Its a great park! We went there to play some frisbee golf. It was a lot of fun and a unique course, but the layout is a little confusing. If you havent played this course before, take a friend that has. It seems pretty well kept though. It was a really good time.

Skate park, 2 childrens playgrounds, tennis courts, restrooms, and lots of space for riding bikes or playing ball.

Depending on a certain situation, in the skatepark, it is a very nice place to practice, if it is not overcrowded which depending on time and day can be very overwhelming, at the times that Ive been there, everybody is looking out for each other, but accidents do happen.I dont know how it is at night with others, but around the area, I have seen many broken bottles and glass in certain areas, so Im always mindful of that.Are the times that Ive been there the tennis court area was in good appearanceThe area surrounding the whole entire park seems to be kept clean, but still can be found random trash here and there.The disc golf park area, has always been buzzy, only being overcrowded when theres a tournament.All around the surrounding Park area, grass has been cut, so I have never really seen it ever being too high..The trees surrounding the entire area give it a nice and shady place to walk, so it wont be too hot.The kids parks have always been kept in good repair.The walk path all-around is also been in good repair.Theres a few outside shelters with BBQs so you can have family picnics.This area is also perfect because it is very close to a tiny kids out side water park.Adults and kids can use this water park.I have not seen a lot of shady people here, so hopefully there is no drug-related issues going on at night.My experience is only with the skatepark, some of the rocks that they have four people displayed have quite a broken broken pieces of glass, which my understanding is beer bottles, and a lot of drinking, hope everyones experience is better, I would really love for them to really clean up that around thereskatepark is for adults and kids you just have to go when theres not too many people, 20 people can be overcrowded.Im not sure how it works but there is some kids activity center, next to the skatepark, not sure how or who has access, I think its for only scheduled for groups.I have walked the entire area, there is some areas where there is picnic tables to sit, as well as garbage cans throughout, which seemed to be cleaned out weekly.A lot of individuals walking on these paths, tend to pick up their dogs poop, but some dont, always be aware of that.If youre curious always give it a look before you decide go here for future events, I would say in total length from end-to-end it would be at least a mile or less in length, Im not certain thats just a general guess.

Big park with a beautiful atmosphere. Had a good walk trail with a great view at the top!

Took my kids with their scooters. There was a lot of broken glass. Besides that we had a lot of fun.

Great place to walk . We picked up several bags of trash in 3 different walks. Plenty of trash cans that could have been used. Sad that people leave such a mess.

Love this place! My boys love the slides and the huge bucket that spills the water everywhere!

It is good because this is what we have. But its okay, because this is what have.Theyve added to it over the years here. But really. Bismarck needs another skate park.

Great park, plenty of open areas and lots of walking paths that lead to really pretty views of Bismarck.

My son and I play here 2 to 3 times a week. Well maintained and kept. Nicely done staff!

Great game of frisbee golf

This is a beautiful Park in the center of Bismarck North Dakota to hang out a or walk in, in any season of the year!!! It has a skateboard park and a tennis court, hockey rink, and shelters with electricity!!It also has a wonderful swimming pool with an awesome water slide!

A bit cold for this time of the year late January but its clean and fun.

Locals call it Hillside Park. Frisbee golf course is pretty good. Skatepark is OK.

Two different parks that were perfect for my 2 1/2 year old twins! Love all the trees for shade. It was a perfect day for a picnic!!

Excellent park - maybe the best one in town. The tennis courts are well maintained. It also has a fun skate park, frisbee golf course, and adult sized slides. A wonderful joy for all ages.

Love that there is different areas for kids to play and there is a nice walking path. Also it is pet friendly

Beautiful park!!! Just wish the prices of the pool didnt cost an arm or leg for fun in the sun riding a slide... Kids at the skate park selling drugs is another big detour.

Had a snowball fight today. I Love disc golfing there on the other side of the water park. Always someone there. Whether its the kids park or the skate park. I enjoy it

Absolutely love the walkability of this park. Tennis, skate park, pool, walking paths, frolf course, shelters with grills and in winter ice skating. Having grown up here, we call it Hillside Park. If youre looking for lots of space to play or exercise, this is a great, safe place.

Frolf course could be bigger and 1 more playground would be nice.

This is a family friendly hub all year round! We live really close to it and can always hear kids playing at the skate park, hockey rink, tennis courts or water park. Theres really no other park like Lions and Hillside in Bismarck with what they offer.

Cool spot with a nice, short 9 hole disc golf course.

Course is good for beginners as well as novice players. Baskets could use pole flags for ease of spotting and could have better site map for each hole (basket) Trash cans usually overflow and area looks messy. Other than that, lets get throwing and have fun!

Service was slow they said it was busy night and it wasnt they said 15 mins until we get our food and waited 30 mins and this was in a drive thru

There used to be a huge garden on top of a hill here, but for some reason they tore out all of the plants and it now its mostly barren. They could also maintain the park better, lots of trash laying around.

Prob the most diverse park in town. Take advantage of playing on tennis courts, grab a frisbee for a round if golf or ride a bike on the trails. Good size open park.

This is a very well kept park with lots of mature trees. Theres a swimming pool for the short summer and a large ice rink with warming house for the long winter. The East end of the park is 100+ feet above the West end of the park making for stunning views of the rest of Bismarck.

Very large Park, with picnic shelters for large gatherings with more than one kiddy playground. Atop the hill, is the public swimming pool & water activities. Well maintained, too.

Horseshoe pits available. 2 large shelter areas with lots of picnicnic tables and a couple grills for barbecuing. porta potties available near tennis courts. This would be a great park to have a family get together.

My favorite park in Bismarck.

Ice skating, swimming pool, walking path, restrooms, large beautiful shade trees lots of well taken care of lawn and ample parking on most days. What a great Park!

Bring my kids here all the time. Also has a walk way around the park so if your kids are older you can let them play while walking and keep an eye on them as well.

Best in town can go swim or walk or play depends on you.
