Large theatre for the performing arts in the heart of Blacksburg. The building itself has a wide array of seating and is very clean. Performances vary from choirs to orchestras, and every time I have gone I have not been disappointed! This is a must-go attraction for visitors in the Burgs.

Although I was there for the 2019 Science Festival, the part of the center it was held in was absolutely stunning. It was beautiful, clean and modern, and this is a great place to capture photos and have photo shoots as well! I plan to explore the rest of the building and witness amazing art and architecture!

Good place for VT student for music and art !

I loved the fact that VA Tech chose to host A Conversation with The Exonerated 5. I traveled on a bus ride from Danville VA for the event. Being a native New Yorker & having lived there when this horrific travesty took place, I felt it an honor to be in the presence of these heroes and to listen, although painful, to their stories. The Moss Arts Center staff & students were very accommodating & polite & this was a great venue for such an event!!!

The Moss Arts Center is a world-class performance venue with excellent acoustics and sightlines. If you like a performer, you will love them at The Moss.

Very impressed. We are all lucky to have such a fine opportunity in our backyard. I wish the website had more information about parking and tips. If I were traveling from out of town I would have been late trying to get a parking space. Carly D was amazing help. We love her.

Oh My GosH ThiS PlacE was AMaZinG. The Art Exhibit the they have to offer is not limited to visual art, but the art of Acoustics/Audio now Aromatheraputic art would be Kool as well... But The stage Performance Featuring LowKey was one of the best performance events with a live band that Ive attended thus far. And Cube Alone was OutStanding . It truely was an Emersive Experience into to the In depth Interaction and FeeL of Live Sound. I was actually sik feeling but the vtLivEmossMusiCubE and the live music experience kept me there for the whole show. I missed tons of Funky frames simply because I was feeling cold and chilled and I wanted to be so respect as to not disturb anyone view of the performance.

True treasure for the community. Wide variety of performances and exhibits on the stage and in the galleries.

Moss offers free tickets to students, and I would highly recommend them. The art exhibits are worth a walk through, if youre feeling especially cultured. There are a wide variety of shows offered at Moss that cater to everyones interests, from orchestras, to acrobatic circus-esque shows, to plays. Moss also offers volunteer opportunities.

Went here with my Stem club to participate in the science fair. It was such an amazing place.

A delightful evening at the Moss arts center where I enjoyed the Virginia Tech Choral Spring concert, featuring The womens chorus, the tech men and the womens chamber chorale singers. These three excellent ensembles all provided lovely music under great direction. The space is comfortable still brand new feeling and quite nice for a concert. The staff that works there also does an outstanding job of making you feel welcomed.

THE place for culture in Blacksburg. Every year you have at least one amazing concert (Yo-Yo Ma, Ithzak Perlman), a ton of talented student plays and shows, plus the ever-changing art galleries always have thoughtful and interesting pieces with detailed descriptions, books, and info.Along with Hahn Garden, this is one of two must-sees in Blacksburg.

It was amazing!

I had the pleasure of seeing my son play in the VT Honor Band and this was a tremendous venue in which to to see him play. The acoustics are excellent and the student staff was professional to the highest degree. I can see why the band directors had such wonderful things to say about the center!

NOBUNTO concert outstanding. Tight drum-based rhythm and vocals, excellent instrumentation and dance. Hats off to LADYSMITH BLACK MAMBAZO for getting that spirit going 40 years ago--and five hats off to the five singers/friends for spinning it into the 5.0 version incorporating the timely and very necessary female take on that same spirit.

I visited in 2018 specifically to see the temporary William Wegman exhibit that was there. I enjoyed the images! I was disappointed in their location- a dark, general hallway, but at least I got to see them IRL. The building has some fantastic features that are a (fun) challenge to photograph. :)

There are no bad seats in the Moss Arts Center. You can see and hear well from every location. The Center has brought culture to the small town of Blacksburg. Even YO YO MA is scheduled for this season. Tickets are reasonable. Acoustics and seats were good! Beautiful hall!

Nice and open layout. Parking is a bit difficult, but understandable since it is at a busy university. The auditorium design allows for very nice acoustics.

This is an amazing hall that brings in high profile artists, performers, dancers, theater troupes, and so much more. Its a progressive and mind opening place, and holds a very high standard of programming.

Brand new, very cool building. Its beautiful inside and out. Rotating art exhibits decorate the walls (and ceiling) on the first and second floors. The third floor has balconies with some fantastic views of Blacksburg. A welcome addition to the Blacksburg cultural scene.

Unique environment, nothing like it in the region. free art exhibits constantly, interior is quite beautiful.

The only reason i didnt give 5 stars is the fact that i was sweating due to a lack of AC in the upper deck.

Nice theater but parking is very limited. Why build such a large theater then make parking so very difficult? Not worth the long, long walk in the rain to parking. Poor design.
