cleanliness, and the size. I am even thinking of getting a membership with them.

Ive been visiting weekly to use the pistol range. The offer the range to non-members for only $10 every 30 minutes. I find Metro to be very cost effective as I usually only visit for 30-45 minutes ( they only charge $15 for 45mins). If I plan on shooting more than a couple hundred rounds I will go to Bills a couple miles away because they charge a flat rate of $20 for unlimited time, so they are a better option when staying for more than an hour. I do like metro a lot too because I am allowed to practice rapid fire ( unlike Bills) and the pistol range isnt ever busy ( unlike bills)

I came here for my first experience of trap and sporting clay shooting. Everyone was incredibly friendly and one gentleman even said that it was great to see some young blood around the club. Looking forward to going back and practicing!

My family and I drove from Princeton to Metro Gun Club. It was definately worth the drive! The place is clean, the staff are polite and knowledgeable, and the price is fair. We really enjoyed it here and will be back!

Went to MGC for Gun Safety Training with my son and loved it! The trainers take their job very seriously but also have a sense of fun. Very interesting, learned a lot! People there are very helpful and friendly. Awesome duck and shooting ranges.

We have shot here for over 10 years. Not sure why after the huge price increases a couple years back. After being on a 5 man team and being told that you need 5 guy to have 21 weeks shot to he in a shoot off for a chance to win. Guess if someone gets hurt or sick you just throw in the towel. On top of that, waiting an hour for a puller we decide to have someone sitting there pull for US. If thats not had enough, the crank the music on the load speaker as we go out to shoot. Hard to believe a place like that turn into what it has. It is the highest place in the state to shoot. You can shoot anywhere cheaper. Done

Range is set up with the possible of getting sprayed with bb’s. Had my car get dented up from getting shot at. Their weekend hours are also terrible.
