This is a great place for so many activities. It has a pool an exercise room walking track and various rooms for different size meetings. Rooms are for rent for parties group meetings or training. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Big, nice, clean, not to packed, nice fellow people, cute desk girl. Nice staff that will greet you every time.

Friendly, helpful ladies that gave me great information to better myself affordably if not free! Highly recommend you check this out.

Great place to workout and for the kids to attend summer camp

It was ok. Nothing special. It is the only place I been to that charge for kids rec games. Not tournaments but regular rec games.

Love this place! Great for the community offers a variety of things to do and its free. The classes offered do cost, but very little. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. My son and I always have a great time here. We love the indoor pool its huge and clean and everyone is so nice. I am so glad that I just sparked up a conversation at a local gas station and the lady told me about Pinson Valley Recreation, and told me to come check it out cause she worked there :) I now tell everyone that is on a tight budget about it. Great place cant say enough!

It was a nice place to hold an event. The place is way out in the Netherlands though. It is clean next and comfortable. The building and grounds I understand once belonged to Jefferson State Junior College was sold to the City of Birmingham, and is now s decoration center.

Great place to swim, exercise, meet and greet people, very friendly and accommodating staff.

Clean, the life guards are very nice and pleasant as well as helpful. The pool is always calm and quiet making it a relaxing environment to swim laps. It is heated and can sometimes be a little bit too warm. All in all Im grateful to have the center available. Wish the pool hours were longer

This is a hidden jewel! Fitness. Fun. Family functions. Very accommodating.

I think last review I gave five stars..but the recent times I have gone up there or called on the phone..I think they have hired some new staff members which dont have the same customer service skills as previous staff Ive spoken with, I felt like I was bothering them by asking just general questions and that they really didnt seem to want to well do what they are there to do..aka help people / provide information...felt like I was being talked down to in a way..which I didnt like at all..but who does rt? Hopefully the new hires well if you dont like your job that much then find another one..or leave your attitude at home..

My church circle walk the track their on Tuesdays. Very nice facility.

Attended my grandmas 90th birthday party! Glory to God! The space was very clean and spacious. I would recommend for any event.

My son went to swimming lessons there, my son is 6, and he learned how to swim! The life guards are nice, caring, and patient.
