I really like the zoo, the animals are really good and the staffs have shown good customer service. The zoo is pretty huge and I really enjoy taking a walk along the same path. People are super nice and friendly here. You learn new things everyday here.

I love the North Dakota Zoo, despite the broad variety of animals, its a place to visit if youd like to learn more about wildlife. I am very excited to see what the new exhibits are going to bring. I will definitely be coming back.

Great place to spend an evening. There is a fairly broad variety of animals, meaning there is something for everyone. If your looking to just waste some time, or learn about wildlife, the zoo is a good place to start. They are expanding too, so new exhibits coming soon!

The place was clean. There were vending machines, trash cans, and bathrooms everywhere. Its a fun place to visit! Place is well taken care of. The zoo train was sanitized every time. Theres a variety of animals and you can tell they are well taken care of. The zookeepers and staff were all very nice and well-informed.

Its about 10 dollars for adults to enter, we took 3 hours enjoying ourselves around the zoo.. stopped at several animal exhibits and habitats. Close encounters with endangered animals. The offer a trolly ride for 5 dollars and it looks like fun! We really liked the staff and all the animals they had there. Good gift store and concessions

Had a great time with my daughter and granddaughter at the zoo today. Other guests were pleasant and the employees were really nice. I got a year yearly pass for my family, can come anytime.

Fun but wished the reptile cages were not so empty and that more of the animals were rescued. The buffalo were to far off to see at all. For the price it was good!

Enjoyed our trip to the zoo today. Pallas babies keep growing. Our first trip on the new trains was also a nice way to cool off a bit.

The Dakota Zoo never fails to be fun and educational. Zookeeper Kassie is the best! Her vast knowledge of creatures great and small plus her willingness to share make her our favorite!!!

It was a cute zoo and had many surprisingly exotic animals. I liked that they had a train and you can rent out wheelchairs for seniors. It was much bigger than I initially anticipated and the animals looked well taken of.

I love going to the zoo, any zoo but having a home town zoo like the Dakota Zoo is the best. I really enjoy watching all the animals. Its a great way to spend an afternoon.

Great family zoo. Has a fun train that you can ride and tour the whole zoo. Its a great way to see the whole area. They have a very wide range of animals. A kiddie park and really fun discovery area to go in and cool down on hot days. They also have fun family activities you can attend through out the year.

The new trains are fun for the littles. The staff and volunteers do a great job with upkeep and improvements. Cant wait for the new exhibit!

I was blown away by it all! It was my first time, typically I drive through Bismarck but with a toddler its a good resting point in a long drive. From now on Ill be sure to stop and stay overnight in Bismarck. We have a new family tradition!

Animals were active, it was fun...the coyote had bitting flys eating his earsBut the staff was attentive to animalsBears were the coolsest of the day.Only 20 bucks for 2 people.

Went the first of March and so enjoyed the visit. Since it was cool out almost all those animals were out and the one who need warmth were inside exhibits. It made the visit really enjoyable to be able to see so many animals. I will say good walking, enclosed shoes are important here as the walkways are rough and broken in places (I fell once) and this early there was a lot of snow melt with flooded walkways making that not an enjoyable experience. Overall loved it!

Great environment for kids to see lots of animals. They love the train ride and never pass on an opportunity to visit the zoo. It is also right by the Super Slide Amusement Park.

This is the most amazing zoo Ive ever been to. Only $9.50 for adults and they had tons of animals ( I must say, no elephants or african animals, but I did not miss them). We got to see all the predators up close, there is a really cool wooded loop for walking and all sorts of animals. Do not miss out on this great zoo.

Great zoo! Probably the best in the state. Had a lot of fun on the train and looking at the animals with my 4 yr old. They have a nice park and kids gold panning activity.

The animals need TLC esp the bears, they are hungry and thirsty when we were there, i love the garden the flowers are beautiful

Took a wrong turn and ended up here at midnight, thanks for not calling the cops as I made a 7 point turn in my truck trying to turn around. Cant wait to take my kids here after all the covid hub-bub.

The zoo is okay. Its small and the admission fee is very reasonable. Good for some entertainment. A lot of small enclosures which could do with some renovations. Park is clean and well maintained. Lots of shade. The tigers were the best part.

For a city the size of Bismarck, the display of animals is actually quite impressive. Ive been to larger zoos we other more varied animals, but Id say this one is still worth your time. The crown jewel in their collection are the tigers, so dont miss that!

They have some amazing animals and are always super friendly when my 5 year old has a thousand questions.

Best shop in TOWN. Dont waste your time with the other guys get fixed correct the first time.

This zoo was amazing! Coming from Wichita,is where the Sedgwick County Zoo is phenomenal, I found this zoo refreshing and unique. It was amazing to see all the North American animals along with some exotics. My wife and I will be bringing our kids with us in a couple of years to this zoo.

Always fun with the kids, beautiful place.

Just dont go between noon and 2 pm they all were napping.....

They didn’t let me pet the tigers for a Tik tok. They didn’t even let me hang with the monkeys. I didn’t get to pet the bears which I was really excited about. They didn’t let me swim with the otters, btw I’m a REALLY good swimmer. They didn’t let me ride the goats and pigs which made me sad.

All around great place for all ages

It was a very nice Zoo. Small but with a lot to see. We got to see raccoons up close and you could buy food to feed them and other animals throughout the park, like the groundhog in the photo. They have lots of animals to see. We even saw a white tiger sleeping on top of an outpost and a Bangel tiger too. The white tiger was a sleep. The cost to get in was $9 each which isnt bad. We went on our anniversary in August. Which was very nice warm and not a lot of ppl there. You should stop in and see this place. Only reason I didnt give it a 5 star was because I thought they shouldve had more places opened in the park to get something to eat or drink.

All the animals were up and moving for dinner! The girls really got a show and loved it!

This is the best zoo I have ever been to in my life. We stopped here on our way to Medora and it was the best pit stop we could have imagined. All of the animals seem so happy and playful even on the hottest of days. The raccoons were the most adorable things I have ever seen in person. They were the best to feed as they held up their little paws to grab it from you. I would highly highly recommend going here if you get the chance!!!!

This zoo does a lot with a little. While its small compared to zoos in other cities it has interactive areas with smaller animals and allows you to get some wonderful views of wildlife. The pens are built into the landscape giving a much more realistic feel to the experience. Only took about an hour to walk through but it was very memorable. Monkey and Great Cat exhibits were the highlights for me.

Great place to enjoy in family, I love it

Went to go to take photos with Santa which we were led to think were free. Paid $19 to get in, saw a sign with the prices on it for pictures $10-25 (depending on what you wanted). Decided it wasnt worth almost $40 to take a photo with Santa, so I requested a refund for the zoo entry since we hadnt gone in. The lady stated she cant give refunds and that I would have to come back another day to get one. She then gave us a Supervisors # to call, but when we tried to call, it wasnt an actual number. Moral of the story, dont try to get refunds, as they will make you jump through hoops to get it. I did get it in the end.

Nice little zoo. We really enjoyed ourselves, from the goats to the grizzly bears, it was a lot of fun. Admission is very reasonable and the park is small enough to walk around is a reasonable amount of time.Next time we are down this was we will definitely visit again!

Great zoo especially for the price. One of the less expensive zoos Ive been to (under$10/person). The animal variety included elusive locals, farm, and exotic animals. I loved that there were so many opportunities to feed the animals so bring quarters! They had the most active river otter Ive ever seen!

It was a good way to spend a day with the family.Would have been nice if the vending machines along the way accepted more than just $1 bills... Or worked (1 didnt)... Other than that, a good time.
