A pleasant walking area in the woods and along the water. It provides just enough separation from the houses and buildings around that you feel like youre much more remote than you actually are.
Didnt explore very much. Only one of four were prepared for rocky and steep terrain. Appeared to have many spots near the water for a picnic, but must be willing to navigate a 25 to 50 feet hill to get there. Rating is based on a very short hike. Will try again with my boots and probably poles.
We went for a walk there it was calming and just the right amount of time to walk to the end. The only thing I would say, if youre unsteady or Walk with a cane there are tree roots you have to watch for.
Beautiful place, great walk along the river, many trails, some very easy, other more difficult
Cool place for a hike or impromptu picnic. If youre a kayaker, you can kayak upstream several miles, passing under a historical three level railroad crossing.
Nice place for short nature walk, picnic or foshing.
Great place. Nice for a little hike.
Super-cute little cutaway path to take with your beloved. There is a picnic table. Lovely little trail. Check it out to relax and breathe in greenery both with the eyes and lungs...
Great views nice to Walk along the river ️ and enjoy the nature rocks and .
Very nice place beautiful Scenic Trail along the river and the man-made Dam waterfall are always a beautiful sight
Great place to kayak in the fall to see all the colorful trees
Best easy hike and so peaceful.
Beautiful place and cool paths to explore
Calmness, relaxation, tranquility, breathtaking beauty, happiness........all words that only barely describe the environment of this hidden gem of nature!! However, since COVID19 came about-the beautiful Kindness Project Inspirational rock bed has become trampled, overgrown, and seemingly, forgotten. During a recent trip to Wasaga Beach, we collected several rocks that we will be transforming into new messages of Hope and inspiration, and motivation. We will then place them in the Rock bed at the kindness project site. Please help us restore this site!!!
Grew up in Mass my whole didnt know this place was here. Great view
Paths arent clearly marked, but it was a great loop
Great views of the river and nice hiking trails.
Really nice picnic area and enjoyed the walk along the river.
The views were great, but there was a lot of glass on the trails near the falls. I would not recommend bringing your dogs.
Beautiful. Nice hidden treasure for Cumberland RI folks!!
GREAT WALKING TRAILS,KYake Launching Area To Cruise The Blackstone River,Great Views & Scenery For Taking Photographs
Nice hiking trails along the river.
Great scenic short walk
Fun place to hike. super pretty scenery
Nice park. Great views
Trail markers can be hard to follow but other than that the trails are pretty nice. One follows the river a decent distance and the rest move off to the side some.
Lovely place to walk & relax at.
Awesome family time
It was a very wonderful walking trail. It was so nice to see different things in nature
This is actually 1 of 3 parts of the Blackstone River and Canal heritage area. The Gorge is located in Blackstone Massachusetts. It offers a beautiful man-made waterfall at the dam. The area also offers about a mile and a half hiking trails which are relatively easy to hike.
Nice hike along the river. Dog friendly.
Great place for a walk
Love this place !
Always a great place.....!
Peacefull and nice Walk
Pretty and quiet, nice little trail good views.
Awesome hiking trail for all ages.
This is my favorite local park for leisure & nature walking. Miles of trails offer the chance to choose whether you prefer flat or hilly terrain. Go to the Riverbend Farm Visitors Center for a trail map.
Great trail a the river sound makes it more relaxing
Its a great place to sit, walk or run. Scenic and quiet
Nice quiet hike with spectacular views !
Its a small Grove by small man-made falls. Sadly the area isnt kept particularly well, or wasnt when I was there.
Beautiful hike along the river.
Pretty, easy trails
Its really nice places
One of the best nature walk places that is local to Blackstone. Always a great and peaceful experience.
Put canoe in at gorge with the old lady with a six pack and a few joints and a radio on a hot summer Saturday afternoon and headed to millville had a grand ol time !
Great experience learning about the canal and loch system.
Had a great time following the animal trails along the river
Great for the whole family
Beautiful area for a nice walk. Easy main trail, level surface.
Really nice and peaceful, the river really helps to relax and enjoy the day.
Great place to hike or have lunch
I love this place its so beautiful weather its raining snowing or sunshine
Really nice park with waking paths, barbecue grills and benches... Be-utiful water views along the river... Too bad that with this EEE going around, the joy of outside is spoiled, protect yourselves from mosquitos and EEE, wear repellent)
Nice fresh air to walk lots of green grass beautiful pond for lake
Great little spot to soak in some history and take the dog for a walk.
Great small trail that is perfect for a quick mini-hike by the historic Roaring River! Would recommend a fall hike when the foilage is at its peak
Beautiful, beautiful little hike. Nothing super challenging; a few ups and downs, so bring your sneakers, but most people of average health are pretty comfortable regardless of fitness level.
Great for a Walk with your dog or exploring with a friend.
Beautiful
Beautiful place to take a hike
Nice green and cool place.
So much litter!
Needs some trash cans to prevent parking lot litter.
I was actually at the Blackstone River and Canal Park in Uxbridge, a few miles upriver from the Gorge. The Blackstone is a river filled with great views, wonderful hiking and biking, and opportunities for watercraft. Both Massachusetts and Rhode Island have good parks along what was the hardest working river in the country.
Clerk very helpful in finding best product solution.
Nice place for a short hike, trails arent too strenuous an well marked. Good views throughout trail of the Blackstone river. Dogs are allowed, has off road parking an a small boat ramp.
Peaceful & serene!
Great place with a ton of trails!
Beautiful place. So peaceful. Lots of turtles in the water. People were there fishing, kayaking and walking their dogs.
Really a nice walk
Nice quite place. We went on a long walk. Trail near the water is very beautiful. My kid had a great time watching fish, tortoise and birds
One of my favorite places to explore in the area!
Great place for the family with a TON of trails!
Beautiful place but as usual there are no places for fishing along the river
Very peaceful environment
Great place to relax
Beautiful place to walk
Took my 7 yr old grandson there last weekend and he loved the little rock garden so we made a few at home and brought them back. Very relaxing and a nice walk.
Beautiful area of Massachusetts. This place offers several trails by the river, perfect for dog walking and light hiking. A bit of hilly terrain so not great for people with mobility issues or injuries. Offers a parking lot, picnic benches, and a railing/standing area near the waterfall. Decent fishing spots as well.
Good place to visit
Great place to sit, chill and watch the waterfall. May want to bring a rod and cast out a few.
