I love mish mish

Really polite, kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff! I wanted to buy a sketch book and pencils for drawing, having no prior knowledge on them, and the staff member was really helpful in selecting the stuff, she even took time to explain the use of different types of pencils. You can select from a decent array of choices.

This is one of the few privately owned art/architecture supply stores left in America and probably the best. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices are competitive with Amazon and other online retailers. If you are an art/architecture student I recommend using Mish-Mish for finding your supplies.

This place was a staple of Virginia Tech and Blacksburg for years. Its one of the best stores Ive ever had the pleasure of shopping at, and its truly a shame they had to close

Huge selection of all things related to and needed to make any type of art. Huge selection of colored pens and pencils, including a great selection of items suitable for children. Very helpful and friendly staff. Store is clean and extremely well organized. Prices are very reasonable.

A great little store to find art supplies you couldn’t otherwise get at a larger market such as Michaels. The price can be on the higher end of the spectrum, so come prepared.

The perfect Art store. I have been visiting the store for 35 years and I am very sad that its closing in June of this year.

Mish Mish has staff thats always ready, willing, and excited to help. Ive always been able to find what Im looking for with ease and have gotten great recommendations on origami paper and plenty of other project needs.

Surprisingly well-stocked art supply store tucked into downtown Blacksburg. Theyve got a great variety of supplies, plus books and kits for beginners and young people. The staff generally is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great art supply store. Has a small selection of instructional Art books. More art instruction books than Barnes & Noble or B.A.M. The costs of good quality art items are lower here than online. Great local art store when Michaels or AC Moore do not have some of the better quality art supplies.

SUCH a fantastic art and architecture supply store! A little something for everyone; children, hobbyists, professionals, and everyone in between will find something to spark or manifest their creativity. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.

What can I say? This store has it all! Everything an artist could possibly want! I love it! I purchased some very nice fountain pens here at a very reasonable price for pen & ink art work and Ive been very pleased. This is a specialty shop so if youre looking for some little odd or end that you cant find at Michaels, try this place--they probably have it.

Great service and plenty of supplies as always

I was very pleased to find that they carried watercolor supplies. I found a water brush that I wouldve had to order, since neither Michaels nor anyone else carries much in the way of watercolor supplies.

A nice craft store. They have about anything youd need for drawing, painting, etc. The prices are more on the expensive side since it is a local place, but the staff are very helpful.
